Where do I even start either this? I am absolutely full of so much emotion during and after finishing this book. Honestly this was everything and more I could ever have from this book. I just adored Freddy and Hazel so much and you handled the topics with such grace. I am in awe of this book so much.

From the first moment we met Hazel & Freddy the banter and the romance was perfect. I adored his nephews too and the story had me giggling, crying and smiling all at once. This was the most emotional book I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Also the scenery of the home and holiday was so whimsical and I felt like I was right there with our characters. It was amazing.

Thank you to the author for providing me with an E- Arc of this incredible book. This has been the best book I’ve read in a long while.
Thank you to the author for allowing me to participate in ARC reading.

I can’t wait to read more from this author and the series.

Before you read this review for Emma Sewell’s Sealed With A Kiss, go read the first two books in the series–Only Ever You and You, As You Are. You will want to meet Iain, Maisie, Bash, and Faye first. Trust me….

If a sexy frog and a floor man don’t suck you into this book right away, then Freddy and Hazel definitely will. And yes, their names reflect the tender and charming nature that permeates their entire journey. As someone who enjoys hundreds of romance novels a year, I have a weakness for any nanny story–even though Freddy is technically an uncle in this book. However, their story doesn’t deserve to be reduced to a trope like that.

Yes, this is a love story, but it is also one of friendship (beyond just that of the two main characters) and family and healing. I will never tire of the friendship between the characters in this series. They are always there to help out and know when to let go of their stubborn nature (looking at you Freddy) and accept what is given.

Watching Freddy struggle to navigate his sister’s death and his abrupt change in position from fun uncle to main caregiver was overwhelming and heartbreaking but also simply delightful. I loved and appreciated the way Hazel came in and was able to use her superpower–her endearing and chaotic personality–to connect and care for both the young boys and Freddy.

Probably the best part of their journey was the way they filled in the gaps for one another. They both suffer from different insecurities, but they are able recognize and understand them. This allows them to help the other heal. I know that is vague, but going in without too much information makes the journey so much better.

Finally, while this is an open-door romance, I must say that Emma Sewell can write the heck out of a hug scene. Also, channel your inner Jane Austen while reading the dancing scene. Definitely brought me back to the Regency Era.

Two favorite non-spoilery quotes:
“And take the lead he did.”
“Every time”

Thank you Emma Sewell for the opportunity to be part of my first ARC team!

This highly anticipated book is third in Emma Sewell’s Changing Seasons Series.

It’s probably the most romantic and realistic love story I’ve read.
The characters in this novel are relatable, and have such realistic lives filled with neurodivergence, life changing losses and illness, and it is a true work of art from the heart.

The main characters are have so much gentle longing and attraction building, that when it gets good, it’s really good!

Freddy and Hazel are my new favourite couple 💕

• ADHD
• Sole parent
• Loss
• Slow burn

🥹🥺 - my two most used facial expressions reading SWAK.
Hazel and Freddy’s stories had my heart bursting for the both of them. This book really was a rollercoaster of emotions. There are some heavy topics throughout but handled so delicately and openly along with Hazels dry humour and Freddy’s hard exterior chipping away with each chapter.
