Lila is 28 years old and in her first year as an Assistant Professor in the Criminology Department at Smokey Mountain State University. On her first day of the winter semester, she meets her student Jace, who happens to be a guy that she has been chatting up on Tinder.
Jace is 27 years old and did a stint in the Army first before attending college on the Army's dime. Never did ge expect for the hot girl he's been texting to wond up being his professor!
Brock is 26 years old and on his second round of attempting to attend college. The first attempt result in his dropping out due to a family emergency. With aspirations of becoming a detective, he's enrolled in Lila's class. He gets to know her through her weekly happy hour stop at the bar he works at. The more he talks with her outside of class, the more he's taken by her.
Camden is 21 years old with a Batman complex. If he hears of someone whose life could benefit from his hacker extraordinaire skills, he doesn't hesitate to lend a hand. When Lola approaches him asking for his help, there's no way that he wouldn't bend over backwards to lend a hand. She's hot, his professor, and has dirt on him he would hate to get out. As he gets to know her, he realizes that she's totally cool and very possibly the woman of his dreams.
As Lila gets to know each of her three students better she finds that she's unable to stop thinking of them. She's attracted to each of them but the school's policy strictly prohibits teacher/ student dating. Will they be able to navigate through the semester without tasting the forbidden fruit?
This story explores the teacher/student power play with the main female character holding all the power. It's tab@o and extremely hot. The characters are well developed, likeable and I couldn't help finding myself cheering for these three to make it through the semester without getting caught. It's a fun n@ughty reads and the perfect book to spend a cold Winter's night reading.

Teacher's Pet is the latest installment of RH novels from Team Cole. I always wonder how the RH and Hockey Romance genres aren't considered erotica, but I get that having a polyamorous HEA can inoculate those books from receiving the "genre label of shame" thanks to the way Kindle's AI bots are programmed. Still, Teacher's Pet is about as raunchy as a widely-distributed book can get.
As for the story, it started out pretty well. The FMC (the beautiful young professor) and MMC (her older GI Bill student) are appealing, attractive, and bursting with hormones. Early on, these two enjoy some steamy fun in her office. But of course, the FMC suffers on-going angst over getting caught and fired by her university because she can't keep her hormones under control.
But, this is a RH book and the rules of engagement call for having not one, but three studs (well, in this case two and a half). So we get introduced to a part-time bartender and a young hacker (who are also her students) joining her harem. Once the author finally has her full roster in place, then the story follows the predictable formula used for most all RH novels. And yes, the readers are served a strong dose of X-rated kinky sex.
I gave this one 3-stars because the writing quality is good and the two MC's are appealing. But the formulaic story and predictable ending were a letdown.

I was hooked from the start when Lila finds that one of her new students Jace is the hot guy she's been seeing on Tinder but now any relationship between them could never happen however there is a strong pull of sexual attraction that they cannot stop. When she goes to a bar after work she sees Brock another of her hot students works there who is also friends with Jace which leads to some extremely steamy times between her & Brock then with Jace aswell.
She also starts a friendship with Cam who unlike Brock & Jace who are older students more around her age Cam is younger but is just as mature as the others. We get to some of Cam's computer genius which has you laughing but there's also some serious action he has to do.
We see the four grow from more than just mega hot sex & how they navigate their forbidden relationship & if there is a future for them.
Once you start this you won't want to put it down & I am so jealous of Lila.

The tension between Brock and Lila is so real!
The car ride with Brock and Jace was such good insight into their feelings towards Lila and the situation they were about to find themselves in👀
I swear every Cassie Cole book just gets better and better! The characters are beautifully developed, the storyline is clear and easy to follow, and it’s the perfect amount of spice and content! Sometimes we like a book that’s solely spice but this has depth to the story that makes her a standout author for me.

I couldn’t put it down.
It’s truly binge worthy.
Lila is a criminology professor at a university and at the beginning of the semester a student walks in her class and she recognizes him that they’ve matched on tinder and have insane chemistry.
But for Lila that screams trouble. Trouble because she’s his college professor, but Jace was a goner and he’s relentless in his pursuit of Lila and as that unfolds so do two other unexpected relationships added to their mix.
Loved it. Couldn’t get enough of it, kinda wish we had more or like a future epilogue to see where they are now.
Anyways great story. I received an arc copy for a completely honest review.

Another wonderful harem story by Cassie Cole that entertained me thoroughly. Our characters were wonderfully depicted and engaging as Lila struggles with her dilemma. This delightful book is about Professor Lila Carrington who's looking forward teaching Criminology 101 this year from being an assistant professor last year and three students who are taking her class. Our yummy guys are Brock, Cam, and Jace. Jace a ex-Army who she met and matched online on Tinder who's using his GI Bill for a chance to be in the FBI, Brock a former basketball college student and is now back to finish his college degree and Cam our youngest student who hacked the school's superintendent computer to find proof he was embezzling school funds. What ensues is an engaging story with steamy romance and drama as Lila falls for them. Will Lila get fired since being with a student is forbidden by the college? I'd volunteer to read and review this enjoyable copy I'd received.

This book is hot! Jace was the first obvious guy for Lila. They kinda met before she became his professor on tinder. His pursuit of Lila was almost as sexy as their sexy time time together. Brock became obvious when she started spending every Friday at his work. Cam was kinda of a surprise. Jace and Brock are close to Lila's age whereas Cam is a bit younger. I loved how the blackmailing was taken care of. And that the 3 guys were all about Lila and not jealous of each other.

finally a reverse age gap RH!!
First, thank you Cassie Cole for writing a reverse age gap reverse harem!! You hardly see reverse age gap better yet in RHs. I liked all of the characters and my only complaint would be I actually wanted more of the characters getting to know each other and being together to build the relationships more. But all in all a good book.

Assistant Professor Lila realises she knows one of her students from outside of class from using a dating app. It'd not just Jace though with two other students, Brock and Camden making her take notice too. A steamy why choose with a touch of age gap and forbidden/off limits too.

I really enjoyed reading this story about Professor Lila Carrington is an associate professor of criminology at the university. On the first day of school, she realises that the person that she had been texting on Tinder is one of her students, Jace, she is determined that they are not going to enter enter a relationship because she is his professor and she could lose her job. Not only is she drawn to Jase, but she is also drawn to his friend Brock and another student Camden. I enjoyed how this relationship developed until eventually the semester was over, and they were free to be together. That it will be a HEA, but it is one for now.

Cassie Cole never disappoints. I enjoyed this story about Lila and what a strong character she is. You can't help but fall in love with Jace, Brock, and Cam also. The diversity between the guys just adds even more to their dynamic.
