Wild at Heart is a cute why choose romance that also features Bigfoot. The romance is sweet and the characters are well rounded and believable (though I wish we had gotten a Milo POV). I think this needed one more round of edits. There is a lot of repetition, a few weird spots (Rhett once refers to the journal as his grandma's even though it's Kara's), some weird timeline stuff (they left at dawn, drove an hour, bam it's sunset), a and a little more research needed (I don't think the author is aware of how cold and wet Washington is in November, or that most farmer's markets and campgrounds are closed in October. Also some of the cryptid stuff was wrong but I'm insane about cryptids so I don't think anyone else will notice). Overall a cute why choose romance with nice characters that just needed a liiiiittle more polishing.
This is a cute why choose romance between best friends who decide to take a road trip following a grandmother's journey. Kara just moves back from NYC and goes through her grandma's attic and finds an old journal and after reading it decides she wants to follow the map with her two best friends Milo and Rhett. On this journey they learn a lot about themselves and each other together. They are all scared to take the leap and face the music so to speak but when they do boy it's beautiful. I truly enjoyed this cute story.
This is a cute why choose romance between friends. The trio of friends decide to go on a trip following a map found in a journal of the FMCs grandmother. One their journey they not only learn more about themselves but also each other. Overall I think this book was a great story. It was heartwarming and had a great adventure. Could it have gone through another round of edits ? Sure. Were there discrepancies in the timeline? Yes at times. However, if you are looking for a good, fun , why choose romance then definitely give it a try !
