When ICE operations threaten their community, three juniors at Battle Creek High School refuse to be silent. Javier Pérez carries the weight of his family's immigration status. Chester Wesson fights to protect everyone around him. Miri Pattington refuses to let fear divide them.
Together, they transform their school into a beacon of hope and resistance. What begins as protection walks and sign-making evolves into something bigger—a school-wide protest that catches national attention.
But when federal agents start moving closer, the three friends face their greatest test yet. Standing together in solidarity, they must decide how far they're willing to go to defend those they love.

March 2026 This is more like a novella; it's a fast read.
Loved it! It was so cool to see how the three main characters, all teens (2 guys and a girl) all juniors and each from a different culture, in the same high school, were friends who decided to stand up and rally the rest of their high school, and more, to stand up and protest against ICE immigration agents raiding their neighborhoods using shock and fear, spreading terror throughout their community, and yanking people out of their homes in the dead of night! They tried grabbing kids as they were leaving school.
This is what happened when these teens started a protest movement that went viral!
