Katy Manz has always dreamed of being a Paranormal romance writer. She wanted to bring the stories created in her mind to a world of readers that would fall in love with her characters as much as she has. Follow Katy to keep up to date with new releases, sales, and more.
The premise of this story is a cute idea, both the wolf shifter who volunteers with foxes and the fox who gets the “fated” wolf tattoo, but it felt like there was too much trying to happen for the length of story between trafficking, a stalker, and a best friends’ sub-plot.
The dialogue, on one hand, was very formal; word order combined with few contractions left conversations feeling stilted, and word choices sometimes felt like something you might see in a translation, for example “if we get parted,” instead of if we get separated. The dialogue also feels preachy sometimes (giving a speech preachy not religious preachy), and carries exposition that would work better as narration or thoughts than as part of conversation between two people who just did what one is verbalizing. But on the other hand, the dialogue also sometimes feels very young, for example when multiple adult characters say (at different times in the story) that another adult looks at his mate “heart eyes.”
This is an insta-love fated mates novella, so as is typical with a book of this length there isn’t much in the way of character development, and time passes very quickly, but I think the author’s ideas would have had better opportunity to flourish in a longer, full length novel.

"It’s time to step up and make your own pathway to finding your true mate.”
This book is in a new multi-authored series called Love Sync Ink. I looked on Amazon and was unable to determine which number in the series this was because it wasn't listed as part of the series. The book blurb did state that "Fated Ink is a book in the shared world Love Sync Ink". This book was written by Katy Manz.
When this series first showed up on Booksprout I missed out on the first book because I was a day late in seeing it listed. When this one showed up I grabbed it immediately. This is the second book I've read in this series.
I would have loved to have found out more about the tattoo shop, Fated Ink, and the witch tattoo artists that create the magical tracking sigils. Hopefully Katy Manz will take the ball and run with this and make a new series out of this book. Hint, hint!!! Plus we need to find out what happens with Isaac and Thomas. It wouldn't be fair if Katy didn't give Isaac his HEA since his two best friends Spencer (from Barely Beloved) and Charlie got their HEAs.
Fated mates, why not help fate along, Wolf/Fox pairing, a kidnapping, a fox rescue, a jealous ex, mpreg
This book is part of the multi-author Love Sync Ink series. Each book is a standalone read. This is the story of Charlie and Jamie. Charlie is an omega fox shifter who has just had a magically infused tattoo that would lead him to his mate. Except that he was kidnapped on the way home by would be traffickers. Desperate to escape and unable to shift back to human, he and his other captives hide at the nearby fox rescue for help. Jamie is an alpha wolf shifter and volunteer fire fighter. He wants to find his mate but passes the time by volunteering for the community. When he shows up at the fox rescue centre, he immediately recognizes five omega foxes amoung the regular foxes. Luckily Charlie is his mate so he is able to communicate with him. Jamie and the rescue staff immediately get help. Finally all five are able to shift back to human. And the mating bond snaps tighter into place. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I really enjoyed Charlie's upbeat and positive attitude. I also really liked his bear shifter best friend as well. I enjoyed this book. This is a sweet and charming story.

This was a fairly quick M/M fated mates romance involving a magical tattoo that helps fated mates find each other.
The blurb had an interesting premise (the kidnapping) that initially grabbed my attention which is why I choose the book. However I found the story a bit bland, there was plenty of opportunity for some added interest and excitement but the author just brushed over it. For example the initial kidnapping was barely mentioned and then the 'stalker' story line was slowly building momentum and then just fizzled out to nothing. So while the concept was promising, the execution felt a bit flat for me.
I also wasn't a fan of how the alpha Jamie kept referring to Charlie as a 'brat' because of how he was getting upset over the previously mentioned stalker ex. I think i'd be fairly miffed if someone my partner dated in the past wouldn't leave them alone!
Overall Fated Ink was an okay read. It just didnt shout out to me. If you're looking for something light and undemanding, this will fit the bill.

Fated Ink, part of the shared Love Sync Ink world, is a playful, feel-good mpreg romance with just the right mix of magic and mayhem.
A magically infused mate-marking tattoo is meant to simplify life… not lead to an unexpected abduction and time spent stuck in fox form at an animal rescue. Yet that chaotic twist makes for a memorable meet-cute when a wolf shifter volunteer recognises the little fox as his fated mate. From there, things move quickly – in the best way.
Jamie and Charlie click almost instantly, but the story still gives us longing, outside interference and a satisfyingly over-the-top possessive streak. Add in a stalking almost-ex, a fiercely loyal (and slightly pushy) best friend, and a twin pregnancy, and there’s never a dull moment.
Sweet, knotty, and packed with shifter charm, this is a fun standalone in the series that delivers heat, heart and an adorable HEA.

This story is about a fox shifter called Charlie who gets kidnapped and put in a sanctuary with other fox shifters. But there’s an issue because they can’t shift back to human form. they later find out they were drugged and this is what was delaying their change. Jamie is a fireman, but when he has time he likes to volunteer at a fox shelter. And this is where he comes in contact with his mate. Thankfully, after some time they managed to shift back and Jamie was excited about his journey with Charlie. And then out of nowhere and ex starts to stalk Jamie. It just didn’t click for me this book. I will say that I liked how Charlie defended his mate but sometimes you just get a book that doesn’t click and this is it for me. It hasn’t put me off of reading more stories from this author..

This part of the Love Sync Ink series and I read some other books in this series which I liked a lot. So when I got the change to read this book, I had to read it.
It is a different book again, but a lovely read. With the same theme a magic tattoo connect Charlie to his mate. Charlie a fox shifter is being kidnapped during his run and drugged to stay in his fox form ended up in the fox shelter Jamie is volunteering at. They both instantly know they are mates. I like it that between them everything is so good from the being. But of course there is somebody from the outside trying to mess things up. But luckily both a very strong and truly mated.
I also like Charlie his best friend Isaac, I so hope he gets his own book.
'Fated Ink is a sweet with knotty heat M/M Mpreg romance featuring a fox shifter with an awesome tattoo, a wolf shifter who volunteers at an animal rescue when he isn’t busy putting out fires, fated mates, adorable babies, and a happy ever after.'
The characters carried the story and they were so very appealing and likeable and quirky and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

OMG, I loved Jamie and Charlie! Then there's Thomas, the best friend. He was the best blend of "in your space" and backed off. Anyway, these two were perfect together from the start, even if it was less than ideal. This story has everything, the longing, barriers, meet cute, pushy best friend (on both sides). Throw in a stalker "ex" who never really was, and this story is full of hormone feuled Omega possessiveness at its best. This is a fabulous series and I recommend it without hesitation.
I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
Fated Ink...nice...very nice addition to this magical ink series that has lonely hearts find their mates. Now how Charlie and Jamie met was very interesting and their almost insta love what's make this a low angsty romance. Their is a little drama thrown in to make it entertaining but all in all this was very sweet, hot and romantic. I enjoyed it a lot and recommend if you are enjoying this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Charlie, who is an omega Fox shifter while and then wakes up in the back of a truck with other omega shifters. Is a wolf shifter who volunteers at a Fox shelter. When he sees Charlie, he knows that he is his mate. This is a really good story that had my attention from the very first start. I loved reading it and recommended to those who enjoy this genre.

This is part of the Love Sync Ink series. Charlie takes matters into his own hands and gets a tattoo that will help guide him to his mate. However, he didn't realize he would meet this mate in fox form after getting abducted. Jamie is a firefighter and volunteers at an animal rescue when he meets his mate. Inta-love, fated mates, crazy ex and lots of great side characters.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I like how the magical tattoo works and the advice given. The way Charlie and Jamie met is both sweet and bad but I liked how it resolved. I liked how they dealt with Jamie's ex who kept trying to get him back. Charlie and Jamie make a sweet couple.
I really enjoyed Charlie and Jaime's story. The idea of a tattoo bringing your fated mate to you is great. The only problem is you can't see it in one of your forms. There's some problems like being taken in your fox form, ending up in a rescue, and a horrible ex. Thankfully those problems are resolved quickly.
This series has been fun to read and this was another cute story. Charlie and Jamie meet due to bad circumstances but they quickly start to build their life together although their are more bumps for them to get through on their way to their happily ever after.
Sweet! Started out potentially traumatic then with everyone in the right place, right time, Jamie and Charlie are mated. Great story with a bit of conflict that keeps everyone on their toes. Great group of co-worker friends and family. I hope we get to read of the source of the magical tattoo studio. Excellent series, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m really enjoying this series and the idea that shifters could have magical tattoos that lead them to their mates. Katy Manz adds her part to the series with a story about Jamie who gets stuck in his fox form and is found in a sanctuary by Charlie. It’s fun and very sweet and was just what I needed.

This is a sweet and interesting read. I especially liked the twist to find your perfect mate. It's also full of interesting characters and a sassy omega. The chemistry between the MC's was hot and they were such a great match. It is easy to read with fun banter. Just all over a happy feel good treat to keep up the good mood. It was great fun reading this and I enjoyed myself.
Well written story and well developed characters. I fell in love with the whole extended friends and family in this book. I hope they all get their own story. His best friend talked him into getting a magical tattoo. This would help them find their mates. He almost chickens out. Then he gets kidnapped!! Talk about a game changer!
Love fated mates and tattoos? I think this is a book for you. As part of a multi-author series, I could not recommend these enough. The characters, Charlie and Jamie were such a joy to indulge in. Nicely done.

I like the overall plot of the story; I just feel like it failed a little bit in execution. The entire interaction between Charlie and Jamie seems, for lack of a better word, rehearsed. There was no real flow to the conversation, and I feel like too much was shoved into such a short book. I did adore Isaac.

I absolutely loved this story. The idea that a tattoo can lead you to your fated mate is a really fun one. These two were so sweet together and this was such a happy story.
Fated Ink is part of the multi-author Love Sync Ink series and each can be read as a standalone. I love the premise of a tattoo with special ink that helps mark people to find their fated mates, this was a great story and loved the characters.
Finding your mate because of a tattoo is great. Charlie found his fated in Jamie and never looked back. Their love produced twins and a HEA! Great book!.

Charlie, an omega fox shifter, gets a magic tattoo to help find his fated mate, but ends up getting stuck in his fox form at an animal rescue. Jamie, an alpha wolf, ends up rescuing him and is his fated mate. Things take a turn when Jamie is stalked by his ex. I really enjoyed this book.
This was a fast read but I enjoyed it. Charlie and Jamie were adorable characters and I loved the idea of the plot. I also loved that Charlie was a little bit of a brat
What a great story of finding your mate in a most unusual place. Jamie has been waiting for his mate for awhile and he's been dreaming about foxes. Charlie gets a tattoo of a wolf's paw, knowing it would lead him to his fated mate. Their meet was truly cute. I loved reading how Jamie and Charlie handled the events in their lives together. It was also nice to read how Isaac has a mate too and I hope there will be more of his story coming soon.
