Objects in the rearview mirror are closer—and more dangerous—than they appear.
Ellie and her friends are off on a spring break road trip to the Canyon City State Penitentiary in search of Great Aunt Beatrice's journals. But how will they convince a convicted felon to reveal their location?
And there's the little matter of the body at the Royal Gorge.
This book didn't disappoint. It was great. Left you wondering when Ellie will tell Noah about her special gifts. This was such a fast read I just couldn't put it down. Highly recommended! Can't wait for the next one and the Plum Blossom Mysteries.
The twists and turns in this story were so much fun. Ellie, Valerie, Sofia and Lucy are taking a road trip to visit Georgia Sandaval in Prison. They are staying at the Plum Blossom Inn run by an elderly woman named June who is an amazingly good cook. Of course, they discover the body of the local Grade School Art Teacher and when he finds Ellie to ask for her help, she can't resist. This time she is in Canon City, CO and must work with Sheriff Robertson, a beautiful woman who used to date the man she's getting close to in Estes Park, Sheriff Noah Morison. To add to their adventure, they discover a body in a remote location which is probably what Stan (the art teacher) saw and was concerned about. It was quite the adventure for these 4 friends.
I love a good road trip. Um but not to visit a convict. Yikes! I love all the places talked about in this book, being a native of Colorado I recognize a lot of it. There are a lot of places in my fair state that I have not visited, I'm going to have rectify that. I wish Ellie would tell Noah about her gift, in a small way I think he already knows. On to the next adventure!👻😉💚💙
This is another great trip to Eerie Estes, a wonderful place with terrific friends who seem to find adventure with dead bodies even on vacation. This time the ladies go on trip to find missing "journals" that a convict is in possession of that belong to the bookstore owner, Ellie. This is a fast paced book with plot twists and interesting people in a new town .
This book has everything you want in a cozy paranormal mystery! It's got great friends, great food, great ghosts, and a great mystery! Plus they met great new friends! I enjoyed this book very much!
Enjoying this series with a little paranormal twist and fun characters. Found myself finding websites for some of the places they visited. Look forward to the next book in the series.
