Really fun second issue. Brett Bean leans fully into the mix of ridiculous fantasy violence, goofy humor, and surprising heart as D’Orc keeps trying to help people in a world that expects him to be the villain. The whole “Time Thieves” twist adds a cool new layer to the story, and the wild character designs and visual gags make the book a blast to read.

Chaotic, funny, and weird in the best way.

Forget about the chicken who crossed the road, because this chicken just saved his best bud from collapse!

This was such a fun issue. D'ORC doesn't want to live up to the legend of his name, in fact in this time around we find him, the shield, and the chicken up up and away. They're fleeing from the light and dark entities in an attempt to steer clear of imminent death. When they get there, they realize there's an enemy already in place and not one they could e suspected.

I loved everything about this issue.The dialogue between characters was amazing and the plot is moving along at a wonderful space,

D’orc #2 – ännu mer kaos, och jag älskar det!

I sitt försök att undvika alla som vill döda honom hamnar D’orc – tillsammans med sin blodtörstiga, magiska sköld och sin nya kompanjon… en huvudlös kyckling – i ännu märkligare problem.

Plötsligt är barn inblandade. Och en Time Lord?!
Alltså… hur ska det här ens sluta?!

Vilken trio. Dynamiken, humorn och galenskapen är helt klockren.

Det här är fantasy som inte tar sig själv på för stort allvar – och det är precis därför det fungerar så bra.

Another great issue, and it truly felt like the story is finally moving in a clear direction while still taking time to explore and enjoy the world being built around it. This issue focuses on our protagonist battling a group of children who have been taken over by a time wizard. It was a lot of fun and gave us a chance to see more nuance and depth in the character. Overall, this was a fun, action-packed issue with some standout moments from Ghost Chicken. I couldn't recommend it more. Grade: B+

10/10 | Once again really good issue. The sheild heavily reminds me of the hat Link wheres in The Minish Cap, very similar personalities. Another small thing I enjoy is everyone having their own color text boxes, gives life and super easy to read. The power design of the Time Lord was awesome, loved the concept of him aging his opponents til death, along with his held against will child minions. In general it’s just very creative with many other moments I could point out but I don’t wanna do all that. Ready to see what’s next.

Not as fast paced as the first with the entire thing taking place in one scene, but a joy of a continuation to see these characters grow and I can’t wait to see what happens next
