Deliciously dark shifter/paranormal romance erotica novella
-check your triggers before continuing, there are many

Dropped into the tension of a marriage on the end of failure, we're introduced to Mira who is dealing with abandonment issues related to her husband Connor never being home. Meanwhile, he tasks his two friends/pack mates to keep an eye on his wife. Adrian is clearly the friend who enjoys pushing buttons and testing boundaries. Mark is the quieter protective type. When Connor sees that Adrian is toeing a line, he sends Mark over. Cue the beast in Connor. Mira crossed a line, and now his beast must punish his wife.

Despite this being a novella, these characters are shockingly well developed. Adrian tests boundaries and loose with rules, Mark is quiet and protective, Connor is the lead of the crew. An alpha type. Mira is touch starved with her husband always on the road. The story skips any meet cute because this couple is already married, but we get a sense of the relationship dynamic and the hurdles they face.

All in all, this was a quick and very enjoyable read!
Reminder this is an erotica novella, heavy spice, heavy triggers...heavy beasts.

Well this was a very different take on the cheating trope. So hubs is a trucker. Not home a lot. Mira was lonely. His friend creeped her out a bit. So he sent his other friend to to calm her down. And things happened. So instead of being upset per se. He reveals that he and his brothers were a werewolf pack and all had her one night. And she was never lonely again.

What a fun read. I enjoyed the crazy chaos between the 4 of them. Love how the men were shifters, so spicy & delicious.

First time reading his authors book and I can say it wont be my last. I absolutely love it. The details,the characters. Just a fun smooth read. Really enjoyed it.

I didn't know I needed this book in my life until it popped up on my radar. The trope list drew me in, but it was the imaginative prose and hunky men that kept me flipping pages. A deliciously spicy shifter novella!

This was my first shifter romance, and it did not disappoint.

I thoroughly enjoy this book. The story was engaging with the right balance of plot and spice. I enjoyed the concept of a failing marriage due to the husband being away often for work, knowing he will likely lose his wife either way, he risks it all to keep her.

Despite being a super quick read, not much explanation or back story was needed to understand the characters, and I enjoyed the balance between the very different personalities.

I love a why choose trope, and this brought exactly what I wanted it to! Definitely a good time, and would highly recommend to others who enjoy spicy who choose books.

I am excited to read more of Lola's work including the other books in this series!

Did I squeal with joy at the end? Yeah, yeah, I did.

I was all prepared, I read the TW and was willing to give it a try. Cheating trope is not my thing, but...it works for this story. I would call it Lite on that trope though, given the situation surrounding it, which was what I was hoping for just because that's the nature of the beast 😉 *wink* 😉.

Highly enjoyed. Great little story that introduced me to a new author that is definitely making it into my Monster Favorites list.

The shifting was 🤌 *chef's kiss* 🤌. I enjoy the darker side when it comes to that and Ms. Vixen did it very well.

Absolutely love the dynamic between the MMCs, complimented each other very well.

Will certainly be reading more.

I read Punished by the Beasts by Lola Vixen and it was a quick, spicy novella that leans fully into its dark monster-romance premise. The story moves fast, but it still manages to capture the loneliness of the FMC and the messy, complicated situation she finds herself in when her husband’s two best friends become more than just company.

It’s definitely one of those reads where you just go along for the wild ride—possessive shifters, dark tension, and a very steamy reverse-harem dynamic. Short, intense, and perfect if you’re looking for a fast monster romance with plenty of heat and a dramatic twist.

Unexpected punishment indeed

Reverse harem, primal play, monster smut, in the bayou? Yes, thanks. Whoo this was a spicy romp that had just the right amount of beastly behaviour to match the level of punishment required for what poor Mira did not understand was essentially her getting trapped betwen her alpha husband and his two best friends. She found out in the most deliciously dark way that Connor, Mark and Adrian shared everything and they were no longer able to deny themselves from sharing her too.

[ARC] I've never read the monster genre before, and I intentionally skip warnings in the beginning of books because I don't like being spoiled, so this was a surprise for me. Brisk, rough, and to the point, this was intriguing as a first-timer and quite enjoyable. The thrill of the chase, the shock, the pleasure.. a great introduction for me to break into what readers of this trope seek out. Lola captured all the emotions of someone being hunted and thoroughly broken in. Enjoy.

Werewolf shifter harem!!

Ok so I found this book in a readers group. Never heard of the author or her stories. People, what are we waiting for!!! This was a one sitting read. And who doesn't love a chase through the woods to start a book off. This is a werewolf shifter story. It is three werewolves and a lonely wife. This definitely has plot spice and a little angst! Definitely would recommend!

If your looking for a smutfest of a book with plenty of spicy naughtiness from start to finish well welcome to the club because so was I. Only read the trigger warnings before you dive into because some content in it might not be for everyone.

Mira (FMC) doesn't really know all about her husband - Connor and his friends - Adrian & Mark and who they really are but in the course of this book she finds that out in great steamy detail. A hot quick read.

Mira clearly had no clue what she was in the middle of! This novella takes you on a quick journey of exploration and introduction as Connor (the husband) shows his wife what he has been hiding from her. I love that he wants to take care of her by providing two additional men to fulfill all her needs! We should all be so lucky! Enjoy this quick read full of wolf shifters, knots and fulfillment.

Loved this Novella of Mira, Connor & the boys.

It is fast paced, funny and also a little bit of a excuse me.... what???!! but in all of the good ways..

This was my introduction to Lola Vixen and it did not disappoint.
Unhinged MMC behaviour, strong, independent FMC is this not what we want in a book ;)
