໒꒱ ❝ God, please.” How can he make such a simple touch so intoxicating?
“Yeah? Who are you praying to, Red? Cause right now, it’s just us, and if you’re going to pray, it’s going to be on your knees for me. ❞ ⋆.˚

❝ You’re his new fascination.❞
That’s the real tragedy here. Coming off arrogant and rude is not my usual demeanor, but when someone takes a baseball bat to your heart, it's hard to repair the damage and let someone else in. Red just does something to me that I put up walls to protect myself. Even if I want to feel her hot mouth on me. It’s wrong to rile her up, but the faces she makes and her quick comebacks are too entertaining.
And I won’t let up, because I don’t think I want off this train, and I haven’t even touched her… yet.
That’s the real tragedy here.
Joan comes over and hands each of them their cabin keys. Coach Jones and Anthony leave us to talk privately, while the twins get a tour from one of the staff, the men talk about the autographs Noah signed outside.
“Kids, or…?” Mark edges.
“In their early twenties, one gave me her number.” Noah holds up a folded piece of paper, waving it around. “Might call her later if I get bored.”
Taylor snorts. “You’re always bored. What number is this? Fifteen?”
Noah shrugs, unbothered. “Maybe ten, I lost count when that other girl gave me a blow job in my suite in Aspen last week.”
The men snicker, making my stomach turn. My eyes lock onto Noah’s, and a sly smile appears, mocking me from afar.
More begin to gather, and I’m already looking for Noah in the crowd, a knee-jerk reaction to how strong his magnetic pull is. But who I spot him with almost rips me to shreds from the inside out.
Standing, beautiful as ever in a sleek, black winter coat, hair that reminds me of melted chocolate, is Cassy. She takes center stage, angled toward him, speaking in a hushed voice, then flips her hair back away from her shoulder, casually running her fingers through Noah’s hair. He pays little attention to her because he has his eyes directly on me.
My throat goes dry as anxiety comes in waves, rippling over the stone wall I’ve made. He’s not stopping her from touching him, nor is he engaging. He doesn’t move, only continues to hold me in place with those captivating brown eyes. Trying, unsuccessfully, to put my stupid camera back in my bag, I finally get it in, zipping it tight. I'm edging away, Maya lets go automatically, probably seeing what I see.
