Through all the damage done, and all the horrors stripped to stand exposed, can the wrongs enacted become right? Can the monster lurking beneath Calix’s very handsome skin remain dormant – or will that monster ruin all the beauty thriving – in a moment of fear.

Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Alannah Carbonneau is only a short drive away from the Rocky Mountains that have a staring place in so many of her novels. With seventeen novels and counting currently available on Amazon, Alannah is not only a full-time author, but a full-time mom of two beautiful boys, and wife to an amazing man who always has her back. She lives in a rambling ranch house that needs way too many renos and has one too many cats, but she is happy and in love.

With a solid circle of friends and family, and a very manly, supportive husband who does his best to make sure his family is taken care of, Alannah’s novels feature manly men (sometimes they can be a LOT manly) and friend/family relationships weaved into the stories, because life is about a whole mess of people, and although this is fiction, the best fiction is sprinkled with sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) bits of reality.

Because she loves romance, Alannah writes Contemporary and New Adult Romance. Soon to be released is the Creekwood Valley Series that has ties to the reader beloved Donnelley Brother Series, where light suspense and romance weave to create titillating stories that not only steal your heart but keep you on the edge of your seat. She is the author of the highly rated Teach Me Series, an emotional read about love, life and lessons learned. Our Dark Design is a standalone erotic romance peppered with enough suspense to keep you turning the pages, and The Choice is an entirely unconventional standalone romance about three.

She is currently working on a Cross World Fantasy Romance Series for Adults she can’t wait to share with you, because this will feature hot men who are a little bit dominant and a lot protective who are head over heels in love with stubborn, magnificent women.

When Alannah isn’t writing or spending time with her three men, she can be found in her garden, or with a paint brush in hand. But no matter where she is or what she’s doing, you can bet that she’s thinking of a love story she can share with you.

I finished the whole series in two days, and what a journey! It was difficult to rate it: I had completed feeling toward this series. Whenever I felt warm toward H, he would do sth that made me wonder was he ever going to be a normal man? The only thing I was sure was that he definitely was not book-boyfriend material. As for h, I was not even sure she was mental stable after she went through everything, esp the way she relied on H. Somebody might think it was romantic to always need to stay near one's soul mate…but I thought it was not healthy. And the reason behind H's revenge made little sense to me. Although I had so many doubts while reading, I just couldn't put my kindle down.

Recommend to readers who liked to read story about H kidnapped h and fell in love with each other.

My thoughts:
This series was amazing! Calix and Nova had such perfect chemistry together, I loved both characters.

Also, I loved Ms. Carbonneau's voice; she says she pours a lot of herself into the characters of her books and they seem so down to earth and real to me. The realistic details and heartfelt emotions conveyed throughout the story really increased my enjoyment of this series. Superbly done, Ms. Carbonneau!

So i began this trilogy with a Love Hate relationship for Calix, he was a conundrum to me, I love an alpha who is possessive, nothing more appeals to me than this in a leading character, but Calix is a panther... He has crept around for 2 years and watched Nova, he knows everything there is about to know of Nova....

The last book left us hanging on a cliff edge and book 3 takes off right from where we want it too, Nova can't breath, she can't live with Calix, her captor... Her Captor that took her from her bed and captured her heart in the process... All she wants is to be back in her captors arms, back home..

Being back where she belongs, Calix knows he will have to lay his life on the line to keep her, Nova is setting him free from the darkness and Calix needs the light and warmth to beat down on him that Nova has brought him. With blue eyes like the Carribean sea Nova sees the light and sparkle in his eyes and knows this is where she belongs with him...

The shadow of what they have done looms over them, clouds begin to creep over them and one frightful night things turn bad, and when 2 enemies come face to face Nova is in the wrong place....

This dark erotica romance novel is not a tame read, it will leave you frustrated, captivated and wanting to turn the pages quicker than you can say 'Divided Souls'

The Perfect Conclusion to an Incredible Series

Having read Captured Miracle and Bleeding Heart, I counted the days for the release of Divided Souls, and I'm thrilled to say, the author wrote the perfect conclusion for this incredible Dark Erotic Romance series.

In Captured Miracle we see how Nova's life is turned upside-down after her abduction, and how she falls deeply in love with her captor Calix.

In Bleeding Heart we see Nova and Calix's relationship put to the test when Nova returns home with more than she bargained for before she was taken from her home.

Now, in Divided Souls, we see Nova's determination to return "home" and back into the arms of the other half of her soul, and there are many twists and turns along the way that keep you guessing until the very end. And... I wasn't expecting to read something in Calix's point of view, and was delighted to come across that surprise!

I have read 90% of the author's existing catalogue. I can honestly say this series is my second favorite from this author. The writing is flawless, and perfectly crafted. The emotional scenes tug at your heartstrings, and in moments of triumph my heart soared. The author's writing style is honest yet reflective, deep yet awe-inspiring, dark, and deliciously intriguing.

Do yourself a favor. Read the entire series and read this book.

Five Stars. Brava.

Wow! I really couldn't wait to read this book, especially after the cliffhanger in book 2! This one did not disappoint at all...i have loved this series so much, it is a shame it has now ended but what a great ending it was!
To be honest I wasn't 100% sold on Calix until probably some time in book 2 but he more than made up for it in this book. You can feel the love he and Nova have, they cannot live without each other and definitely meant to be...no matter what the circumstances were that brought them together.
They had a lot of rough times to face in this final book, several times i'm sure my heart stopped completely! lol
It was an amazing end to such a great series..loved that there was a bit of Calix's POV in it too. He definitely softened more as the story went on and this was all due to Nova.
They really are great together and this is proved several times! An amazing series and I highly recommend it!!

This could have been combined with the second book bc nothing happened for most of the story. It isn't until the end that there is anything dramatic. This was my complaint about the second books as well. Anyway, I was a little annoyed with the h bc her emotions would cycle btw loving and adoring the H to being angry and resentful. The H was annoyingly controlling sometimes. Furthermore, I had issues with the dialogue in this series. It tended to be stilted.

***SPOILERS***

Well, I can’t really say Alannah Carbonneau leaves you on a cliffhanger for the last book in the Captured Miracle Series. 😂

In Divided Souls #3 Nova and Calix are married and are expecting their first child. But will Nova’s family turn her away from Calix? Will Calix let Nova go? Will Nova and Calix get their happily ever after???

I actually was a bit disappointed with how Divided Souls ended. I felt like it was a bit rushed. Or maybe that’s because I didn’t want it to end. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I found that Alannah Carbonneau wrote a good story!

The whole series of this story was very good. I enjoyed reading this book series. I liked both Calix and Nova, although they annoyed me at times. This book had a lot of the troupes I like very much. I felt the love and chemistry both Calix and Nova had for each other. I'm so glad it had a happy ending. So far I really like reading this author's books.

~~~~~AMAZING SERIES ~~~~~
I was a mixed bag of emotions reading this last book in the Captured Miracle series.
I absolutely couldn't wait for this book after reading the first two books in the trilogy, so one of the primary emotions was excitement after my anticipation had been built up into fan girl frenzy. All the while though I can remember feeling a sort of sadness along side the excitement because I knew the story was coming to an end and I wasn't ready to let the characters go.
This being said when I finally turned that last page I felt a sense of satisfaction wash over me, the way in which this author concludes the journey of the characters is simply wonderful and very fulfilling.
The characters of Calix and Nova change so much throughout their journey, they grow and evolve in themselves and as a partnership.They also discover they were only half a being.
Half the person they thought they were, half an existence and they each had half the heart that beat in their chests......until Calix kidnapped Nova and two halves of the heart started beating in sync with each other making them whole.
Even though this is a dark series and in the beginning Calix comes across as the bad wolf stealing the lamb, it's very interesting to see the way they evolve to need one another.
This will have you feeling one way then totally make you overhaul your thoughts to the story in the space of a few chapters.
It had me tense, knotted and wary form the very beginning and I loved every inch of the journey. This is a series I will read again and again.
Well done Ms Carbonneau
Not a fan of these books. None of the characters had any depth. They fell flat, their confrontations juvenile and nothing was a surprise. I could see where the author was going from stage one and nothing surprised me. All of the books were predictable.
Wouldn't recommend.
Never thought I could find a series that reminds me of Anna Zaires lovely story of Julian and Nora's dark love story. In reading this series I could not put it down and loved how I didn't have to wait for the next book. Characters were awesome and felt the emotions and the love Nova had for the Hero. So yes this book was worth reading.
sorry. i'm not a fan of this trilogy. After 3 books, I can daresay it's not for me. Maybe for other people because people have different favoritism. The start, the middle and the end is kind of rush and too simple and too bland for me. Too easily solved issue.
Conclusion
Very good ending. I could feel the love coming off these 2 in waves. I loved how protective Calix was over Nova but he wasn't too overbearing. Can't wait to read more by this author.
