She was supposed to be his path to revenge. Now she’s the only thing he’d burn down the world to keep.

TATE

She’s the daughter of a man running the largest trafficking ring on the East Coast, and I need her to bring him down.

So I took her.

I brought her to my cabin to interrogate her. I wasn’t supposed to cook her breakfast or promise to murder every man who ever touched her. But the woman I dragged out of that club isn’t the complicit princess I expected. She’s sharp-tongued, fearless, and hiding something I wasn’t prepared for.

She’s also mine now. And I won’t give up what’s mine.

REESE

I’ve spent ten years surviving my father selling my body to the highest bidder. I learned to go numb and never let anyone see the broken parts.

Then Tate Sinclair gave me a choice, and I chose to get in his car.

He says he owns me. But Tate doesn’t know my worst secret yet. And when he finds out, even a man who loves violence might not be able to understand what I’ve been hiding.

He thinks he’s the most dangerous thing in my life.

He has no idea.

I’m so in love with this whole series so far!! Twisted Tate was very twisted. Tate needs information against Jenson Donaldson for his brother Fox and the only way he can think to get that information is to “kidnap” Jenson’s daughter Reese. He takes her to his cabin to interrogate her. But he immediately starts having reactions that he never has to any woman. Even though he is questioning her about her father, he is actually kinda of sweet about it. He sees every reaction and wants to hold her through it all. Especially when she has nightmares and needs her fingers in her mouth, the only way she has been able to sooth herself. After Tate gets enough information from Reese, he calls Fox to come to the cabin to start making a plan to deal with Jenson and the others. With a plan thought out, the three Sinclair brothers, Reese and Ivy meet with Daddy Dane to explain everything.
Jenson never saw it coming but Tate pulled him out his car and got the combination to his safe. The information he kept went back over a decade and was everything the Talons needed to eliminate the horrible men that abused Reese and other girls. Tate got his baby girl and Reese got a family, something she never had.
Twisted Tate was a beautiful captor/captive story that had the secret society messiness in it. It had a lot of spicy time that was super hot!! Plus, eliminating the threat in the best way possible!!! Definitely read triggers but such a great book!!

Another great book in this series! Tate is the brooding morally grey MMC we love in dark romances. that is until he meets Reese. Tate takes Reese to his cabin in order to interrogate her. What he doesn't expect is a fearless, sharp tongued Reese. Each of these books is the OTT possessive hero, touch her and die, obsessive MMC that has come to be expected in this series. Can't wait for the next one!!

Sure it was dark but it was so sweet 😭. That is the last word I should use to describe this book but fuck it. Reese is a badass strong woman. Pop off queen 💅🏻🤏🏻

I did highlight something - "Thinking about what you’d look like underneath me, behind me, tied up and begging." - She did not end up getting behind him ☝🏻🤓 and I only highlighted it in case she did 😅.

Twisted Tate is where this series decides to get a little more serious...and then still throws you straight into the chaos anyway.

Its fast paced, as expected, but this one feels a bit more balanced. There's still plenty of spice (don't worry, Dahlia hasn't suddenly discovered slow burn), but the plot carries more weight alongside it. You're not just reading for the heat, there's actually something sitting underneath it that pulls you in straight away.

Tate is exactly the kind of morally grey character you expect, controlled, intense, and very comfortable living in the darker side of the society. but what makes him addictive is how quickely that control starts to shift in ways he clearly didn't plan for. He's not suddenly soft, just...less certain, and it works.

Reece is easily one of the strongest FMC's in the series so far. She's been shaped by her past, but continues to survive the only way she knows how. There is defiance there, and quiet strength that shows up more and more as the story goes on. You root for her from the very beginning without it feeling forced tackling real life devastating problems.

Their dynamic leans into the Dom/Sub side, but its handled with more nuance that just "he leads, she follows." There's a sense that control isn't as one-sided as it first looks, and that adds something interesting to their connection.

The tone overall is darker that the previous books. There's a heavier emothional edge running through it, which gives the story more depth without slowing it down. it still flows easily, still very much a one sitting kind of read, but it sticks a little longer afterwards.

Twisted Tate doesnt try to overcomplicate things. the plot is celan, easy to follow, and everything feels intentional. no unnecessary detours, no dragging things out, just straight run from start to finish with enough tension to keep you hooked.

Overall, this is my favourite of the series so far. it keeps everything that works, the pace, the chemistry, the intensity, but adds just enough emotional weight to make it stand out.

If you've liked the others, you'll fly through this one. And if you're here for fast, dark, slightly unhinged romance... you already know you're not putting it down once you start.

I absolutely devoured Twisted Tate. Dahlia Vale delivers another dark, obsessive installment in The Sinclair Billionaires series, and honestly, Tate’s story might be my favourite of the lot so far.

Tate Sinclair is the definition of a morally gray antihero. Cold, calculating billionaire with ties to a secret society and completely driven by revenge against the man who destroyed his family. His plan is simple. Kidnap the enemy’s daughter, Reese, and use her as leverage. Of course it doesn’t stay simple for long. What starts as a calculated move quickly spirals into full blown obsession. He’s meant to destroy her, but instead she becomes the one person he’d burn the world down to protect. That shift from captor to possessive protector is peak dark romance energy.

Reese is a great FMC too. She’s been through hell but she isn’t broken, and I loved the way she pushes back even while trapped in Tate’s world. The forced proximity in the isolated cabin ramps up the tension perfectly. The banter is sharp, the power dynamics keep shifting, and their chemistry is intense. When the spice hits it’s high heat and very on brand for the dark tone of the story.

Dahlia Vale’s writing keeps the pace moving the whole time. You’ve got revenge, captivity, secret society drama, and the ongoing Sinclair family chaos layered through it all. I also loved the little bits of sibling banter with the other Sinclairs, which adds more depth to the series.

If you love dark romance with obsessive antiheroes, forced proximity, revenge plots, and that strong “touch her and die” vibe, Twisted Tate is seriously addictive.

What the actual hell! Talk about absolute emotional trauma! I had such a hard time reading this as it was triggering; but I loved it and found it healing. Did I fall in love with Tate? Yes, yes I did. Did Reese make me cry? Again, yes! I have one more book in the series (don’t want it to end) and it has probably one of my favorite tropes (forbidden/stepbrother romance); but so far this might be my favorite installment in the Sinclair Billionaire series — but we will see after the final book. Again, this is a Roman Empire series!!!

A captive/captor dark romance with an OTT possessive hero, forced proximity, a touch-her-and-die protector, and a heroine who survived hell and chose the devil.

Twisted Tate, omg, where do I start the 🔥 comes the entire time. Dahila Vale knows exactly how to pull you into the Sinclairs world with cocky, confident men and intense chemistry that practically jumps off the page. The spice, the danger, the emotion… it all worked so well together.
Tate is tasked with taking out a trafficker within the Ravens, but things get complicated fast when Reese comes into the picture. Reese has been treated horribly by her father and forced to live the life he chooses for her, but Tate quickly realizes she is so much more than what people see on the surface. Watching their connection grow while Tate tries to protect her had me completely hooked throughout!🍆🍑 The thing about this series is that every book somehow keeps getting better. Beneath all the spice and chaos is a story about survival, hope, healing, and learning to love hard for the people who matter most. Dahila Vale gives her characters so much depth and growth that it’s impossible not to get attached to them. The strong storylines mixed with the emotional moments make it hard not to fall in love with every Sinclair.
Twisted Tate was 🔥, emotional, protective, and addictive in the best way. Dahila really knew exactly what Tate needed. Like always she hit this one out of the ball park! Loved this 📖

Twisted Tate is a fast-paced and plot-driven dark romance that keeps things moving with a strong sense of momentum and intrigue.

What stood out most to me was how the story unfolds. There’s a constant feeling of progression, with new developments and twists that keep you curious about what’s coming next. It’s the kind of book where something is always happening, which made it really easy to stay engaged.

The darker themes are woven into the storyline in a way that adds intensity without slowing the pace, and the overall structure of the plot keeps the story flowing smoothly.

For me, this lands at 4 ⭐ because it was an engaging and entertaining read, though there were a few moments where I would have liked a bit more time spent on certain scenes.

This is a 4 ⭐ for me because:

• the pacing keeps the story moving quickly
• the plot has strong momentum and progression
• the unfolding events keep you curious
• the story is easy to stay engaged with

Fast-paced. Intriguing. Engaging.

Read this book if you like:

• plot-driven stories
• fast-paced reads
• darker themes with strong momentum
• books that keep you turning pages

Twisted Tate is the first book in this series that truly felt different to me—and it’s because the power doesn’t just shift… it starts with her.
Reese is not a character waiting to be saved. She’s already learned how to survive in the only ways she could, holding onto whatever control she can in a world that stripped her of it far too early. And what makes this story hit is that her “control” isn’t clean or polished—it’s survival, it’s coping, and it’s deeply tied to everything she’s been through.
Tate’s role in this dynamic is what made it work for me. He doesn’t try to reshape her into something easier to understand or more comfortable to accept. He recognizes her strength as it is and allows her to exist in it without shame.
What adds another layer is that even after Reese chooses him, she still can’t fully reveal everything. That tension—between choosing and still holding back—made this feel more intimate and emotionally complex than the previous books.
This one still carries the same intensity, the same themes of dominance and devotion, but it goes deeper into what it means to survive and still find a way to choose.

Twisted Tate by Dahlia Vale is a dark, addictive ride packed with danger, obsession, and emotional depth. Tate may start out focused on getting answers from Reese, but the moment she enters his world, everything shifts. What begins as a calculated mission quickly turns into something far more intense as Tate realizes Reese is a victim of unimaginable cruelty—not the enemy he expected.

Their chemistry is explosive from the start, but what really made this story stand out was the emotional weight beneath all the heat. Reese’s trauma is handled with care, and watching Tate become fiercely protective while helping her heal at her own pace added so much heart to the chaos. The captor/captive dynamic, secret society drama, and high-stakes revenge plot kept the tension high the entire time.

Dahlia Vale continues to make the Sinclair series stronger with every book. Twisted Tate delivers scorching spice, twisted family secrets, brutal justice, and surprisingly tender moments that hit hard emotionally. Tate’s possessive obsession mixed with Reese finally finding safety and belonging made this one impossible to put down.

**I received this as a part of joining the authors ARC team to review upcoming and past books**

“My whole body locked up, and when Tate Sinclair stepped into my path, I chose the devil I didn’t know over the one I did.”

This one was INTENSE! Definitely make sure to check trigger warnings since there is a lot of SA (adult and child) that is referenced. There was so much to unpack here!

I LOVED how supportive Tate was and met Reese where she was at, didn’t view her in a negative light, and listened to her!

“‘You survived years of shit that would’ve broken anyone else.’ His hand slides to my jaw, gripping hard enough to keep my face tilted up. ‘Your body found a way to cope. That’s not weakness, baby girl.’”

Reese is a badass just like all the other Sinclair women! The shit she’s experienced is awful and she built herself back up brick by brick. It’s so beautiful to be a part of her healing journey.

“No one has ever looked at me like that. Like they wanted to burn the world down on my behalf. To actually protect me instead of use me.”

Book 3 of the Sinclair Men series, and I think I’m officially addicted to them! Another fantastic book by this author, and this one was definitely a bit darker compared to the previous ones.

I absolutely adore Reese! She is such a strong heroine! I especially loved that when she needed to talk to Tate, there was none of that typical "no, I won't tell him" or "if I tell him, he'll think this or that" drama. She simply sat down, told him exactly what was happening, and made it clear she wanted to rid the world of the trash. Way to go, Reese! 👑🙌

Tate, on the other hand, was also amazing (well, that was to be expected, haha!). I really loved how observant he was. Almost without her saying a word, he already suspected what was going on.

As for the spice scenes - they are, as expected, incredibly well written. There are no "people with three hands" or weird positions that leave you wondering how that's physically possible, haha! 🔥🥵

This book is beyond amazing! At the beginning of her books, the author always warns that her stories aren't very long, and honestly, I just can't understand why. They are so, so damn good!!! 🖤✨

Who ever said hard men can’t be soft lied!!

Tate definitely went into kidnapping and interrogating Reese with the soul purpose on killing her dad but what he found with her was so much more and seeing the bond they grew very quickly was beautiful.

I loved the trust Tate showed Reese when he suspected she was being mistreated, the way he looked after her and put her first made my heart grow so big and this proves that even killers can be trusted with someone who’s very delicate at times.

Reese’s strength showed that even people who have been hurt can still show trusted and create strong bonds when given the right opportunity and choices, but she was also able to voice what she wanted and not back down.

Personally this made the story better as it gave her a voice and showed her resilience on being able to handle anything thrown at her if she has the right support system.

The chemistry between these two is chef’s kiss and just got better through the storyline.

Check your triggers as always.

Dahlia Vale did it AGAIN. third in the series (fourth if you read the novella first 👀) and somehow it just keeps getting better??

🖤 Tate = brooding, obsessive, “touch her and die” energy
🖤 Reese = survivor, not a victim. she’s been through hell and still rises
🖤 secret society tension + family loyalty + revenge plot
🖤 the LOVE?? intense, consuming, protective in the best/worst way

Tate will burn the world down to protect Reese, and honestly? he almost does. everything he does to help Fox hunt the man who tried to buy his wife leads him straight to her. and once he finds her? it’s over. she’s his. completely.

and Reese… she doesn’t just get saved. she fights. she heals. she chooses him.

the writing pulls you in so deep you can literally feel their connection. it’s dark, emotional, obsessive, and somehow still soft underneath all the chaos.

i genuinely cannot pick a favorite in this series anymore and i am NOT ready for it to end 😭

Twisted Tate is another phenomenal addition to the Sinclair series, and somehow Dahlia Vale just keeps making each book better than the last.
Tate is the perfect dark romance hero—confident, possessive, and fiercely protective. What starts as a mission to take down a trafficker quickly becomes something much deeper when he realizes Reese is an innocent victim trapped by her abusive father. Watching their relationship grow as Tate fights to protect her while Reese slowly finds her strength was both emotional and incredibly rewarding.
The chemistry between them is explosive, balancing scorching spice with genuine tenderness and healing. Combined with the high-stakes action, family loyalty, revenge, and shocking twists, I couldn't put this book down.
Dahlia Vale once again delivers a story filled with danger, obsession, heartbreak, hope, and unforgettable characters. Twisted Tate is addictive, emotional, and everything I love about dark romance.

Tate is more than just the muscles of his three brothers, but being weak in the knees and possibly even in love with the girl he's supposed to be interrogating was not on his bingo card. Reese comes from a dark past and finds herself with a decision one night that has the potential to change everything she knows about her life.. It all depends on whose car she chooses to get into. Yet again, Dahlia killed it!

A MUST READ! Yet AGAIN Dahlia Vale did great on this short read! Tate who is one of the Sinclair brothers finds himself questioning feelings he’s having. He’s known as the hard, big bad brother than gets off killing people and watching the life leave their eyes and doesn’t ever plan on settling down. That’s until Reese comes into the picture and has his mind everywhere. Especially after Reese opens up to him about everything her father has done and been doing.

You will want to read the TWs with this story. The plot is great along with of course the spice we know and love with the Sinclairs.

Dark romance, 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, violence, secret society, possessive, control

Tate will NOT disappoint you! It makes me wanting more of his story with Reese!

Oh Tate…. Watching him crumble under a crazy strong Reese was a delight. That girl has been through the wringer and still holds on to her back bone. Tate’s openness to give what she needs no questions asked is heart melting. As the author states these stories are insta live and smut based and she delivers but she does such a fun job of making a dark romance dark and dirty with out being completely emotionally devastating. She hits dark subjects with just enough for you to feel but brings the spicy and revenge violence to keep it light. I know sounds weird but these stories are so good but I don’t know who else to describe it but a lite dark romance. I cannot wait to see who Thorne falls for!

Every single book just keeps getting better in this series!! I'm obsessed with the Sinclair fellas.
Tate & Reese are so imperfectly perfect for one another.
Tate's tough, rugged, don't care attitude quickly fades when confronted with strong, but trauma ridden & damaged Reese. I love the banter between our FMC & MMC, they're adorable. The unspoken understanding that Reese has been through some very traumatic events but Tate doesn't judge, doesn't question, he's just there for her... gahhh swoon!!!! I love the inclusion of Fox & Ivy throughout this, showing that strong familial bond present throughout the series; Dane & Whitney as well but I love the brother relationship!
The epilogue with a little foreshadowing of Sloane & Thorne... I'm stoked to get into it!!!

Tate is the kind of morally gray hero who will stop at nothing to protect the woman he claims as his own. What starts as a mission quickly turns into something far more complicated, and I loved watching his walls come down as his feelings for Reese grew.

Reese was such a strong heroine. After everything she's endured, she refuses to let her past define her. Watching her slowly learn to trust while standing her ground made her such an easy character to root for.

The forced proximity at the cabin created so much tension, and I loved the mix of action, family drama, and secrets that kept the story moving. The sibling banter between the Sinclairs is always a highlight for me, and it added some lighter moments among all the suspense.

The queen has done it again with this one. It’s so hard to pick a favorite but mannnnnn Tate is up there. He is cold and brooding and willing to kills anyone that gets in his way. That is until he runs into his enemies daughter. Little does he know, she also is an enemy of her father. Everything about this story is dark and twisted and absolutely fantastic. Their characters and their stories are so well written in such a short book. I struggled to pause when I had to get some sleep. I can’t express how excited I am for the final son in this series. Each book has such an amazing story and just keeps getting better the further into the series we go.

Dahlia Vale is starting to become one of my favourite authors!! Her books are not too long but are action packed with great spice and storyline.
Twisted Tate is the 3rd book in the Sinclair Billionaire series. It is based on Tate (son of Dane) who is tasked with using Reese for information on her father (you need to read the first two books in the series to understand the continuing storyline). But Tate does not factor in who Reese is and how she makes him want her.
I really enjoyed this book as the storyline has a lot of emotion but yet is punchy enough with all the action in it.
I look forward to the next book in the series and any future books that Dahlia Vale writes!

And Dahlia has done it again, another AMAZING read!

I am really struggling to pick my FAV Sinclair man at this point, lucky im a Why Choose Girlie 😉

The emotion and heart ache I felt for Reese, her past is dark and tragic and you just want to wrap your arms around her! She overcomes everything that has been thrown at her and is a QUEEN!

Tate is...well Tate 🤣 the love he has for Reese, he would burn the world down for her at any cost! The soft side that comes through for Reese and Reese alone just warms your heart and soul!

I am so ready for Thorne's story❤️

Dahlia's books are short, face-pcaed dark romance, with a lot of spice, sprinkled with plot but they are AMAZING!

Another great read by Dahlia Vale in The Sinclair Billionaire Series.

Tate Sinclair is on an assignment for his brother Fox to find out all he can about Jenson Donaldson after he tried to buy Fox Sinclair wife, Ivy. What he didn’t plan on was falling hard and fast for the man’s daughter, Reese.

Reese Donaldson has lived a life of abuse at the hands of her father and other men for a price. When Tate Sinclair found her that one night little did she know, she just stepped into a new life she never thought possible for herself.

This is a fast paced dark romance, as always check the TW as it involves some heavy topics if you are easily triggered by certain scenarios.

Be sure to check your trigger warnings with what’s talked about with this one. I usually don’t like a book that has the triggers this one does just because of obvious reasons, but Vale did a great job of writing about the trauma that comes with it. Reese’s coping mechanism was one I haven’t read about before which I really appreciated. Coping mechanisms have always fascinatied me so I always enjoy reading something new like that. This book was great like all her others. I love the willingness to do and be everything you need vibe to it as well. I feel Tate’s character showed that more than the others had, which is hard to do in itself! Love it and can’t wait for the next one!

Twisted Tate - I loved this book! It’s not my favorite in the Sinclair Billionaires series but it’s definitely my second favorite. The way Tate is with Reese was so unexpected! The protectiveness, the sweet-side. It was everything! You’ve got this guy who has used women in the past, is known to be ruthless, and not a bone in his body that cares about anyone but himself. Then comes along Reese. Her story, her demeanor, and how she handles herself completely changes him. He doesn’t see her as a victim even after all she’s been through but he knows he needs and wants to protect her. I just loved it so much!

This book was dark and delicious. Tate Sinclair takes Reese Donaldson as a means to get to her father, the man who runs one of the biggest trafficking operations on the East Coast. Reese goes with Tate willingly to escape the monster she knows, the one her father sold her to, who is waiting outside the door to the club. Reese was a means to end her father's operation, but now she's his and he will stop at nothing to keep and protect her. Tate, the most ruthless of the Sinclairs, is completely taken by Reese, she's the one place he shows compassion. They belong to each other now and they will seek revenge against her father together.

Dahlia Vale did it again! The Sinclair men are every woman’s red-flag wet dream — obsessive, protective, and loving with their whole soul. Tate was no exception. He loves hard, and once he claims someone, there’s no turning back.

Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in because this one touches on abuse and PTSD, but the emotional depth made the story hit even harder. The angst, tension, and healing woven into the romance were so well done. And the spice? Absolutely fire. Dahlia Vale knows exactly how to balance emotional damage with scorching chemistry, and I ate up every second of it.

Dahlia Vale- Success again!!! Another well written Billionaire revenge romance, one that's not repetitive but still has the secret society rules on the first page in case you forget what's what. Tate is just a hero especially when he says -"Then f*cking tell me, baby girl. And I'll kill each and every one of them in whatever way you want me to." Reese is such a likeable character too and you get captivated by her story. 'Twisted Tate' is stuffed with action, spice, emotional attachment to the characters fun with the Sinclair family.
Definitely keeps you hooked- well worth the read, highly recommend!
