I found this book really exciting and enjoyed reading it. I found this book and borrowed it in the National Library app and read it as a ebook. I found it as I was searching for books by Cathy Macphail who wrote this book and is one of my most favourite authors, all her books are thrilling and entertaining. However this book caught my eye when I saw the interesting and vibrant coloured cover just like all of Cathy's books. I tapped on this book and read the synopsis of it and at that moment I was captivated by it. "Ivy turned on her, 'I told you I'd get you, didn't I? Well,' her next words sent shivers through Katie. 'Tonight's the night.' " Just by reading this passage, many thoughts and questions filled my head such as "who are these two characters? ", "What is happening here? ", 'What does Ivy mean and why is she doing that? " and many other questions. As I read on, I knew that I wanted to read this book, hence I borrowed it. As expected, the book was really exciting and once I started reading it, I could not put it down, for the next few days, I would easily spend 1 to 2 hours on only reading this book. There were many times when I was left at the edge of my seat and really wanted to know what was going to happen in the next chapter or so but I could not read it anymore as if I did, I would have needed a new pair of glasses. Overall, the book was one of my most favourite books and I will probably read it a second time as I can accept the fact that the story has ended. I recommended the book to one of my friends and he does not like reading at all, but I managed to convince him to do so. I also hope that you do try reading this book and share your thoughts of it too.
