DNF @ 50%
I was trying to finish this, but things just kept getting worse and worse. The writing has a lot of issues, including tense, punctuation, repetition, and continuity. When the story started downhill, I finally gave up. I won’t be reading any more from this author even though I got 2 books for free.
It’s a shame, because there’s potential, which is what kept me reading until 50%. But when the main plot-point of the story gets completely skipped and the couple is still tiptoeing around each other into the second half of a novella-length story, I don’t have time or desire for that.
