I liked it...but....something didn't connect with me...
Leaps in assumptions…lies a plenty…and the easy road. All these things did not make me like Kylie. She was a lying, deceitful, tease who used anyone and everyone to live her easy ride. There are lots of people who find themselves 19 and in need and they do not turn to prostitution or stealing! Seriously, those were the only two options you saw available to you? Have you not seen that movie, “The Pursuit of Happyness”? That man was living in a train station bathroom and he did not give up his integrity! Rant out.

Jude was rich, hot and smart. Jude saw in Kylie what he wanted to see and most of all, he saw her iron walls that he wanted to concur. Kylie saw a meal ticket and went for it. Why she didn’t just tell Jude the truth after the first, “I love you” boggled my mind. That was the hardest part to relate to with this story. How can you love someone, truly love them and not give them your secrets. That was when I really knew with my husband…when I let him open my Pandora’s box (which by the way, I am more like a matryoshka doll, and yet he persisted).

Luckily, Jude was as addicted to Kylie as she was to him and they did find their happily ever after. However, Jude will ensure much punishments are delivered to ensure Kylie stays on the straight and narrow from now on! Enjoy.

THANK YOU! I received a copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley and can not say thanks enough to have had the chance to read it! WOW!!! This book was amazing. I have read a lot of BDSM books, revolving around the same theme, but this one was so creative and unique! The twisted plot, ultra hot sex scenes, and main characters, make this book a page turner right from the beginning. I could not put it down!

Jude is a dominant that can make any girl swoon! He is heart wrenchingly faithful, hardworking, and so worth every minute of this book. I of course fell in love with him and his dominant side right from the start!

Kylie is a submissive, troubled, and keeping a secret that helps to unfold their rocky romance with so many twists and turns in this book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and panting for more!

I loved this book and felt it was one of the "freshest" BDSM Erotica Romances that I have read in a long time. Bethany Bazile will be one of my favorites to watch out for and read now. Do not miss this one, you will not be disappointed!

“There will be a lot of bondage, toys, suspension, anal play, spanking, and much more.”

Okay. I almost stopped reading this book right there. Another BDSM book? Yawn. I didn't realize that when I picked this book. Thank goodness the hero was only kinky and not tortured; I really can’t take reading about another tortured Dom right now. At least there was no visit to a sex club. That’s something. I certainly rolled my eyes when on their first date the main character lays it all out on the table -what he wants and it includes whips, anal plugs, and punishment. But hey, that’s just me.

In Deceitfully Yours, we meet Kylie who comes across as a part time con-artist/photographer that uses her beauty to get what she wants from men. She’s encouraged in her con-artist ways by a nefarious figure named Mason who taught her everything she knows. Kylie scopes out and later meets and begins a relationship with Jude Baxtor, a handsome and successful hotelier. Kylie and Jude begin a relationship and their intense chemistry leaves both of them unsettled as their carefully constructed walls come tumbling down. Unfortunately, Kylie has a lot of secrets including the ulterior motive she has for beginning a relationship with Jude to begin with.

Deceitfully Yours is a short read but all in all it just didn’t really work for me. It was just okay, nothing special. I did think the second part of the book was better than the first, up until the 75% mark. I don’t want to give anything away but I was definitely rolling my eyes. I mean Kylie had plenty of times to come clean about her deception and ask for Jude for help, but she doesn’t. Manufactured angst. I know there will be plenty of people that really like this book. It’s quite descriptive in some parts and Jude definitely has a way with words.

“Once I push my cock into this tight little pussy, it’s like you signing your name on a contract. Your screams, moans, and cries will all belong to me. I will control your pleasure and your pain, and you’ll beg me for your orgasms.”

“I’m going to fuck you ruthlessly until your voice is hoarse and your pussy craves me day in day out. Don’t try to take more than you can handle because you think you deserve it. If it’s too raw and dirty for you, you safeword.”

I didn’t really connect with the characters and didn’t think the story had any depth. Defiantly Yours, the next book in this series is expected out in January of 2014. Defiantly Yours will be Jax and Stacia’s story. While I wouldn’t add Defiantly Yours to the top of my TBR list when it’s released, it may be worth a shot for readers who are looking for a quick and dirty without a lot of substance. And there's nothing wrong with that =)

Thanks in advance to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Deceitfully Yours. Bethany Bazile.

ARC supplied via Netgalley.
I found this an interesting book – part erotica, part romance and part thriller/adventure/mystery. I do like a novel that has more than just a simple easy plot, so I was intrigued by the premise of Deceitfully Yours. I always admire how a good author makes the reader like someone who on the face has qualities we dislike. Its that way for me with Kylie, she's in a life of crime, cheating and stealing, setting out to seduce in order to gain the confidence of the victim and steal from him. To me that's really horrible and yet, who hasn't trusted the wrong person, made a mistake? In Kylie's case its a big mistake sure – and one that's trapped her in the life she despises. Jude is supposed to be just another mark but he soon becomes far more and we're brought some sensual, erotic, sex scenes. I did have a bit of a problem with how rapidly things moved between them, I’ve seen the “insta love” work in novels but it didn't quite gel here – they're both determined its nothing but fun – though for different reasons and yet it becomes more very very quickly. Somehow that rang a bit false to me. Still, the story continues, Kylie gets more and more trapped between her heart and her reasons for being with Jude. I did really get to grips with Jude, for someone in his position he seemed very naïve in some ways, and his determination not to get emotionally involved went down the drain without much of a fight on his part...I thought he was a strong type who'd make more effort to hold out.
There's a twist I didn't see coming towards the end, and I do love a good breakup :) gives me the angst I need to enhance the HEA. The ending is quite hurried too – I felt it seemed rushed, glossed over a bit. Its those two things that mark down the star rating for me – has the elements of a riveting, seductive, romance with the edge of suspense but didn't quite make it for me. Its quite short at 238 pages and I feel maybe the story would have been better of it was a longer novel – give all those plots time to work out properly without the rushed feeling. But that's just me and my love for longer books, I just feel this one would have suited that format better...Priced at £2.64 for 238 pages/390kb its a reasonable price.
Stars: three and a half.

This is the first book that I have read by Bazile and it was a shocker. This book is very firmly in the erotica genre with BDSM throughout so if you are a little squeamish when it comes to very descriptive and intense sex scenes be forewarned. There are lots of sex in this book and Bazile did not hold any punches. The writing is well done and the story moves forward at a smooth pace. When we meet Kylie we really don't know what her game is. Bazile leads the reader on a bit at first and you don't know if she's a call girl, blackmailer, corporate spy or what; you just know that it's something that is definitely shady. Jude on the other hand comes across as an overindulged playboy that's all about getting what he wants, but quickly learns that what he though he wanted from Kylie is quickly changing into something much more than he anticipated. Bazile conveys tension and stress well in this book, you can feel Kylie's and Stacia's anxiety when dealing with their controlling boss Mason, who is little more than a thuggish bully who will use anything and anyone to get what he wants. There's the added stress of jealousy for Kylie because of a one night stand between Jude and his sister's best friend Kendra who he rather arrogantly sends his love interests to for physicals to get a clean bill of health. Really? Why would you think that it's okay to send the person you want to sleep with to a woman who you slept with once and then ran from? Come on Jude! Jude's younger sister is a piece of work as well and doesn't approve of Jude's lifestyle and immediately brands Kylie a slut on sight. The story alternates from both Kylie's and Jude's point of view which makes the scenes more interesting as you can see what each is thinking and feeling as their relationship takes off much faster than either expected wanted. Secondary characters like Stacia, Jax, and even the hated Mason are all integral to the story. Bazile ties the story up well and there will be a sequel at some point entitled Defiantly Yours that will be the story of Stacia and Jax.

Kylie was just 15 when her single mother dies giving birth to her brother, who was immediately adopted to another family. Alone, Kylie goes into foster care and at age 18, is alone and is forced to make ends meet. When she meets Mason, she is trying to convince her landlord to not evict her, and to give her a week to come up with the rent. Mason offers Kylie money to do a con job for him. He tells her that she can remain in her apartment for 6 months on the money she'll make on this one job. Kylie, seeing she has no choice, accepts Mason's offer, and gets suckered into the world of conning. Cut to years later when Kylie is forced to do a con job on a man who is drop dead gorgeous. Kylie, ultimately breaks her rules of "not falling for the mark", and falls falls head over heels in love with Jude. Jude is into BDSM and Kylie, not thinking that's something she wants any part of, soon realizes that not only does she want a part of it, she craves it.
When Mason starts to put the pressure on her to get the goods on Jude, Kylie has a dilemma, does she come clean to Jude, who she is falling in love with, and vice versa, or does she do her job, and risk her blossoming relationship with Jude?
I got this book for free on Net Galley after reading a blurb about it on their site. I have to admit that I enjoyed it, despite never ever hearing about the author before this. The characters were well developed and there was even a surprising plot twist that I didn't see coming. I'd like to read more from this author, see what else she can imagine up.

Deceitfully Yours – Bethany Bezile
3.5 Stars

I liked this book, I didn’t love it. My biggest issue was how quickly the main two characters fall in bed and lust with each other…it was not believable. As for the rest of the story, I really liked it. It was not just a romance but had some BDSM, mystery and twists as well!

Kylie is a master con artist and works for a man named Mason, who is not a man you can get away from easily. When she started working for him it was out of desperation but it has gotten to the point where she is looking for a way out. But Kylie has seen the violent side of Mason and fears what will happen if she tries to leave. Enter – her next mark he has for her – Jude. He is a gorgeous hotel owner and evidentally has some information on Mason that he is being blackmailed with. Kylie’s job is to get this information from Jude’s safe and return it to Mason. Easy right? Not exactly.

Kylie puts her plan into motion to seduce Jude and somehow break into his safe to get this information but before she can do that she starts to fall for Jude and all his kinkery! Can she do this con job for Mason or can she see herself having a real life with Jude? Can she betray him like this? Can she betray Mason and fear for her life if she doesn’t? Not only does she have this decision to make but this is about the time in the book you find out who Mason really is. I won’t go into any more details, you will have to read this book to see how it all plays out.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Deceitfully Yours by Bethany Bazile was an interesting book. The plot was unique. The main characters were somewhat flawed. Especially the lead female character, Kylie.

Kylie has had a difficult life and circumstances beyond her control caused her to make some difficult choices. She is essentially flawed and at times you want to just give her a good shake. Now normally I hate characters like that. But somehow I found myself really liking Kylie and was cheering for her.

Jude Baxter is very much a dominant alpha male. He goes after what he wants. He finds himself attracted to Kylie and wants to become her dom. Kylie is hesitant but cannot deny him, so Kylie becomes his submissive.

Throughout the book we know that Kylie's choice of occupation is...um....less than savory. She works for a psychopath named Mason. But what we don't know is the big secret she is keeping. I won't spoil anything but her secret, predictably, has a huge impact on her relationship with Jude.

The book is a stand alone, BDSM novel that deals with bondage, submission, pain, and anal play. If these things bother you..this book IS NOT for you. The lemony scenes are graphic but tastefully written.

While the book does come to a definite conclusion, there is a sequel or serial planned. The next book deals with Kylie's friend Stacia and her attraction to Jude's friend Jax.

I enjoyed the book and would recommend reading. I give it four stars for the plot, descriptive writing, and character development.

ARC Supplied via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

2 Stars to 4 Stars (2 because of the dreadful editing/errors - but I'm not sure if I received a final version or not and 4 for the actual story)

It is very, very, rare that I don't finish a book but Deceitfully Yours very nearly made that pile.

Don't get me wrong this is a great story and was very well written, in fact I would go as far as to say it was HOT, HOT, HOT when it came to the sex scenes.

BUT if there is one thing that I really can't abide its bad editing and blindly obvious mistakes, I'm not talking about the odd one or two but anything up to 5+ on any one page. Now that could be because I had an ARC and maybe it wasn't in the final published format, in fact I sincerely hope that this is in fact the case. But I will admit to being totally OCD about this kind of thing and it was for that reason that I very nearly gave up completely.

OK so having said all of that, I really enjoyed the actual story. It contained a good mix of romance, hot sex scenes, BDSM, hot sex scenes, some mystery, intrigue, hot sex scenes, a HEA and, oh yes, did I mention the hot sex scenes? !!!

I loved the characters - main and ancillary - and look forward to book 2 but Please, Please, Please Bethany get a new editor.

I would not recommend this book for readers under the age of 18 or those who do not like reading books of a very sexually explicit nature (including anal play and anal sex).

This book is a slow burn story it didnt seem to grab me at first, but as you get into the story you get a great mix of romance, a sprinkle of mystery, a good dose of angst, with some scorching hot sexy scenes that involve BDSM.

The whole story makes you so invested in Kylie and Jude’s lives, there are twists and turns that keep you on your toes, i loved the whole twist with Kylie’s brother.

Jude is a good guy, he is also a Dom and a good one at that he finds that Kylie gets under his skin like no other has and there relationship develops quickly into much more than Dom and Sub.

Kylie’s life has been pretty crap for the most part and she is in a difficult place, she was just supposed to be doing a job, but Jude is so much more than a job. Mason is a total douche who has ruled over Kylie and her friends lives for so long they feel like they cant get away.

The chemistry between Jude and Kylie burns so hot ,and the BDSM scenes are believable and good to read.
I wish the ending had a little more content i wanted a bit more from jude and Kylie it all seemed rushed to get to the HEA.
Over all i did like this book, its a good little read, the next book involving Jax and Stacia sound great i bet there is some explosive hotness between those two.

I really enjoyed this book, it was refreshing to read a BDSM book where the dom didn't come from some kind of tragic background, he does it because he enjoys it. Now grated there is some tragic back story there, but it has nothing to do with his sexual choices. I was confused at first as to why Kylie is doing what she does for her boss Mason. I would have either turned him in by now or run away. When she finally gets with Jude and they fall for each other so quickly I was a little concerned because, if she loved him so much why didn't she tell him the truth? What was going on in her head, he's rich, he's powerful, he could help her and instead she continues on with the ruse. When everything hits the fan and Jude learns he has been betrayed I feel so sorry for him. I truly loved his character, and I personally never would have given her a second chance. But I must say the ending, though sweet, left something to be desired. It left me thinking there must be a second book coming to explain more things to us. If there isn't then I guess I'll be in the dark, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Free Read from Net Galley for a honest Review

Im more than happy that this wasnt a tragic Dom with a lot of dark baggage. Simply put Jude a strong Dom with no emo issues, when so many book protrays a Dom just like that. He has a mind set and knows what he wants. Kylie had me a bit confused at times, she rather play a game with mens feelings. Kylie strings men along only to achieve her goal but when Jude shows a bit of indifference she begins to second guess her well thought out control. Where as I understand doing what one must to make ends meet, Kylie is a con a user and she is good at it. Meeting Jude may have her thinking she met her match, though as strong as Jude is Kylie has him thinking a lot about her as well. (A Doms life is never easy ^.^)
The story was good could have filled out a bit more, I did like Jude a lot. Loved the sex!! um.. scenes. ^.^ Nothing like a Dom that knows how to control, watches the sub and is clued into the scene. If you write BDSM stories, I think you need strong BDSM scenes.
Ms Bazile weaves a little bit of mystery in her story. See if you catch the story within the story.

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS****

Okay so I did like this book! Lol! Yes the 2 MCs rushed everything, the sex, the feelings , the love but sometimes I don't mind it. I didn't mind it here at all. I fell hard for Jude, strong, sexy, and a Dom who has a soft side! Please! It was nice to read a BDSM book that did not have the MC dealing with a tragic past. The one thing that annoyed me the most was how Kylie handled the "secret". I get WHY she thought she had to but the situation was completely different then with Shane. Jude could have helped. I don't like it when these females make dumb decisions. The second thing was the ending. It kind of felt like more should have been said. I understand he doesn't completely trust her but I think an epilogue could have been used to tie up the lose ends. Unless the second book will tie them up. But if the second book is about another couple I don't see how that will happen. Jumping 6 months or 1 year down the road would have made me as a reader feel more confident in the HEA. Like how did she prove her trust???

Other than that bring on THOR!! Aka Jax :)!!!

OK....WOW!!!! I Mean.....really did not know anything about this book or author. Read it for an ARC. I don't know..maybe that is why it was a really good read for me!!! Jude is sexy, beautiful, authoritive, dominating ALPHA MALE!! I mean gorgeous is always nice but Kylie is sent his way "Decietfully" I mean the chemistry between these two was scorching HOT!! I liked how the author gave both POV of these characters. It is always nice to know what they each think. The fact that Mason is tied into this story makes the deceitful part crazy. I am not one for spoilers, but of course, there is a twist to this story. I see there is another book that I WILL BE READING. Good news there is no cliffhanger and I honestly think that is the best part about this whole book. Loved IT!!!

I received this ARC from the author via Net Galley for an honest review. Thank you!

Jude wants Kylie in his bed, but what he doesn’t know is Kylie is not who he thinks she is. Kylie is used to using men to get what she wants. She holds a secret that Jude doesn’t know about and if he did would he still want her. Kylie doesn’t give up her heart ever, what will happen when she does….
Jude and Kylie’s story is easy to follow; I loved the suspense, mixed with the erotic romance. The storyline was easy to believe and the characters were easy to understand. The chemistry between Jude and Kylie was scorching hot and sexy.

Overall a very good erotic romance story, the ending was a little abrupt but knowing there is another book coming out it left me satisfied and excited to read the next book in this series.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for an honest review. I would give this a solid 3.5-3.75 stars. There was the right enough passion and intrigue to propel you through the book. My only complaint was the formatting for the digital book not their fault- probably my reader's, but ah well. On to the story- Kylie is a master manipulator and she has set your eyes on Jude. Jude is the gorgeous hotel entrepreneur who's done something to turn the vengeful Mason, Kylie's "boss", against him. Mason wants a file and he sends Kylie to seduce Jude and get the file. Kylie never thought she'd fall for Jude. When the whole truth comes out- can Jude ever forgive Kylie... and will Kylie even make it out alive...
I really enjoyed reading this book and I think anyone who likes a little mystery with their very hot scenes will too!

Looking for a quick, sexy read? Look no further! Deceitfully yours is an erotic romance, combined with a little suspense. Love it.

It takes a while to like Kylie’s character because she is so manipulative, but I instantly love Jude’s character. He’s dominating, controling, and oh so yummy!

Jude is a Dom and has a sweet, caring side that I enjoyed. There are BDSM elements throughout the story and the sex scenes were delicious. When you learn more about Kylie, you grow to like her and realize she isn’t as bad as she seems (at least I realized that).

Deceitfully Yours by Bethany Bazile is a well thought out, well-written, erotic story with a happily ever after. There isn’t a cliffhanger (yay!). This is a definite must read book.

Wow! When I got this book I honestly didn't think I was going to like it. I was wrong. I did. I love my erotic books but this one had a small twist with it's storyline that I liked. The female character breaks the male characters heart which is rare in these types of books. It was different and had a good story line. Bethany if you read these reviews which I hope you do one thing I would work on is really developing the characters a little bit more. I would have loved to gotten to know Kylie's past better and Jude relationship's with his brother. Over all this is a good book. I'm going to read the next one plus check out your others. Keep up the good work!!

This book almost felt like a porn movie to me! Very poor and choppy story used as an excuse to get to the bedroom scenes as quickly as possible, as often as possible. Those seemed lackluster and stilted at best but BDSM is not something I particularly enjoy so maybe that's why I didn't care for them. I don't feel like I have the time or energy to devote to this book to see it to the end, unfortunately.

I had a hard time getting into the story and the characters. I didn't really believe the beginning of the relationship, it was strange and harsh at times and I thought the end took too long to come to a half baked conclusion. I don't regret reading but I would not read again.

Okay...where to start. I received an ARC copy of this book from the publisher. I am so happy that I was afforded this opportunity. I'm not sure if I would have found this book! Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. I was intrigued by Kylie! I could not wait to find out what her secret was. Then when Jude enters the picture and she finds out he's a Dom....that's when I really wanted to learn more. Now I'm not into BSMD but if I had a Dom like Jude, I might just change my mind. I'm hoping there will be a sequel....I would love to see what happens with Jax, Jay and Stacia? It is worth the read!

My rating: 3.5 of 5 ⭐

What Kylie Weber does best is seduce men, but she never lets them in her bed. She just makes them think they can get there. Only once before did she allow someone in her heart and her bed, and that didn't end so well. So now, all she does is what is expected of her......she leads men on, in order to get from them what Mason wants. Mason has controlled her every move for years and she doesn't know how to break away.

Immediately when she catches his eye, Jude Baxter knows that there is something special about this girl. Sure she is gorgeous, and she is also apparently here with another man, but the way she looks at him stirs something inside him. When a few days later he bumps into her again in the elevator in his hotel, he starts to think this may not be a coincidence and decides to grab the opportunity to find out more about her.

Kylie is overwhelmed by Jude. Accustomed to being in control of her contact with men, she is completely out of her element when Jude immediately grabs firm hold of their connection and dominates every inch of her. Not having any experience other than her one disastrous love, Kylie is stunned by her own response to the extreme demands Jude places on her and her body. She loves every minute of it.

So much so. that her end objective is easily shoved to the back of her mind, while she is enjoying every new exploration Jude introduces her to. Jude himself is not left unaffected either. Normally keeping his encounters strictly sexual, he finds himself fast becoming emotionally entangled with this mysterious beauty and quickly starts overstepping boundaries he himself usually puts up.

When Mason becomes impatient for results and starts hounding Kylie, the pressure on her becomes visible and Jude begins to ask questions. Torn between her feelings for Jude and her fear of Mason, Kylie tries as long as she can to hold off both men to the best of her ability. But when threats start being issued, and a shocking confrontation takes place, she realizes she may have made the wrong choice after all.

********

A very interesting storyline!! I really started enjoying it, once I was about one third into the book and started getting a bit of an idea of what was going on. The twist at the end was one I had honestly not seen coming, but probably should have in hindsight. It made the whole book make more sense and was very clever.

I had a few question marks regarding the validity of Jude as a Dom, wondering if a real Dom would so quickly subject an innocent, unexperienced girl, into such an overt BDSM scene. No real discussion beforehand, just quickie sex turned into a dominant/submissive scene, somewhat forced. That didn't sit too well with me. From Kylie's point of view, that is rather circumspect as well, seeing as she is supposed to be innocent and all vanilla, up until that point, and yet completely goes against all she has stuck to for years and gives herself sexually to a 'mark'. Not just gives, but completely submits.

Despite the rather choppy start, as the story progresses, the ongoing D/s exploration starts fitting better. The storyline starts feeling better too. The whole flow of the story now feels smoother, as if it is more coherent and leading up to something important. The description of each character's slow emotional involvement is believable and nicely done and seeing especially Kylie blossom, is very satisfying.

The erotic scenes, of which there are plenty, are well described, stimulating and at times intense. But these too, as does the rest of the book, improve in the second half. Perhaps it is the involvement of feelings at that time, I don't know, but it gives the sex scenes that trust that is needed to heighten the experience I guess. Even for the reader.

✨An interesting and titillating plot, a good read.✨

Ruling: 1 star

I prefer to not write negative reviews because I respect the time and effort of authors and their teams. I just hope the version I was provided is not the version for sale. This grammar in this book is horrendous! The spacing is inconsistent, over-used (2 spaces) or inconsistently used (spaces in the middle of a word or lack of spaces causing 2 words to be joined) and the paragraphs, particularly quotes, run together so it’s challenging to identify who is speaking. I would estimate 5+ spacing errors on each page, but expect as many as 30. I read reviews on this book after I discovered the errors and was confused to find only a hand full reviewer addressed this. The errors are bothersome, and when I realized I was counting errors I knew the story would be greatly impacted; when you counting you aren’t reading… I reduced my review by 2 full stars for the grammar.

Now with the story. You should have your running pants on, and I suggest you make sure they are anti-flammable in the crotch because the first half of the story progresses rapidly.

Kylie is a con artist working for a cold killer boss. She has learned to emotionally disconnect from her missions. Her next mission involves Jude Baxter, a possessive hotel owner. Their introduction is forced, but their attraction is natural and electric. Unbeknownst to Kylie, Jude is a master of his pleasure, and soon becomes the master to hers. This book contains BDSM; orgasms are instructed, not taken, and pleasurable punishments are carried out. The second half of the book introduces deceit and scandal. Kylie’s original motive was the mission, but her emotions have prevailed to the surface and now she is forced to make life altering decisions. She has two men in her life that she is obligated to; one could physically destroy her or worse, and the other could shatter her.

What I liked: Kylie has a strong personality, yet is overtaken by Jude (anyone who has read BDSM will understand this statement). Jude’s dominate and can appear to be a jerk, but his sweet and caring personality bubbles to the surface.

What I didn’t like: I felt the story was rushed, especially the first half. Due to this readers will find character gaps. Kylie has a tragic past which is explained at a high level; more details and emotions could have been elucidated. I found Kylie’s roommate, a supporting female character, to be annoying and overbearing. She’s concerned about Kylie, yet she appears to be condescending and whiny. I was also HIGHLY surprised about the public conversation between Kylie and her roommate. They are in a gym dressing room, and Kylie emphasizes that women are casually listening to them, and then she says “apparently, Jude Baxter is into BDSM, and I’m the catch of the month”. No wonder Christian Grey made his subs sign a confidentially contract. At some point in Jude’s life he is involved with an altercation that impacts him heavily, and in-turn impacts his actions in this story, yet the details of this altercation is never defined. Last, but not least, there is a very important file, but readers never discover its contents.

As you can see my dislike list is longer than my like list. Overall I feel this story was rushed, the grammar errors are hideous and too common, and character development was lacking.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

He kisses my neck, then says, "I want to know you in ways that will make you ache for me at night.

Kylie, young, beautiful and dangerous. Her life took a sharp turn at 19 when she met Mason, and was dragged into a world of lies and theft.
Mason controls her by fear, fear of what he has already done to the last person Kylie loved, that has not only scared her emotionally, but has trapped her to him, with no escape.
Seducing men to get close to them, to gain whatever it is her boss need of them is her game, one is has mastered perfectly, until Jude.
Jude is meant to be another quick target, but her plan fails the second she lays her eyes on him, feeling a deeper pull towards him.

Once I push my cock into this tight pussy, it's like signing your name on a contract. Your screams, moans, and cries will all belong to me. I wil control your pleasure and your pain, and you will beg me for your orgasms.

Jude is your typical dark hair, chocolate eyes, mouth watering dominate God. He is instantly attracted to Kylie, and against his own caution, he pursued her, but keeps her at arms length, for a time.
Things progress quiet fast from hot steamy dungeon sex to sleep over and meeting the family, but all too soon Mason rears his head reminding Kylie of her job, that she belongs to him, get in and get the file and be gone, or her past will be re-lived.

When the truth surfaces the tear between Jude and Kylie is devastating and their love for each other will be tested, but will it survive?

I'm going to fuck you ruthlessly until your voice is hoarse and your pussy craves me day in and day out. Don't try to take more than you can handle because you think you deserve it. If it's too raw and dirty for you, you safeword.

Twists, attraction, deceit, delicious kinky sex, love, and heartache, this book has it all.
The only draw back i have is it was a very slow start, and the ending seemed to be quiet rushed.
Will keep an eye out for the next book, Jax and Stacia's story, Defiantly Yours, in hopes for some more of Jude and Kylie.

~Dreams are the blueprints to the things we want. They never come to life if we don't put in the work to make it happen. Nothing you really want just falls into your lap. The obstacles in the way to realizing your dream tend to fall out of nowhere. Nobody wants those.~

Jude Baxter knows instantly that he wants Kylie in his bed. What he didn’t realize is that she’s everything he’s been looking for. When lust turns into love, Jude puts everything on the line to make Kylie his.

Kylie Weber manipulates situations to get what she needs from men, but Jude knocks her off her game. Jude is unexpected and exciting. Kylie soon finds herself erotically entangled in Jude chains and rope, but worst of all she’s gotten her heart entangled in this very dynamic man.

Will the secret she keeps from him cost her everything she never knew she needed?

***

Here are a few of my favorites lines/scenes:

1.) As I begin to come back to reality, I notice how hard the dresser is shaking and feel how slick Jude's skin is underneath my fingertips. I try to look into his eyes, but his head is lowered and his eyes are trained to where his cock is thrusting savagely into me. ~ O.O Holy. Fuck. That was hot. Super caliente, rip off my panties and thrust my hips wildly hot.

2.) I'm not going to let him break me. This is not about love and you know that."

"The only things I know is it's never aboutlove. It's always about lust until it isn't anymore. then you're curled up under the covers wondering when your vagina grew a heart." ~ Lmao! So damn fuckin' true.

3.) "That's not real likely. I'm not interested in becoming part of the family. I'm only interested in how well he can fuck me." ~ Boom Bitch! Boom!

4.) "Do you realize what you're asking for?" He grabs his cock with his right hand, stroking it. "If I let you put this in your mouth, I'm going to fuck your mouth in a way you've never experienced."

Oh God, yes! ~ Oh God, Yes!! Please. Please. Please. Me wants a taste.

Jude Baxter is high on my list of BBF's. He can dominate me anytime of the day.

DY is a must read. It is super sexy and hot with some BDSM action. The characters have great chemistry and when I was done with the book I was a tad bit sad because I wanted more. I wanted to continue reading about Kylie and Jude. I can honestly say that I woudn't mind being submissive to Jude. I will call him Sir forever. FOREVER! FOR-EVER!! FOREVVEERR!!! FOREVAH!!!!!!!

Until Next Time...

Happy Reading

4 BREATHTAKING STARS

This was a story that I received from Netgalley in return for a review. I will admit that I was drawn to the description, but mainly because it sounded like a great set up for a yummy erotic tale. I was wrong...I was right...I was blown away! I devoured this story; chewing through each page...wanting to find the answers and yet wanting it to hold off and last a bit longer.

DECEITFULLY YOURS is the tale of Kylie and Jude. The tale of the deceptions that have made their paths cross and those that continue to linger and threaten the growing love between them. The story is filled with erotic scenes that flush your skin and make you pant, but also contains moments of pure sweet love that bring tears to your eyes. With each new day, each new scene between them a new line is crossed bringing them closer and yet causing the looming heartache to be that much worse.

Although the story is of Kylie and Jude, the secondary cast almost steals the show at times. Marcus is dark and you feel the blackness bleed off the page, while Stacia pulls at your heart. She makes you feel her need, her desire to be free of the prison that holds her, her desperation is almost palpable at times. Add the Thor twins (OMG!!!) and Jude's family and you have a wonderfully rounded cast with all the complications of real life that cause people to deceive.

Each moment they spent together brings them closer to what can only be the end. Right? How can you love someone who has so completely ruined your trust? How can you expect someone to look at you and believe you when you've lied? It's all here in DECEITFULLY YOURS; the good the bad and the questionable in people. I am honestly hooked and can't wait for more. Can you completely forgive or does it always leave a stain on the love you feel? This is one hell of an emotional ride and I don't think you'll feel it's effects until it's over!

Ms. Bazile dishes up an intriguingly deep tale of the right, the wrong and the ever widening gray areas of life. It's all about deception...deception that surrounds each of us every day of our lives. The deception that we create and that we participate in every waking moment of the day. Not only was this a great read it has provided a wonderful base for many conversations around drink filled, smoky bub tables. How do we deceive and why? Is it out of necessity or pleasure? Does our deception define us or does it wash away who we really are?

"The next time we meet, you will come to my house and it will be a lot more than just sex. There will be a lot of bondage, toys, suspension, anal play, spanking, and much more."

Kylie has a mark and he happens to be the very sexy Jude Baxter. Her job is to get close to him and break into his safe and retrieve a file. There are only three rules that she must abide by and the biggest rule is not to fall in love. Only Kylie never expected anyone like Jude. From the moment she saw him she was in lust. He was the kind of man that exuded command even from across the room. From the first date she knows she cannot say no to any of his commands, which just so happen to benefit her sexually. She starts to fall from him from the very begging. She fights it. The last time she fell for someone the consequences were fatal. Now, afraid not only for herself but also for Jude, she tries to keep him at an arms length while finishing up her job for her boss Mason. Hoping she can escape Mason when the job is done so she can be with Jude is what she is fighting for. She hates betraying Jude but she knows Mason will not give up until her job is done.

Jude is a Dom who wants very much to keep Kylie locked up in his basement of pleasure. He knows Kylie wants to be there as much as he wants her there, but he also knows she has secrets. She has secrets that are keeping her from letting her walls down around him. At first he only wants her a a sub, but it grows into more and he decides that she will be his and he will break down her walls so he can keep her. They both fall strong for each other but when Kylie's secrets are revealed Jude is devastated and feels so betrayed.

I loved this book and the story. I loved Jude! He was a very-sexy-Alpha-male-type. Commanding and take charge. The things that came out of that mans mouth were very toe-curling. I was on the fence about Kylie. She was witty, and at times spunky, but the way she cowered down to Mason sometimes made me want to bitch-slap her. I understand that she was scared of him but come on. All in all great book. Has some typing errors. but nothing huge.

“Mom says you can never get lost if you have someone who will come looking for you”

The beginning was a little slow and the writing just wasn’t grabbing me. It read too much like a typical BDSM book, with an inexperienced woman experimenting for the first time, but then I turned a page and it was like…WOW! I couldn’t get enough! It became so much more! There is something for everyone; romance, HOT sex and suspense.

I became sucked in and so invested in Kylie and Jude’s relationship that I couldn’t put it down. This was a very emotional book and there isn’t one emotion you won’t feel! Kylie Weber, a photographer, has had a tough life. She’s lost her mom, brother and finds herself involved in pulling cons just to survive. She works for Mason, who has taught her everything she knows on how to use her beauty to get what she wants from men. She desperately wants to get away from Mason but is in too deep. She has already lost dearly when she had tried to get away in the past.

Jude Baxter is the owner of the Baxter Hotel. He comes from a good family and isn’t looking for love, just wants someone to “play” with. Kylie and Jude have an immediate, intense connection. Their meeting was not accidental, but Kylie finds herself in unfamiliar territory and wants to experience all that Jude can teach her. Jude is very protective of Kylie and knows she has secrets but is very patient with her and supportive. Their characters were very human, flawed in their own way, but interesting enough to make you believe their situations.

Regardless of the slow start, this was a book I would recommend. It’s a quick read with lots of twist and turns. Even though deceit is involved, you find yourself hoping that Jude and Kylie can overcome their pasts to find their HEA. Can that little voice in your head deny the feelings in your heart? Is it worth the risk? True love can conquer all!

“Dreams are the blueprints to the things we want. They never come to life if we don’t put in the work to make them happen. Nothing you really want just falls into your lap. The obstacles in the way to realizing your dream tend to fall out of nowhere, Nobody wants those.”

This book was surprisingly good. This is the first book i have read by Bazile and I enjoyed it for the most part. This book falls heavily under the BDSM category and has quite a lot in it....if you are not comfortable reading all of that, you may not like this particular book.
Now onto the actual story....I liked the two main characters, especially Jude. It was a refreshing change to have a male character in this type of book not have all these past issues haunting him.....now, of course, he does have some family issues but he just seemed so much more normal....like he wasn't in therapy or using that sexual lifestyle to help him get over anything; he just plain liked it. As for Kylie, I was a bit confused about her character. Her backstory is not fully explained until later in the book, so it is hard to relate to her character at first. I didn't understand her motives until the end, and even then, I felt like she could have really done things differently to help her situation. I also felt like things were rushed between Kylie and Jude....their relationship turned into something more than sex way too quickly in my opinion and that is because Jude knew she had some kind of past. I also felt like the situation with Kylie's brother was just kind of thrown in there out of the blue...it also seemed rushed.
Kind of a Spoiler here...but I am not sure if I missed something in the book...but I was shocked to discover the connection between Mason and Jude....totally threw me for a loop and the way it was brought to the reader's attention bothered me...like it was no big deal. And I wasn't a huge fan of the ending.......I felt like that was rushed too and like a bit odd...he couldn't trust her but they could just end up being together again....I just didn't feel it.
But overall, I did like it.,..Jude was a great character and I also liked Tyler......it was an easy read and I was invested in the character's relationship. I know Bazile plans on writing another book about Kylie's roommate so I am hoping to read a bit more on Jude and Kylie...but I am sure they will not be a huge part of it....i feel like they almost need a few more chapters to make their relationship work...but just my opinion!
