The MMC, her best friend, Jonathan, watched her navigate through the constant hurt and rejection of her “boyfriend”, Julien. The plot takes you through the challenges people face during the different stages of relationships and friendships. Watching this story unfold will take you through all kinds of emotions, while making you re-evaluate your own relationships, friendships in the process. This was a real cute, very soft, friends to lovers read. Not a slow burn at all. Kiara finally decides to put herself first by leaving her long term boyfriend and getting with her best friend Jonathan. They get together fast but realize there’s still learning and growing to do regardless of them having a solid friendship. Very hallmark
