I adore C.J's writing and just finished the ARC of Markings of Fate (which is an amazing series) when I saw she dropped a biker romance novella. I don't normally gravitate to more contemporary romance but this is C.J. Blaire so I knew the characters would be spot on and the spice would be hot!
She did not disappoint!!
Quinn is a strong, smart, and relatable FMC who just got swept up in wanting to be loved and adored by her man. Unfortunately, Davis is...well Davis.
Rhodes however, is everything Davis is not but he is also, her brother's best friend. Rhodes has been loving Quinn from a distance for 10 years.
C.J. does a fantastic job in 149 pages of creating emotion, tension, and love ALL while giving us some very hot spice!!!!
I have loved her Romantasy series and now I am here for her Romance novels!!!

This is a brother’s best friend biker romance with just the right amount of forbidden tension. After Quinn catches her boyfriend cheating her world flips upside down and when Rhodes steps back into her life, the chemistry is instant. You can tell these feelings have been buried for years.
Rhodes is everything you want in a biker MMC protective, loyal, and completely gone for her. Their connection felt natural and intense without dragging anything out.
Since this is a novella, it’s quick and to the point, but it still delivers emotion, spice. Not a slow burn, but it didn’t need to be.
If you’re in the mood for a spicy biker romance with brother’s best friend vibes and second chance energy, this one is worth the read.

This is such a cute, quick, spicy biker romance! If you’re wanting to dip your toes into the MC world, this is a lighter, more lighthearted take with a strong focus on family and friendships within the club.
It was exactly what I needed — short, sweet, and spicy. I’m usually not the biggest fan of novellas, but if more of them were written like this, I’d absolutely be on board.
I absolutely adore this writer’s writing. She’s one that I will read anything she writes.

Quinn is having the worst day- losing a client and finding her man cheating- her brother and motorcycle friends arrive to save the day and a spicy evening turns into a tale of hidden romance. This book is exactly what you need for a quick, spicy, happy ending read. Check this one out!

I demolished this book and it wrecked me. What a fast and amazing read. Infinite spice right from the beginning. Damn. CJ has outdone herself again. Perfect read.
