Such a fun read, I absolutely devoured it. It would make such a fantastic movie!

This was the perfect easy, escapist read that pulled me in from the first page. I devoured this in one sitting.
Victoria is at a crossroads. She’s going through a separation from her fiancé, who she was trying to have a baby with, and feels like life as she thought she knew it is over. When a letter arrives from a lawyer in Argentina telling her she’s inherited a vineyard, she’s shocked, but it might present the perfect escape while she figures out her next steps. Victoria always knew she was adopted, and her parents have always encouraged her to speak Spanish as they knew she had Argentinian roots, but that’s as far as her biological family knowledge went, until now. When she gets to Mendoza she finds a beautiful villa that needs renovating, but a barren vineyard that hasn’t produced any grapes for decades, supposedly because of a curse that runs though the women in her family. As she learns about her family history, she seems to undo the curse as she unlocks secrets. She also meets people that knew her mother and grandmother, and there’s also winemaker Dev who happens to be easy on the eyes…
Victoria’s journey to Argentina was wonderful to see unfold - I love a good family backstory and seeing her find out her biological roots while still having an amazing relationship with her adoptive parents was gorgeous. The magical elements to this were done so well - not fantastical or over the top at all and they just added something special to the story. The side characters were all fabulous too - such a mix of different personalities that just made it so fun! This is my first book by this author but it certainly won’t be my last! Highly recommend! I enjoyed The Secrets of the Lost Vineyard.
It was a light and easy read with a nice mix of family secrets and romance. The vineyard setting was lovely, and I especially thought Pia was a cute character who added a lot of charm to the story.
While some parts felt a little predictable, it was still an enjoyable read overall.
