Welcome to the tantalizing world of Lizzie Sparks, where dark romance blooms like wildflowers in the shadows. Hailing from the lush landscapes of South Carolina, Lizzie crafts gripping tales that delve into the alluring, often dangerous realm of mafia life. With each story, she weaves a tapestry of passion, possessive heroes, and innocent heroines navigating love's treacherous waters.
When she's not conjuring up sultry scenes filled with steamy dialogue and tantalizing encounters, you can find Lizzie tending to her garden, nurturing vibrant blooms that reflect her quirky personality. She believes that just like love, a garden requires patience, dedication, and a touch of daring to thrive.
Lizzie Sparks has done it again! I absolutely love this series. They’re shorter reads so it’s the perfect books to read one after the other. They all follow the different guys in Haven 7. This story is about chase and Fiona. He has to protect her and of course only one bed in the cabin. I love a forced proximity and this didn’t disappoint. The chemistry and spice was everything I was looking for.
Sometimes the place you run to for safety becomes the place where your heart finally feels at home.
Wrangler Daddy by Lizzie Sparks is a fast-paced, emotional romance that blends danger, forced proximity, and protective devotion into a story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. With blizzards, secrets, and undeniable chemistry, this story delivers everything fans of small-town protector romances crave.
Fiona never expected to end up in Timber Creek.
After overhearing a terrifying phone call that reveals her boyfriend is involved in dangerous and illegal activities, Fiona realizes she’s no longer safe. Worse—he knows she heard him. Suddenly the world she once lived in becomes a place she must escape as quickly as possible.
Running is her only option.
That’s how she ends up at Haven 7.
Chase, the team’s resident troublemaker and ex-military protector, didn’t sign up to babysit a runaway socialite. But the moment he meets Fiona—with her expensive boots, sharp tongue, and fear she’s trying hard to hide—his instincts kick in hard.
Keeping her safe should be simple.
Except nothing about Fiona is simple.
Chase offers her a place to stay in his cabin so she can hide out while the Haven 7 team works on the threat chasing her. But between the snowstorm trapping them inside, the tension building between them, and the small problem of only one bed, keeping his distance becomes nearly impossible.
Chase is the kind of hero readers love—protective, warm, and quietly devoted. Beneath his playful personality is a man who will do absolutely anything to keep the people he cares about safe. Once Fiona becomes one of those people, there’s no turning back.
Fiona, meanwhile, is far more than the sheltered socialite she appears to be. As she spends time with Chase and the Haven 7 crew, she begins discovering parts of herself she never had the chance to explore before—strength, courage, and the freedom to finally be seen for who she truly is.
Their connection grows through stolen glances, tension-filled moments, and the slow realization that what started as protection has turned into something far deeper.
But danger is never far behind.
Fiona’s past isn’t done with her yet, and the threat chasing her could put Haven 7 directly in the line of fire. As the storm outside closes in, Chase must do what he does best—protect what’s his.
And he’s no longer willing to let Fiona face anything alone.
If you love:
forced proximity romance
protective ex-military heroes
one-bed cabin tension
strong heroines finding their courage
found-family dynamics
then Wrangler Daddy delivers a thrilling, emotional story full of heart, heat, and a hero who refuses to let danger win.
Because sometimes running away from danger… leads you straight to the man who was meant to protect you all along.

Finally Finding Home and Heart - Chase felt his protective instincts kick in the moment he met Fiona, but he tried to keep it in check because she was his boss and best friend’s sister. However, Chase was quick to volunteer his second bedroom as an option for Fiona, so she would feel safe and comfortable. Even though Fiona knew she was safe at the Haven 7 compounded, the way Chase made her feel allowed her to open up to him and provide him with the information required to deal with her problem.
Chase and Fiona were meant to use the time they were spending together to teach her self defence, but the tension-filled moments only heightened their attraction for each other, where a stolen kiss leads to a mind blowing steamy night. Unfortunately, Chase and Fiona’s blissful existence didn’t last long, as the Haven 7 team received information, that allowed them to deal with the reason she had left her home. As Fiona realised she no longer wanted to return to her old life, it gave her and Chase the opportunity to create a happy future for themselves.
This is not just an ordinary romance story, but also a story about the heroine’s self discovery and finding the courage to let someone really see her for who she really was. I genuinely found it difficult to put down from the moment I started reading the book. This book basically has everything you would want in an instalove romance story with engaging characters and a plot that had the right balance between the drama, action-packed moments and steaminess.

Sometimes the place you run to for safety becomes the place where your heart finally feels at home. Third book in the Timber Creek Daddies series and I have to say one of my favorites. After overhearing a terrifying phone call that reveals her boyfriend is involved in dangerous and illegal activities Fiona realizes she is no longer safe and she must escape as fast as possible. That is when she ends up at Haven 7 and right into the arms of Chase. Chase is the team's resident troublemaker and ex-military protector who is very protective warm and quietly devoted. He will do whatever it takes to protect Fiona and keep her safe, but will it be enough? The absolute connection Fiona and Chase is amazing to read about. It grows with stolen glances, tension filled moments and the slow realization that what started as protection has turned into something far deeper. It is a thrilling emotional story full of heat heart and a hero who refuses to let danger win. I absolutely love that type of hero. I absolutely loved this found family, touch her and die vibes that is spicy with action and suspense mixed in with romance.

Wrangler Daddy by Lizzie Sparks is the third title in the Timber Creek Daddies series and as a short, hero protector, forced proximity, mountain man daddy, instalove romance is was a good read. The plot and storyline is well written and with the suspense and action, found family and touch her and die vibes it had me hooked quickly. Chase and Fiona were engaging characters with Chase falling fast and his protective instincts flaring hot and strong. Fiona is exhausted with the fear and panic of running from her ex and tries to protect herself and bolster her ebbing bravery and self confidence with sarcasm and flippant wit which only pushes Chase's buttons. An instant connection is felt by both and their attraction sparks despite initially trying to deny it. Chase tries to give Fiona the space and the opportunity to feel safe and grounded but their chemistry only burns stronger and combusts with some steamy and spicy moments. Overall an entertaining short story with an ongoing suspense element that kept me turning the pages to the very end for the HEA.

Wrangler Daddy is the third book in the Timber Creek Daddies series. I have only read a couple books by Lizzie Sparks before, including from this series, so I am still getting acquainted with her writing and story-telling style. I liked this story about Fiona and Chase. She has come to Timber Creek to get help from her brother, Gavin, after fleeing her home and boyfriend. Chase is part of the Haven 7 group and likes living alone on the mountain. He spots her climbing the mountain and instantly kicks into protective mode, which ends up with bringing her back to his cabin, with only one bed. The attraction between these two is sparking, as does the banter between them. One thing leads to another and they find that one bed is getting a lot of use. But what happens when the danger she fled comes looking for her.
Wrangler Daddy is an excellent addition as Book 3 of the Timber Creek Daddies series. This ex-military, found family, one bed, protective, spicy, action/suspense romance is a really good shorter read. I love the seamless continuation of the wonderful characters this author has crafted in this story featuring Chase and Fiona. Chase is the ever protection alpha male. Fiona is a determined, funny, sassy female. Together they make a fantastic couple who travel through conflict, emotions, bantering, and self-discovery to find they make a compelling coupe who together find their happy ever after. This is a well-written short romance with wonderful characters that is worth the read.

Fiona, Gavin's sister, desperately needs a reset - as far away from her ex as possible. I liked that she tried using humor as deflection and avoidance. Somehow it had her fitting perfectly with the laid back Chase. The most "carefree" of the Haven 7, he uses his own covers to deal with his emotions, he's not as free-spirited as he may appear. They connect immediately emotionally, but will big brother allow such a thing under his "command"? They have to deal with her ex first. What exactly did he get mixed up in that she overheard anyway? Not that it matters, these guys are prepared for anything... almost.
I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
I know it’s suppose to be short but it felt like there should have been a bit more. Chase is supposed to be the fun and jokester one of the group and somehow he falls for his commanders sister. You’d think there’d be more to it than just Gavin being like you got her and that’s pretty much it. In this book Chase wasn’t his joking fun self. I understand that in work mode you become serious but it felt like even on down time he just was a completely different person than he was in the other books. Maybe because it was the worry and protectiveness for Fiona I don’t know it just seemed off and different.
Fiona overhears her boyfriend on the phone talking about dangerous and illegal things that she should not be hearing. He knows. He knows she heard him and now he’s looking for her to keep her quiet.
Chase is ex military and will do anything to keep Fiona safe from her dirtbag ex and whatever he is involved in.
Quick, easy read. Well written. Bosses/best friends sister, close proximity, hero main male character energy.
Chase and Fiona’s story together is even more proof that Lizzie Sparks is an Amazing Author!! With the Specialized way these men work together as one solid unit to keep not only their women safe but others too!! Addressing the topic of Human Trafficking in such a realistic way. Is just another Kudos to her ability as a Great Author!! I will definitely be rereading these books again in the future!!
Wrangler Daddy is another win from Lizzie, and easily my new favorite in the series. Chase is the big, steady protector you can’t help but fall for, fiercely loyal and willing to do anything for the people he claims as his own. The chemistry is spot‑on, and the spice delivers exactly what you hope for. Their dynamic feels effortless and addictive.
Fiona (Gavin's little sister) comes to say Haven 7 because she needs help and Chase is more than happy to help out. Funny and sarcastic Chase is becoming obsessed and very protective of Fiona.
If you’re looking for short, sweet, steamy and fun - this one is for you.
It got our favorite tropes like forced proximity, only one bed, instalove and found family and all that is wrapped beautifully in a story that’s engaging, thrilling and captivating.

This was instant love for me. Fiona is a firecracker, and Chase is the sunshine kind of ex military. But when she appears and danger is lurking behind her, his protective instincts kick in. That and the sparks that are flying between the two of them. This was such a great story. He was an amazing guy, and together they were wonderful.
Short but intense this story was intriguing right from the start. Fiona is in danger after overhearing a phone call and finds help from Haven 7, specifically Chase. One bed and stranded by the snowstorm, these two can't help the attraction between them and it was off-the-charts. This was a great read!
I have to say these stories are a great way to live in another world for a short time but if you want that bonus epilogue, it's definitely not easy to get. I would like someone to see how many pages you have to go through and email to "try" and get it :( I still can't get it no matter what I do. This author is off my to be read list.
Because Fiona doesn't only have her brother Gavin who will stop at nothing to find her, but she has also stolen Chase's heart too and he will scorch the earth to keep her safe. There is danger and shadows, but there is also family and home, chemistry and plenty of dirty talk and naughty moments as Fiona and Chase fall hard and fast. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
I devoured this book. I couldn’t put it down! I love Chase and Fiona’s story. I love how each book in this series intertwines with each other, giving another piece of the puzzle. This one is probably my favorite out of all of them so far.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Fiona comes for safety and finds love with Chase as well as protection from her ex. I liked how they stop the ex and his illegal human trafficking. I'm glad Fiona choses to stay at Haven 7.
I found Chase and Fiona to be really interesting and great characters. This book has some great romance, suspense and pulled me into the storyline. Lizzie did a really good job of writing this book.
I really enjoyed this book. This story carries on well from the previous stories. This story focuses on Chase and Fiona. Fiona is Gavin's sister (operator from another book). The book started off with action and drama. The spice in the book was good. It was a great, easy, and quick read. I definitely recommend this book, series, and author!
This series is full of quick and spicy Instalove stories and I love them. You can’t help but fall for the MMC’s and the whole found family vibe of Haven 7!
book 3, so far is my favourite, friend/bosses sister, forced proximity the share a house she is scared and needs comfort and he wrangles her in. my favourite part is " useful us when your presence change then outcome in a way that matters and not only when the mission ends" fast easy read spice on point
Chase is cute and funny and protective … just how you like them! Loved the Brother’s best friend angle, loved the heroine in need trope and the spice was there!
