MY BABY SAKURA HAS GROWN UP SO MUCH WHAT. (also the fact this volume cover is a throwback to the first one like...) if only volume 1 sakura could see how he made it <3 love momiji and how similar he is to sakura. THOSE ARE BROTHERS!!!! they just need to fight it out and hug it out

what an insane place to catch up. reading momijikawa and sakura’s backstories back to back has hurt my heart oh my poor sons I can’t stop crying. if anyone ever tries to hurt them or drown them in that loneliness again I will personally reach into the page and kill them

it’s obviously not finished yet but I’ve enjoyed this manga more than I expected. it’s just so wonderful to see these people being there for each other and lifting each other up and being a home for those who need it. there’s so much love and kindness in this story, I feel so deeply touched

I dont like this. like I know i said I wanted *spoiler redacted* but this isn't what I meant (it actually should NOT come as a surprise. every single other *spoiler redacted* has been just as traumatizing)

should have waited a couple more weeks (or months) to get caught up but I always have been a glutton for punishment.

i think i finished it? if anything i read until chapter 206.
that was not how i expected to discover sakura backstory and god it’s sad but this guy saying it while smiling
your honor furin is his family.
they accept him for him and id like to think he doesn’t mind the light anymore now 🥹🥹

and omfg i love the newfound tolerance between sakura and momijikawa theyre so funny

Sakura has grown so much and I love to see it. He's the kindest guy ever, shy and socially awkward, sure but now that he's found a place he can call home he's able to show his softest side. Of course he's still a badass but now he uses his strength to protect others, not just himself. Tbh, in chapters 202 to 204 he made me cry.
I liked how Momijikawa's story and Sakura's has a lot of points in common. My heart breaks for Momijikawa, he was shouldering a lot of things alone and I'm so glad he's found a friend in Sakura and a support system with the Furin group.
