*I was given this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I honestly don't know where to start. This book, this story, was really good. I usually judge how good a books is based on how many times I either- gasp, yell, tear up, blush, smile, or close the book in surprise. I basically did all of those things when I read this book.

The beginning of this book, probably about the first five chapters, lagged a little bit. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like it was hard to get into right after the first or second page, and a little bit confusing. In these first chapters, I thought the main charater (Rhiannen) was weak, and just didn't have much personality. But guys, once you get to the sixth chapter, that's where it starts getting really good.

There were times where I got confused as to what was going on. It seemed like in a few areas in the book the scenes jumped or information was just not presented. There was a lot of detail in the beginning of the book, but later on I felt like there was less detail, and maybe it's just me but I had trouble visualizing certain scenes.

Now that I am through with what I didn't really like, let's talk about what I did like. I think one of my favorite things about this book was how hard the choices were that Rhiannen had to make. In my mind, when Rhiannen was faced with a problem in the Kingdom, I immediately thought "oh, well that's easy", but it wasn't. I think we forget how hard it is for the people in charge to make choices, and it's especially hard because it effects everyone under them.

All in all, this book was very interesting, and made me laugh several times. There was even a certain scene that I bookmarked, just because I absolutely loved that the sass levels were through the roof. All of the issues that I had with this book were minor compared to the actual storyline. Some of the ideas I took from this were change versus tradition, prejudice, and self discovery. This story was so unique and I honestly can't wait to read the next one when it comes out! Read the full review at http://karafoster101.wix.com/thebookd...

This is one of those books where every time you have to stop reading, you're still thinking about it! (Aka the best kind of book) I loved the fact that there was finally a heroine who was putting her responsibilities above her personal feelings, but there still manages to be an adorable love story! I would suggest this to anyone!

I wish I could give this 6 stars. This is an amazing fantasy story with some romance, lots of action, suspense and mystery! I hope that this is just the first of a series of books because I need more of "The New Faerynn". Don't miss the opportunity to read this fantastic book.
