I love that the book starts with Harloe running out on her wedding day! When you know, you know. Shane being in the right place at the right time was everything!
I loved how their relationship progressed into fake dating, but omg, get serious! I would not want to make Shane mad. He’s not one to play with! He’s literally in town to help out a local motorcycle club, and he definitely commands the room!
Her ex not taking no for an answer was wild work! I was literally thinking this man had a death wish. The random attacks targeting Harloe were crazy! I absolutely loved that subplot. There was so much going on besides Shane and Harloe growing closer, and it kept me hooked.
Their push and pull was addictive! At times, I was like, girl, what are you doing?! But I also didn’t blame her. I loved how they just couldn’t stop thinking about each other. Once that line was crossed, omg the spice was on point!
I was so invested in this book. It was engaging, intense, and such a wild ride!

The thing I love most about these two is their unwavering faith and confidence in eachother. To have someone see you for who you are really and truly. To feel like you're too much or not enough, then bam you meet someone who assures you, you are just the right amount of you and are exactly where and who you are meant to be.
Ahhhhh I'm not gonna get teary, but Eva this was brilliant. Shane was perfection in all his tattooed, scarred, self sacrificing glory. And I loved him finding his person. Thank you for this arc and for keeping him alive lol. 🫶🏼

Eva has set this series up so well, if you are new to Eva’s books you can dive right in and not feel lost, but if you’ve read the Twisted Kings series, you’ll definitely enjoy seeing Shane (Venom) fall and fall hard!
Shane & Harloe share a mutual attraction that they both try to ignore, the flirting and banter is top tier and I ate that up! The slow burn tension between them had me burning up, Eva definitely knows how to edge her readers! When the spice hits, it’s delicious, sinful and sexy!
Harloe is a firecracker! She’s full of sass and stubborn to the bone, but Shane sees her vulnerable side. Shane is overprotective and throws himself in the firing line for those he cares about. He lays himself bare for her, and together they heal parts of each other that were raw and broken.
I love a plot filled with suspense and mystery, Eva had me on the edge of my seat waiting for the climatic twist, and then she stunned me with the most heart wrenching twist of fate, which had me all up in my feels
There is deep sense of found family within Eva’s books and Rain or Shine is no exception. Home is most definitely where the heart is!
The world building is perfect! We get enough information about the cast of characters to get excited for what’s to come, without taking the spotlight off of Shane & Harloe’s love story

When I saw the sign up for this book, I knew I had to read it.
Shane is apart of a motorcycle club and he finds Harloe on the side of the road after she flees her wedding. After some time they decide to start a fake relationship so he can keep her safe while improving his reputation around town, since people don't really like the club he's apart off.
The suspense here was really good. From both their pasts to what's happening in the present, it was written really well. It had you wanting to read more and more as it went on.
Both the main characters were likable. There were times Harloe got on my nerves, especially when she doesn't let Shane explain himself and just pushes him away. I understand why she does it, but damn girl learn to listen.
Shane was such a good MMC. When you think Motorcycle Club you immediately think tough and scary, but Shane is so soft and so sweet. He's definitely a complete teddy bear with Harloe, while still being damn scary when he want to be.
Overall, this was so freaking good. The slow burn, the spice🥵 and most importantly how their relationship shifts from fake to real. This was 100% worth it and I can't wait for the rest of the series! Lawson is up next, and I'm so excited for it!

I absolutely have the best time reading MC books but MC combined with rancher ish vibe and ladies and gentlemen we have a winner!!
I really enjoyed the vibe this story has, its a MC for sure and keeps the best elements of the sub genre but it has a fresh perspective with the whole new chapter storyline because we almost feel we’re part of the foundation of the Club so that’s nice!
As for the characters I really liked the secondary characters, they give context and depth to the book and I can’t wait for the next stories to come! But talking about our FMC and MMC, they are really interesting and well done characters, both with strong personalities that give us the best banter, relatable and cute moments and also the most sparkling and delicious tension!
If you like MC books or even small town ones I 100% recommend you to check it out!

Wow! When is the next book coming out? I can hardly wait for it...
Initially, when I discovered that this series was a blend of Sons of Anarchy and Yellowstone, I had my doubts since I’m not a huge fan of either show. However, I have become a big admirer of this series! It portrays a small town where a biker club aims to establish their presence while also fighting to preserve the ranches against the encroachment of big oil companies seeking more land. It’s a significant battle, but luckily, the ranchers and bikers are a team! And help eachother out.
Plus, there’s a touch of suspense woven in that keeps you on your toes!

I already liked Harloe when we met her in Chaos as Willa’s friend but I absolutely love her.
She is independent and sassy and a perfect match for Shane.
O Shane, the protective, caring man you are underneath the tattoos and biker image.
I love how playful they were together and how they brought out the best in each other. He made her feel safe and loved her for who she was and that she was perfect as she is and Harlow really saw through Shane’s exterior and loved the protective, funny and caring man underneath, extra points for a guy who knows how to text, leave a note.
The suspense really adding something extra to the story and loved how things played out.
This is the mix of biker and cowboy and didn’t know I needed but now I need more!!

The runaway bride moment was such a small piece in the story and I truly loved the way Eva navigated that piece as not a long lasting hang up.
I truly enjoyed watching Harlow and Shane blend together with their new found families. The background into the bike club was both helpful to readers newer to the genre but also interesting as they start the new one in Texas.
I would have loved a bit more of the romantic suspense element, but overall it was super enjoyable, I loved the bonus epilogue, and will definitely read the next one!

I enjoyed this so much! I think I might be a biker girly now? Don't tell my husband or he will try to convince me to ride on his motorcycle (I'm a chicken).

This was a good start to this series! I loved Venom in the Twisted Kings series and loved reading him coming into his own in this story. Harlowe was a feisty fmc who has a strong girl gang she adds to this series. I loved them together. They were just so cute. I am so excited to continue with the rest of the guys! That set up for book 2 at the end tells me Lawson's book is going to be so good!

When Harloe returned home to Lanceleaf Valley after a decade away, getting married to her cheating ex was the last thing she imagined herself doing, which probably explains how she finds herself running away from the church in a wedding dress. When a biker stops to offer her a ride, she thinks that will be the end of the story, but when she and her family becomes the target of her ex’s ire, he becomes the only one who can protect her. Given the trouble the bikers are having in town, Harloe makes him a deal, she’ll pretend to be his girlfriend to help improve his reputation, and he’ll keep her safe from her ex and others who may come after her. As long as no feelings get involved, there’s nothing to worry about.
Shane is in town to help set up Ironside Ridge as a stopping point for members of the Twisted Kings MC, but with oil companies trying to take over local ranches, they are meeting with more obstacles than they expected, mostly led by Harloe’s ex. Shane should stay out of the town drama, but from the moment he saw Harloe in her wedding dress, he knew he couldn’t stay away, especially when someone makes it clear they will stop at nothing to get what they want, including getting rid of her, permanently. I received an early copy of this book from @thesmuthood and @theauthor.agency and I absolutely loved it! While I thoroughly enjoyed the Twisted Kings series, there was just something different about this one, and getting to see a different side of Viper was a real treat. I loved how similar Shane and Harloe were, even if the cowgirl and city boy couldn’t have appeared more different on the surface. They’re both fiercely protective of those they care about, and carry so much unresolved guilt from what they perceived as letting people down in the past. Their banter is hilarious, and their chemistry is off the charts, but most of all I loved how they weren’t afraid to call the other out on their BS. While they both tried to deny they were falling in love, it was completely inevitable, and I loved watching them build something real, in more ways than one.
Shane is in town to help set up Ironside Ridge as a stopping point for members of the Twisted Kings MC, but with oil companies trying to take over local ranches, they are meeting with more obstacles than they expected, mostly led by Harloe’s ex. Shane should stay out of the town drama, but from the moment he saw Harloe in her wedding dress, he knew he couldn’t stay away, especially when someone makes it clear they will stop at nothing to get what they want, including getting rid of her, permanently. I have been SO EXCITED to get into this book as we are FINALLY getting Venom’s story after the Twisted Kings series ended! EEEKKK!

In having protection from her ex, she helps him improve his reputation around town. Lines are crossed and blurred, people are targeted, and secrets may just come back for their revenge. I COULD NOT EVEN with Shane and I WHOLEHEARTEDLY LOVED HIM SO MUCH! The way he looked after those he cared about, MY HEART COULDN’T TAKE IT! His charm, banter, selflessness, and ADORABLENESS was SOMETHING ELSE! I really enjoyed seeing his character take the spotlight after seeing him in Vegas, seeing him shine in his own way, and I LOVED how everything ended for him! Harloe DID NOT back down when her heart was set on something, and I APPLAUD her for that! She was ABSOLUTELY A BAD ASS even when she was dealing with her own secrets, annoying exes and demons that haunted her. My HEART HURT for both of them, for what they had to go through, as well as what they found out what really happened for a certain situation, and MY WORD DID THE WATER WORKS COME?! Seeing them be vulnerable with one another, really pulled at my heart strings, with their chemistry being undeniable. Because let’s be honest, SPARKS were FLYING and they were FUCKING ELECTRIC TOGETHER AND IT WAS FIERY HOT!

I have read and enjoyed other books by the author and Rain or Shine certainly didn't disappoint. The author's writing drew me in from the very first page and I kept reading until the end as I wanted to know what happened. I loved the author's writing style and the pacing was just right. I also loved the place settings in the story and the main characters chemistry was off the charts and I wanted them to have their happy ending. Even though there were some sensitive subjects they were handled with care. Overall a brilliant novel that I highly recommend to other readers. I look forward to reading more by the author.

What a great star to a new series! I love small town suspense and Themis kept me engaged to the very end! I love to try to figure out who’s behind the drama while easing and this one Seidel kept me guessing.
Shane aka Venom is my kind of MMC. That man is stacked, pierced and only soft for her! I loved how he had never been one to date but had no issue jumping into the fake dating situation.
Harloe.. what a sassy and stubborn FMC. I loved her! She loved her family fiercely and is determined to make their families bar a success.
Her ex is causing all kinds of trouble for her and her family and Shane and his men. Harlow is trying to keep her families bar afloat after years of it almost being ran j to the ground. Shane is trying to build a clubhouse for their MC and is being blocked and delayed at every turn. They agree to fake date hoping relationship will help with the clubs image and also protect Harloe after someone tries to hurt her.
Their chemistry is undeniable and so hot! The push and pull and worry over could this be more?! Yeah I was eating it up!
There is plenty of drama and suspense throughout and as the story progresses Harloe and Shane both realize they want more, that this is real. The ground work for the town and characters was laid out well and helps set what comes next! I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for Lawson’s book!

This book had everything I want from a MC romance, a morally grey, obsessed biker; a strong, sassy FMC; amazing chemistry; a found family I’m already feral for; and the perfect amount of suspense/danger.
I absolutely adore a broken boy, and Shane Donovan is just the sweetest broken boy. Will he protect his girl and his friends by any means necessary? Yes. Shane is definitely morally grey, but he cares about his community, about his club brothers, and others in need of protection. He’s also completely down bad and in love with Harloe.
Harloe Harrison is strong and sassy, and finds a soft place to land with Shane. Harloe has been running from her guilt and grief for years, but with Shane she finds partnership and acceptance and support. Both characters have such emotional, sad histories but together they find healing.

This was such a fun read! I had never read a motorcycle club romance before, so I went into this not knowing what to expect, but I ended up loving it. The story was engaging from the beginning and it drew me into the world of the club, small town, and all the characters. I loved the relationship between Shane and Harloe. We see Harloe escaping from her wedding, Shane setting up a new chapter of his motorcycle club, Harloe dealing with her bar and ex, an unknown threat to them both and a host of side characters - Harloe's friends and family, Shane's club members, and the inhabitants of the town.
Harloe is strong, independent, active and unwilling to be a burden on anyone. Shane is protective, dedicated and loyal, he doesn't hesitate to take a life if he thinks it's justified. Despite this, he isn't controlling of Harloe at all, leaving her completely free to make her own choices and respecting her wishes (as he should!). This isn't a slow burn but the action builds up gradually.
The story reads very easily despite a few heavy themes and events. The characters all have different personalities and there's chemistry between them all - it just works. The spice is very good - Harloe and Shane agree to fake date each other to help Shane and his club get accepted, and for Harloe to have a safe place to live after her home burns down: the perfect excuse to get close and personal!

Wow… This is my first Eva Simmons book and it did not disappoint! I’ve been sucked into MC, small town, cowboy romances’ lately and if that’s your niche, this book is for you!!!
Coming back home and trying to keep her mothers memory alive taking over the bar, Harloe added runaway bride to her list of crazy things she does. As she exits town, the last thing she expected was to end up in the back of a motorcycle and then drinking whiskey.
Shane was trying to help get the club off to ground. But while he was trying to get settled, picking up a woman in a wedding dress wasn’t in his cards. There’s something about her that keeps him on his toes.
Their worlds collide in more ways than one. Helping each other out seems like the neighborly thing to do. Or is it when it comes to keeping the police off your ass?
Trouble is knocking on both their doors, can they withstand the damage that is being thrown their way?
This book kept me on my toes the whole time I read it. So much happened, but you could keep up and stay up even if you had to stop.

I loved Harloe, being so used to being protected by her big brothers, she had a rebellious streak that made her so sassy and quick witted yet she had this whole vulnerable side to her that made her so relatable.
Shane was a hot, tatted, 'touch her & D*e' type of MMC and the way he went to battle over and over again for Harloe was so good. A bit of a broken boy himself, we got to see multiple sides which only made me fall more in love!
The way their relationship blossomed from their fake dating and their genuine friendship was beautiful to see and i wanted nothing more than to see them get a HEA

I loved Harloe, being so used to being protected by her big brothers, she had a rebellious streak that made her so sassy and quick witted yet she had this whole vulnerable side to her that made her so relatable.
Shane was a hot, tatted, 'touch her & D*e' type of MMC and the way he went to battle over and over again for Harloe was so good. A bit of a broken boy himself, we got to see multiple sides which only made me fall more in love!
The way their relationship blossomed from their fake dating and their genuine friendship was beautiful to see and i wanted nothing more than to see them get a HEA

I think I am going to be invested and obsessed with this new series! I think Shane met his match walking down the road in a wedding dress and sparkly boots. And I also think this book is an amazing start to a series I am going to fall in love with.
From the creepy ex who doesn't know the meaning of the word done, to the sexy biker who agrees to fake dating only to realize his feelings are as real as the kut he wears on his back. Living in a small town myself, this one sure hit home with the community divided drama and everyone knows everyone's business no matter how hard you try to hide it. This is such a swoon worthy read that had me giggling like a school girl. Shane and Harloe could not be more perfect for each other if they tried, but they have a hard time expressing real feelings that will have you rolling your eyes quite a few times because you can see it yet they are still trying to figure it out. But when they finally come together, your talking about some delicious spice that will have you blushing. Then some sketchy things start happening in town and with Harloe and her family and when you think you have it figured out, BAM!! you are blindsided and shocked that things sure do happen for a reason. I have been looking forward to Rain or Shine ever since finishing Soul, so I went into this one with some pretty high expectations and Eva Simmons absolutely delivered.
From the moment I started reading, I was completely hooked. I genuinely could not put this book down. The writing was incredible, and I loved how much detail went into the story. The descriptions really pulled me in and made it so easy to get lost in the world.
The plot was fantastic, the chemistry was everything, and the spice? Absolutely YES. Everything worked so well together and kept me turning the pages because I needed to know what was going to happen next.
And then we get to that plot twist toward the end… WHAT?! I was absolutely speechless. I did not see that coming at all, and it was such a great way to shake things up.
After finishing this one, I am even more excited to see where this series goes next. And after that little sneak peek at book 2? Yeah… I’m already impatiently waiting for it.
If Rain or Shine is any indication of what this series has in store, we are in for one hell of a ride, and I am absolutely here for it.
