Introducing CLAIMED - A steamy sapphic short story.
Claimed is the next in the After Dark collection by RA Hunter, and contains the following DominationSubmissiveG!PPrimal PlayChaseHunter x Prey (A full list is available on RA Hunters website and in the front page of the short.)
RA Hunter writes unapologetically authentic sapphic love stories because the world deserves more messy characters, tender chaos, and queer identity. As an AuDHD writer shaped by early-00s alt pop culture and the gloriously unhinged pre-regulation internet, she brings a brain wired for intensity, curiosity, and delightful chaos to every story she creates. When she’s not writing, she works in television—an industry that perfectly complements her love of storytelling, organized chaos, and deadlines that sprint instead of walk. At home, she’s happily outnumbered by her dogs, who insist on supervising every creative endeavor. Her dedication to crafting emotionally resonant queer stories was recognized in 2025, when she won the Best Self-Published Novel award at the Indieverse Awards—an affirmation of the voice she once was not sure she could share.
This story is a proper “chase me, catch me” moment. Very hot; very fun, leaves you wanting more. Really enjoyed a sapphic omegaverse take. We need more Strong female Alphas in the world!!!
4.5 stars. My favorite novella that I’ve read from this author. Sapphic omegaverse, knotting, and fucking PRIMAL PLAY! Loved it. The build up was good and the smut was hot and rough and so much fun. This was so much fun and I really hope that Hunter writes more omegaverse and soon because I need more.
There is only so much you can say about a twenty five page short, but for what it was, it worked. It was hot, fast, and fully committed to the primal sapphic omegaverse vibe. No deep plot, just tension and chase.
I will take any sapphic shifter romance I can get, so this scratched the itch. The female alpha having male parts surprised me for a second, but it was not unwelcome at all. Short, spicy, straight to the point.
Short but deliciously hot. My only comment is that I want more.
I need more of this bratty omega, 23 pages is not nearly enough for the Omega to get what she deserves, and she’s serves so much more.
I was expecting this short story to be delightfully filthy, and it did not disappoint, but some of the lines in this are beautifully articulated; it only made me enjoy the claiming that much more.
The After Dark series keeps serving the SPICE. This was my first time reading omegaverse and I'm not disappointed. I think fans of the genre and newbies alike will love reading this Alpha pin her Omega and CLAIM her.
