Review of advanced copy received.

I'm sorry, I really didn't want to be the first person to give a negative review. However, this book was just not for me and I had to DNF it. I was cringing the entire time I read it and the though of having to pick it up and read more just made me not want to read anything today. I really wanted a fun, chill and unserious book however this book took that to a whole other level of unserious. The first couple pages of the second chapter had me saying "WTF?!" in a bad way the entire time, and the amount of times I had to read about Tiktok was near a brain rotting amount. I also didn't like how some of the wording for things came off in the first chapter when describing the mermaid character. All together the writing just wasn't there for me and I couldn't finish the book so it gets a 1 star from me. Hopefully this book will find it's intended audience and they will enjoy every minute of it!

Excellent second book by Juliet Brooks! Always love reading a book with Dr. Kitten. The cat cafe sounds fun!
