Enchanted by a Hustler

Rate this book
In the game they played to win, Kez and Kee knew that they must expect the unexpected. Brothers from another mother, they share many similarities including a tumultuous past. After life dealt them an unplanned tragedy they’re left to make something out of nothing. Love was lost, bridges were burned, and tables had turned.

Hitting rock bottom was never a thought of either man until it was their new reality. Newcomers took on the streets and the game seemed changed forever. But as fate would have it, one phone called changed their entire situation for the better.

A goal-oriented beauty named Brooke came along and offered Kez everything he didn’t know he was missing. With a budding love interest and a rising empire, Kez felt like he was back where he belonged.

Now flooding the entire south with the purest product, the “brothers” are an upset to some. However, with hidden enemies lurking in the shadows, trouble is bound to unfold. Will this new power couple make it out together unscathed? Or will the very empire they worked so hard to build crumble?

Good Good

The writer comes out the box swinging and hitting for the fences The writer gives us two brothers that are involved with the women meant for them. In between trying to navigate the streets and their empire proves to be quite a task. The writing us solid and it is well executed. You are pulled in and you are going to want to know what happens. Now that I've told you that you should read this story, there are some things that are going to bug the heck out of you. The importance of proofreading, when giving your audience a finished product. Use all the eyes you get! Some of the typos took from the scenes and not mention it gets frustrating. Please use a proofreader or good set of friends.

Hustlers

A little on the slow side, but the storyline is good. I don't understand how Kez and Kee didn't think Catlett was the killer.

Enchanted by a hustler

The simple errors caused me not to give it 5 stars. Kee and Kez neglected all possibilities on finding their fathers killer and slept on the one person they thought they could trust. Monica's money hungry ass was doing entirely too much since she wanted to still be a hoe. I liked Lana because no matter what she dealt with when it came to Kee, she always stuck by his side. Brooke was a nerdy chick that got enchanted by a hustler and she didn't have any bad intentions so that was a plus. G was straight scary, right along with Carlos' jealous ass. Those two couldn't do their dirty work if their life depended on it. Even with two amazing women, Kee and Kez stayed messing up. Oh my! Shay was looking for a come up and failed miserably. I was wondering why Lupe felt the need to give the guys a heads up but not inform they of who actually caused them so much pain. Carletta is dumb and her loyalty shouldn't have been to her father. She had plenty of times to rid herself of him but decided to do the unthinkable just to please him. I'm glad Brooke got that vibe from Carletta and decided to keep an eye on Kez. I wish Carletta would just go somewhere. I'm mad at Kez because when his girl needed him the most he wasn't there. More than likely I'll give part two a chance to see how much the story grows and if a few questions will be answered. Will Kez get back to the house in time, what will Kez and Kee do with the information Brooke uncovered, is there a reason Carlos isn't doing any harm to G, and exactly who got shot?!

This is my first time reading from this author work. Mercy B did a good job. Enchanted by a Hustler is a good read. This book didn't disappointed me. The characters of this boo are amazing me. Kez and Kee needs to turn the table around because they have a good woman who care about them. I can't wait to read part 2 of this book because I want to know what's happen to Kee, Kez and the rest of characters.

This book occupied my attention the entire time. I always have a favorite character in each book and this it's definitely Kez character. I really love the bond of the father and sons. Mercy B seemed to capture the essence of how it really is to be magnetized by a hustler; especially them love scenes. I'm breathlessly waiting to for part.

Mercy B is an eloquent writer, who creates characters that are original. What I appreciate the most about this series, is the element of surprise.
