A Snowvale Howlers Omegaverse Novel
A Standalone Reverse Harem Hockey Romance

Wren Foster plays by her own rules. As the PR manager for the Snowvale Howlers—the league’s most brutal pro hockey team—she’s the only omega in a den of alphas… and no one is supposed to know. Her secret is held together with black-market suppressants and sheer willpower.

But suppressants fail.
Instinct doesn’t.

When a dangerous heat hits, Wren escapes to a remote cabin to ride it out alone. No bonds. No witnesses.

Except three already know her scent.

Her stoic captain.
A dangerously charming goalie.
And an ice-cold beta with secrets of his own.

They follow her into the storm—masked, feral, and primal.

What begins as a heat becomes a hunt.
And survival means choosing more than just herself.

Because being claimed by three isn’t about surrender.
It’s about choice—and the fiercest kind of love.

A standalone slow-to-medium burn Omegaverse romance featuring reverse harem / why choose, paranormal romance, hockey romance, forced proximity, primal chase, winter isolation, and a scorching polyamorous romance endgame.

I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

I am just not liking this one. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad book, but the pacing is so ✨off✨ that I just can’t get into it. It’s like we started in the middle, and I hate that.
Plus there were little moments that made me seriously go ‘What??!’. Like, what do you Mean, end of season ‘Orgy’?? Literally. What?? And that you immediately call the woman you sometimes hook up with for a favor? Ew.
And those were just weird, casually mentioned things.
Almost a third of the way into the book and I seriously couldn’t care less about these characters, so I’m just gonna put it down before it pisses me off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🌶️ Unknown (I skipped from 65% to 88%, so my rating would be inaccurate.)

First, I just want to say that I think it's amazing and incredibly cool that Long decided to take a dip into the Omegaverse world. As an avid OV reader, this thrilled me. I've been wanting to read from Heather for a long time, but her series are too long, so I've been putting them off. So, of course, I had to jump on the opportunity to read this. Regardless of how I feel about the book, I believe you should still give it a shot because it might be exactly what you're looking for. If you're anything like me, sometimes reviews push me to not want to read a book, and I don't want you to take mine as such. Enjoy the book, give it a chance. It just wasn't for me, and that's okay. 🖤

- I liked the MMC's, especially Jay. There's just something about a silent, alpha energy, beta that gets me every time.
- The primal chase. I'm a sucker for it, sue me lol!

- The world is not something I've experienced before as an OV reader. It's expected to see changes and differences with different authors, but there was just a bit of confusion and hesitation on how I felt about specific things. For instance, they bite her in the first primal chase as a claiming, but it's not a full bond. They then proceed to actually bond her at the end of the book. I've never read it to where you bite twice for it to take. Another is the scent descriptions. I couldn't outright figure out what their scents were, (ie. Cedar, or Cupake, or Bologna lol just using these as examples). They were detailed and changed each time described. "Crisp ozone and ink and something sharper, something male and grounding." There was no definitive "scent match." It was just a repetitive "a deep feeling in the chest" or another weirdly, too elaborate, phrase to describe the pull between each other. I also thought it was strange that she was still called to Rylan even if she didn't want to be. It made it seem like he was scent compatible or in loose terms of a scent match. Now, I understand that authors create their own worlds. It's just not what I was expecting, I guess.
- To piggyback off the repetitive mention, everything was just worded weirdly or so heavily repeated that it seemed like a soundtrack was stuck on repeat and would not let up. Primal, raw, fog, "something ___", etc. was so heavily emphasized throughout the book, it almost seems unreal that I read it. I don't even know if that makes sense, but it was a high repetition that this book could have been cut in half to understand everything more clearly. Due to the repeated phrases and OTT descriptions, it just left me mostly confused.

this is heather’s first OV book and i think this was solid 4 star read

i liked how ferocious the fmc was in her work as a PR for the team, how she didn’t back down and had alpha energy even though she had been hiding as an omega for 10+ years

the mmcs are pretty great, roan gives stability, jay gives wisdom and rhett gives a soft place to land, and you can differentiate them from the getgo

this book is solely focused on building their relationship and trying to make it solid without it being forced, respecting boundaries and how to navigate things after the heat happens

however, it’s fair to say that i felt the book dragged from like 30% to 60%, bc it was very focused on the “what ifs” and the unresolved and bottled up feelings and restraints they all had, so it felt a bit repetitive to me atp

after this particular mark, i felt that we got the groove back and i was able to fully enjoy the story — the pace was better and although the main focus was the relationship still, we got the outside world too and how they made it work when real life starts again

another point that made me give this a 4 is that i needed *more* specifics from this OV world, because it was briefly mentioned in the beginning of the book but i feel like we could have more info about it, especially about omegas in the workforce, how packs were formed if they are formed, what is normal, what isn’t normal and what is frowned upon.

i also missed how wren’s designation was felt by the team as a whole… so i guess maybe i needed more side characters input or a inner thought or conclusion from the mmcs or wren herself about what was new.

either way, i had fun reading this and i expect her next OV to be more polished and intricate :)

I’m an omegaverse lover and a Heather Long lover, so this is right up my alley. I was so excited when the announcement came, and Knot On Your Pucking Life delivers. Wren, the FMC, is a badass head of PR with a sharp wit, a quick tongue and an iron spine. She instills a whole lot of awe with a side of fear, and we all know that men who are a little bit scared of their woman make the best partners. Roan, Rhett and Jay make a wonderful combination, and I loved the way they view each other’s worth and complement in personalities. They’re so good to and for Wren as well, and she keeps her strong personality throughout their story. I’m going to be honest though, I don’t think I’ve ever read an omegaverse with emotions this tumultuously intense - this story takes you on a ride, that’s for certain.

The storyline grabbed me from the first chapter and didn’t let go until a while after reading. Quite often, omegaverse is a wholesome love story, but the storyline played a rather big role and the story wasn’t just over and done with a happily ever after right after a heat together, and I really appreciated that. Wren is a force of nature and I loved seeing her in her element, as an absolute powerhouse, and I loved that she was the pivotal figure all throughout the book. I cannot wait for more Heather Long omegaverse!

Heather’s first omegaverse!! I loved it! Wren is the head of PR for the Snowvale Howlers hockey team. She has been on suppressants for years and hiding her Omega biology, but they are starting to fail and she is heading into a brutal heat. She escapes to a remote cabin to ride out her heat alone, but her absence hasn’t gone unnoticed. She is the backbone of the team. She is fierce in protecting the team and the players. So, it’s no surprise when three of the players decide to (finally) go after what they want (her). I loved how this story really focused on Wren as a woman and character, rather than just her Omega biology. She fought her designation for so long, and Roen, Rhett and Jay made sure they never took away her choice or her will. They made a fantastic team, on and off the ice. I hope to see more omegaverses in Heather’s future!!

Thank you Heather Long for the ARC!

I love Omegaverse books and Heather Long writing her first one?? Ummm, yes please! This book is so good. You have three hot hockey players, two are Alphas and one a Beta, and a pr for their team that is keeping a secret, what more could you ask for!

Wren is fierce and strong and definitely holds her own around all these men. Makes hard for her to ask for help at all.

Roan the captain, Rhett the flirty one, and Jay the observer, all notice Wren and with that know something is going on with her.

What happens when secrets are found out and feelings start getting involved? Read this to find out what happens!

I love Heather Long's writing and was excited to read her first Omegaverse romance. I'm not usually a sports romance reader, but this book was very character focused, which I was grateful for because I know nothing about hockey.

Wren is the PR manager for the Snowvale Howlers. She is incredible at her job and strives to keep everything professional between her and the players. As an omega surrounded by alphas and betas, she uses suppressants to keep her secret. It becomes more difficult to keep her distance as the suppressants start to fail and her heat begins. Especially with three very observant players in particular Roan, Jay, and Rhett. They have always respected Wren's boundaries and will continue to do so, but if she is struggling and they can help, they want to be there for her. In any way she needs.

Fun hockey RH Omegaverse
For her first foray into Omegaverse this is pretty good! Heather always writes really well with strong characters and this is the basis for this story 😀 it’s very much focused on relationship development as our PR manager FMC tries to hide her omega nature from the team, yet her oncoming heat forces some changes on how the way her hockey team reacts to her, particularly two alphas and a beta 😅 the pace in the middle slows down a little as there’s a lot of what if considered between them. But there’s plenty of heat and connection between them 😍

First omegaverse from Heather Long and first hockey romance. Even the first standalone of hers I think I've read in a while. Not bad all told. Lots of good plot twists and development. Great dialogue and character banter. Maybe only missing the usual depth of character development as in her series but still a relatable and likeable group of characters. Great stuff!

I’ve always enjoy story featuring a strong woman and men who respect them for their strength plus it is an omegaverse! Wren’s men were so soon worthy. 🫠 Roan, alpha, dominant but respectful of boundaries. Jay, beta, peacemaker and caretaker and Rhett, alpha, was a golden retriever and impulsive.
The story tugged on my emotions in a good way and was so heartwarming. It is a hockey story so a lot of cheering and yelling was involved. It was an absolute delight to read.

This is a complete standalone featuring:
* reverse harem / why choose
* hockey romance
* omegaverse dynamics
* winter isolation
* primal chase
* found family
* and a fiercely independent heroine who refuses to be defined by instinct alone

What a great plunge into OV for Heather Long!!! I loved the characters and the dynamics. When was anything but prey - oh no, she is in fact the heart, soul, brains and spine of steel for the Howlers. Roan was the main Alpha and he was string yet sweet. Rhett is her sunshine alpha who will turn feral in her defense. Then there's Jay - the one sees her, who always sees her. It was so cute, sexy and just an awesome read.

This wasn’t like any omegaverse I’ve read before. It didn’t really feel like an omegaverse. And I’ve never heard of an omega being bitten and not bonded and then bitten again and bonded.
I enjoyed the story overall but it didn’t read like an omegaverse and most of the time was overly descriptive. I also would have loved more about the scents

📚 Knot On Your Pucking Life by Heather Long
Series: Snowvale Howlers Omegaverse #1
Genre: Omegaverse | Hockey romance | Why choose
Vibes: secret omega, hockey team dynamics, winter isolation, primal tension, fierce FMC

If you love omegaverse and hockey romance, this one absolutely delivers. Heather Long dives into the Snowvale Howlers world with a story that’s intense, emotional, and packed with character driven tension.

Wren Foster is the PR manager for the Snowvale Howlers, AKA one of the most brutal pro hockey teams in the league. She’s sharp, powerful, and the backbone of the organization.

There’s just one problem.

She’s an omega… and no one can know.

What makes this book stand out:

🏒 A fierce FMC who runs the PR department like a force of nature
🖤 Secret omega hiding in a den of alphas
❄️ A remote winter cabin and forced proximity chaos
🔥 Three very different men who refuse to let her face everything alone
👑 A strong focus on Wren’s autonomy, power, and choices

Wren is easily the star of the story. She’s witty, intimidating, and unapologetically strong. The men - Roan, Rhett, and Jay - each bring something different to the dynamic, and the way their personalities complement each other creates a really engaging relationship structure.

One thing that really stands out is that the story isn’t just about the heat or the romance. The plot actually matters. Wren’s identity, her leadership within the team, and her struggle with hiding her omega biology are central to the narrative.

And the emotional intensity? Off the charts.

This book takes you on a ride and keeps the focus on Wren as a fully realized character rather than reducing her to just her designation. Watching her hold onto her independence while building something with these men makes the story feel layered and satisfying.

If you love:

🏒 Hockey romance
🖤 Why choose dynamics
❄️ Winter isolation vibes
🔥 Strong FMC energy
🐺 Omegaverse with real emotional stakes

…this is absolutely one to pick up.

💬 Are you an omegaverse reader, or are you just getting pulled into the genre?

Ice hockey romance is so hot right now and when you add in Omegaverse, holy smokes!!!! Recipe for success!!! Wren is a no nonsense, successful woman in a mostly male dominated industry, which she absolutely nails like a boss. Her love interests, Roan, Rhett and Jay are 3 of the star players for the Howlers, the team she is head of PR for.

In the beginning of the story it isn't outwardly obvious what Wren's designation is, and I quite enjoyed that she doesn't follow the typical standard, as she purposely supresses her true self. But as with anything, nature always wins and Wren unravels fast. I'm not really sure what it is about the designation aspect of omegaverse but it totally fascinates me. Maybe it's being reduced to the more baser, feral needs in times of heat, potentially losing all sense of self and giving into something you might normally deny yourself. Or maybe having 2 hot alphas and a hot beta making your blood boil that might also have something to do with it.

I got the impression that Wren has been at the Howlers for years and therefore has known the guys for a good long while. Maybe I missed something in the beginning so it could just be me and could totally be wrong, but I was a little surprised that Wren and the guys didn't immediately appear to have that instinctual connection that would make one suspect they were a pack from the get go. Yes, they all admitted to feeling something but to me, it initially came across more as deep respect and admiration. A more platonic feeling and not so much as her being their chosen one and wanting to bond her. I feel like regardless of her designation or circumstances, that instinctual knowledge should have been there from the start and not really something that could be ignored or put off for such a long period of time. With this appearing like it will become a series, I do feel like there needs to be more explanation of designations and pack dynamics in future books.

If it does become a series, and I really hope it does, I'm looking forward to seeing where this new world goes.x

I love omegaverse, and I also love a Heather Long STANDALONE, so I was excited to read her first foray in OV and delighted to see the series is full of standalones. Yay for no cliffhangers! And Knot On Your Pucking Life did not disappoint. Heather's take on OV was different than come canons, but still full of all the heat and emotion I love in OV.

Wren is the kind of heroine I will always show up for and that Heather excels at writing. She runs PR like a general runs an army, sharp, strategic, and completely unshakable. She is witty, intimidating, and fully aware of her power. The kind of woman who commands respect the moment she walks into a room. And honestly, a little fear in her men only makes the dynamic better.

Roan, Rhett, and Jay balance each other beautifully. Their personalities click in a way that feels intentional and layered, and I loved how much they value one another instead of competing for space. More importantly, they show up for Wren. They support her strength rather than trying to soften it, and she never loses herself for the sake of the relationship. She stays bold, driven, and unapologetically in control from beginning to end.

This is a Heather Long book...so this isn't a touchy feely/only sweet OV. There's plenty of big feelings. The feelings are big. Messy. Volatile. It is not just heat and bonding and then a tidy happily ever after. The plot carries real weight, and the stakes extend far beyond a single cycle. The story actually breathes and builds instead of wrapping everything up too neatly.

Wren is the center of it all, a true force of nature, and watching her dominate both professionally and personally was deeply satisfying. If this is the direction Heather Long is taking her omegaverse, I am absolutely ready for more.

Those who are huge OV readers, like me, will know that each author has their own take. So just know that going on- some of this is "cannon" OV and some of this is a bit more of Heather's own take on it. But the vibes are there.

Ok let me start by saying that I have been a HUGE Heather Long fan for like EVER! I was so shocked when I heard about this book, and a bit confused lol. This is Heather's first foray into omegaverse  but let me tell you she NAILED IT!

Most of the Omegaverse books I've read are typically about damaged omegas who are just trying to survive, with Alphahole Alphas who eventually show their sweet side...

That is not this book! This story is about a good pack of Alphas and a beta who want nothing more than to take care of their omega. CONSENT IS A MUST!! They recognize her as a boss from the beginning and accept and admire her for her strength which I absolutely loved!

This is a standalone story about Wren, She was the head of PR for the guys' hockey team, hiding her omega status with the use suppressants to keep her secret. she has major alpha energy even though she has been hiding as an omega for years! When her suppressants start to fail and her heat begins, she goes on leave to hide out until it passes. Only this cause a few players to worry!

Roan, Rhett, and Jay are  swoonworthy. They are two alphas and a beta that play for her team. They are drawn to her  and respect the fact that she is a strong independent women. They become really concerned when she is missing for a little while and decide to go and see if they can help... and help they do!

This story is really heart warming with a woman not used to trusting people enough to lean on, and three delicious men who complement each others personalities perfectly and show her that taking that leap of faith is worth it!

I Definitely recommend this book!

What do you get when you mix hockey, omega Verse, and why choose? The spicy goodness that is “Knot On Your Pucking Life.” This book completely surprised me in the best way possible. Wren is an absolute powerhouse FMC. She is a sharp, no-nonsense PR manager for a professional hockey team who refuses to let anyone underestimate her. She’s built her career by staying in control, even while hiding a part of herself she’s been taught could cost her everything. Roan, Rhett, and Jay, our MMC’s, are three very different players on the team she is a PR manager for. They see Wren exactly as she is and respect her boundaries long before anything turns romantic. The dynamic between them is layered and intentional. They provide steady leadership, chaotic intensity, and quiet precision all balancing each other beautifully.
What really made this shine was the care woven into every interaction. Consent is front and center, support is constant (sometimes silent, sometimes fierce), and the found-family vibes are strong. The omegaverse elements bring the heat, but they never overshadow Wren’s agency or the story itself. Add in snowy settings, fully integrated hockey action, and just enough slow burn to make it satisfying, and you’ve got a fun, addictive read that I flew through. I would’ve loved a bit more world building and character backstories, but honestly…. I’m just hoping this isn’t the last time we visit this world.

This is book one in this authors New series Snowvale Bowlers Omegaverse and is a standalone.

What to expect

💙Hockey romance
💙Why choose
💙Slow burn
💙One bed
💙Primal Chase
💙Found family

Wren is a badass and is the head of the PR company for the team and she's a force to be reckoned with for sure. But she's keeping who she really is very close to her chest and without the suppressants it's getting really difficult for her.
Rhett, Jay and Roan are all part of the team and all have different personalities and bring something different to the dynamic. They really connect with Wren and know she is a alpha female boss. So when she goes away for a bit they get worried.

This is my first omegaverse and it definitely won't be the last. I really enjoyed reading this book and the way this author written the story and the characters really pulled me in.
I loved Wren's character and how she was, I love her strong, fierce personality and how she is determined and totally respected. I absolutely love all these characters together and how the guys really take care of Wren and completely respect her consent too. The chemistry between them all is electric and you can literally feel it all building between them all.

I love the storyline and I love how this book made you feel all the emotions and this author brought this story to life. It has angst and humour and is intense at times in a good way. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I love omegaverse and was keen to see Heather Long's take on the genre. What I found really interesting was that this was a chosen mate connection rather than fated mates/bonds. Sometimes in an omegaverse the insta-connection takes over but here the characters have all known each other for years and the attraction was already there before biology got involved. There is still some sort of underlying connection there but the found family/pack element is definitely the focus. The Rylan plot also did not go the way I thought either which was a great twist.

I loved how driven and competent Wren was; her job is such a big part of her character and I liked seeing her in action rather than the romance being the sole focus. Seeing her stand up to Marchand was such a highlight. Similarly with the MMCs, the hockey scenes were written really well and didn't all happen off page with time jumps. The MMCs are very different characters but Rhett probably stood out to me the most (although Roan is my usual type); I liked him from the get go and by the time he was a passenger prince (IYKYK) he was firmly my favourite!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

I really enjoyed Heather Long's newest story and her first foray into Omegaverse! This is a standalone story about Wren, a PR for the Howler's hockey team. She's been suppressing her omega side for years to make sure her boss side is always front and center especially when working with a bunch of Alphas. This doesn't a couple players on the team from being drawn to her and to always appreciate her boss side. However, with the playoffs coming up, it's unfortunately at the same time Wren needs to run away for a few days to have her heat. Roan, Rhett and Jay follow her to make sure she's ok. I loved all the care Heather put in to making sure that consent was always followed for all the steamy moments that followed. You could see how this quad cared for each other, respected each other and made a true found family. Being new to Omegaverse, and having each OV have there own unique rules, I felt there was worldbuilding that could've helped with understanding packs, marks, as well as more about why Wren felt she needed to suppress her omega side for so long. There's so much to work with I really hope Heather continues to write in this world because I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Really enjoyed this story! It is a VERY smexy story. This was also my first Omegaverse and without much information about that, I was a wee bit confused. The story helped, though, so don’t let it cause any worry. Wren Foster is a, let’s call it a repressed Omega, and is head of PR for the Howlers hockey team. Dang, she is great at her job! Roan Whitaker and Rhett Navarro are alphas on the team (Roan is the Captain) and Jay Kim is a beta – also on the team.

The story is about the four of them becoming a quad and the fight that they have with their own feelings, society’s norms, and the rest of the world. What I loved about it was Wren was SO strong, even when she felt all her control, and decisions, were taken away from her because of her being an Omega and life’s norms for all of them. And the guys, especially TWO Alphas, always made it her choice about what happened next. Their Beta, Jay, was a calming influence and really made the four of them work.

The relationship buildup was it for me. You’ll have to read the story to get this reference but Boots had it goin’ on!

Wren Foster is not about to allow being an Omega to dictate her life. She is a successful woman. She is the PR manager for a professional hockey team, the Howlers, and she's great at it. With the aid of black-market suppressants, no one even knows she's an omega. Unfortunately, that's about to change since her suppressants are failing. But she has a plan. She's going to ride out her heat in secret, hidden away at a remote cabin. And when she returns, she's going to solve her team's latest PR crisis before they dominate the playoffs. Except it doesn't go as planned. Three players know her. Want her. Follow her. And hunt her.

As an OV addict, I was thrilled Heather Long decided to venture into the Omegaverse. As one of my favorite authors, this was a match made in heaven. It was not your run-of-the-mill OV. The result was mixed. I love the hockey world it was set in. The characters were all well-developed. Wren was a beautiful, intelligent powerhouse. I loved the fact that Wren was not willing to settle. My favorite scenes were her at work, taking control. There was no compromise in this woman. She wanted what she wanted and was determined to be successful. I loved that the men never asked her to change. They not only supported her but also admired her. Her level of professionalism and skill was a turn-on for them. Roan, Rhett, and Jay were the perfect balance of steady leadership, chaos, and quiet deliberation. But the pacing was odd. Momentum stalled out, and it became wordy. Once back on track, it never looked back. The sexual tension and build-up were phenomenal. For the reader who enjoys primal play, this is the read for you.

This book was Heather's first foray into Omegaverse and it was a solid 4 stars.

Wren shined as a strong, in control, no nonsense PR Head of the Howlers Hockey organization. She gave off strong Alpha vibes, a force to be reckoned with, with a huge secret she's spent years suppressing.

Roan Whitaker, Rhett Navarro, and Jay Kim are star players for the Howlers, 2 Alphas and a Beta respectively. Roan is a steady, responsible team captain who leads his team in a way few others can. Rhett is a wild card, strong but edgy, with a penchant for showy moves and poor decisions. Jay is calm and does things with surgical precision, he's always watching and is a calming presence in their organization.

Heather brought this story to life with humor, lots of snow and hockey, what a combination. This was a fun, quick read with tropes including reverse harem, cock-warming, one bed, primal chasing, knotting, and somewhat of a slow burn.

I highly recommend this tale, and can't wait to see what else Heather comes up with in the supernatural Omegaverse world.

really great book!

Definitely a must read if you like reverse harem/ omegaverse things. I absolutely loved everything about it. The consent every step of the way was amazing and not even a hint of non-con was presented even with the primal play happening. I love love the fmc, she completely bad ass and can take care of herself and job + team. It’s such a healthy balance between her and the guys. They love and adore her because she’s who she is, personality and all. The author did such a great job introducing the male characters and you can really separated them in your head and know their true personality’s.

A lot of time in these reverse harem books the guys can kinda blend together and 1 guy is alot like the next. ( don’t get me started on the whole popular movement with reverse Harem books including twins things. Like whyyy) but anyways running off on a rant. Nothing like that happens in this book it was fantastic and you really get to know each character and get attached. This is the first book I read by the author and will be definitely checking out more.

Heather knocked this omegaverse outta the park!!!

Knot on Your Pucking Life is a standalone in the Snowvale Howlers world. This is a slow burn why choose omegaverse hockey romance with forced proximity, primal, winter isolation and a scorching polyamorous romance endgame.

The way I absolutely DEVOURED THIS BOOK!!!

Wren is our FMC and she is the public relations manager for the Howlers Hockey team. She also hides that she is an omega by taking suppressants, that are horrible for her body.

Rhett and Roan are alphas and Jay is a beta that has alpha energy. They play on the team but also pay attention to Wren. When something happens and she is gone, they won't stop until they find out if she is okay.

Heather did so dang well with her first hockey romance and omegaverse romance!!! I love this book so very much and can not wait for more in this world!

This is definitely a must read!!!!

OMG I wanted to scream about this book from the rooftops. In a good way.

This book hit me and I did not know how to respond. This was not dark but it was raw and unapologetic and just plain good. This was Heather's first foray into omegaverse and I am here for it. If she wants to take a run at more I would gladly drop everything and read it. She took the basic gist of it and just took it as it is. Just a good pack of Alphas and a beta who want nothing more than to take care of their omega.

Wren Foster is a no nonsense PR manager for a Hockey team. Roan and Rhett are the Alpha hockey players. Jay is the beta that rounds everyone together and is the calming influence for the group. When chaos is running amok which it seems to be the norm here in this book. Or if you're in PR, just a typical Monday I guess. I absolutely loved it and I hope there's more!

Knot on my pucking life by Heather Long
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶💀💀
A first for Heather Long. Hockey omegaverse. Wow, what a ride. A puck to the gut fun. Lol! The anticipation, the angst, the glory and the care. All swoonworthy.
Wren is an omega in hiding, but that doesn't take away her strength and commanding presence. Being the PR for the Howlers hockey team. Lines were draw early and stoic Roan will not cross them ever. Until Wren goes on leave and the quiet Jay and flirty Rhett made him realise that Wren is it by her heat. Things exciting.
Tropes
One bed. Cock warming. Snowed in. Primal chase. Heat. Knots.
Quotes
“I don’t know how to do this.” That was it. Not whispered like a secret. Just laid bare. Raw. No walls left. I opened my eyes. Jay saw it first. His head turned just slightly, like he’d known all along I was awake and had been waiting for me to step forward. Wren didn’t notice as swiftly, then she glanced up and met my gaze. It was a physical blow that reached right into my soul. Once I knew I had her attention, I answered her earlier statement. “Then we learn.”

“Well,” he murmured, lips curving. “Game on.”

“Hard and fast, little flame?”

Despite the fact that this is the author's first endeavor to omegaverse let me tell you she is no stranger to wolves behaviour and alphas and omegas.
She has been doing this a long time and of course the author knows how to do her readers right.
The story is an absolute standout, delivering a story that is both addictive and emotionally rich. The characters are vibrant, deeply layered, and instantly memorable, each bringing their own voice and energy to the page. The chemistry between them is electric, built through sharp dialogue, shared history, and moments of genuine vulnerability.
Emotional beats land hard without overshadowing the fun and heat of the story.
it’s a powerful blend of heart, humor, and intensity that leaves a lasting impression.
I hope we get to see more of the Howlers

OKAYYYYY Heather is in her new Omegaverse era and I am HERE for it!!

It’s no secret Heather is one of my all time faves, also so is Omegaverse so I squealed when I saw this lil baby get announced and gosh didn’t it just deliver and then some.

I absolutely love Wren, I also loved her role as the head of PR because I would not want to get on the wrong side of her, she’s fire and ice at the same time, I love a strong FMC who also accepts help and support when it’s needed so it was beautiful to see that happen in the cabin.

Rhett, Roan and Jay were all so different yet similar at the same time in the way they each compliment Wren so much. They’re steady pillars of strength for her and reassured her it’s absolutely okay to take it and they wanted nothing more than for her to lean on them.

Just loved the story, the characters and this whole world… sign me up for more!
