I really enjoyed Maya and Ace’s story. I am not generally a basketball fan so I wasn’t sure how I would feel reading it but I loved it.
Ace may be one egotistical athlete but he has a good heart. Everything he does is for his family. The NBA is his ultimate goal but his chances dim in the blink of an eye.
Maya is so perfect for Ace. She stands her ground and doesn’t placate him. She also has a soft spot for him but must remain professional.
The tension between these two is always there. Clearly they are meant for each other. They balance each other out and get the HEA they deserve.
