Book 2 in the King Brothers Series but can easily be read as a stand alone
Lance King is evil, really nasty and even his long suffering brother Wesley has seen just how bad he is…..Jolie ( whose partner is in prison accused of murdering a Policeman) has taken a shine to him…a shine that very soon wears off as she realises what she has taken on, Jolie is also coming to terms with her Sister Victoria’s apparent disappearance
As the story evolves we find there are many things to uncover and many baddies and goodies and goodies who may be baddies and ( well you get the drift )
Its full on gangland adventure and once started hard to resist that ‘just one more page’ as the action keeps coming and some of it surprising on top of surprising
A fab involving character led read that enjoyed every page of

March 30, 2026WoW!!!!! I am lost for words!!!! Trapped by Casey Kelleher is the second book in the excellent The King brothers series and what a gripping gangland crime thriller this was. I loved reading the first book but the second book within the series was so gripping I was glued to my kindle all weekend reading Trapped!
Steve Jenkins, had a perfect relationship with Jolie Conway and they have a young son called Kane. Everything changed between them, when Jolie thinks he cheated on her and now Steve is in prison for something he is adamant he didn’t do. But, someone wants him in there for good and they want him gone!!! and it is a death sentence if he is not careful!!!
The only person who knows the real reason why he is in Prison!!!
Lance King!!! and now he is getting closer to Steves Girlfriend Jolie!!!
Steve is completely powerless, and behind bars he can not do anything to help or warn Jolie, especially as she’s out there raising his baby alone. WoW ......It was full of twists and turns throughout and the characters were excellent, especially - Lance King; he was handsome guy and came across full of charms especially towards the Jolie Conway and her Mum. But, he had another side of him, he had an evil streak and he was 100% pure evil!!!!!!
I highly recommend Trapped by Casey Kelleher it was a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ read. It can be read as a standalone but I so recommend you read both of these within the Kings's Brothers series.What a cliff hanger ending it was and I can't wait for the next book. 💕 Another Excellent book 💕

The second book in the King Brother’s series and oh my goodness it’s another absolutely fantastic read . Talk about keeping me on the edge of my seat , well this book most certainly did that . Every single chapter had me glued to my kindle and there were times my heart was in my mouth . There were twists I never in a million years saw coming . Casey Kelleher has definitely surpassed herself again with this second book . A superb storyline and great well developed characters . We see how evil and depraved some of these characters are, with one in particular being evil personified . The ending makes a clear path for the third book and I can’t wait for it to be published .

Hard hitting, explosive, full of action! I LOVED IT 🥰. The King brothers are back, but can they be taken card of?? Lance is very twisted and he has possessions that nobody else should ever be able to see!! Wes his brother is sick of cleaning up after Lance's dodgy exploits, even he is shocked at the depravity of the things his brother has done.
When Steve is set up for murder, Lance moves into a life with Steve's partner Jolie and their son Kane. Does Lance have anything to do with her sister Victoria's disappearance, is she dead??
As DS Hannah Pinkney and Chris Foster, try to make things stick in court to get Lance put away for life. Hannah ends up in her own danger? Is she a threat? I didnt want this to end. Thrilling Non stop from start to finish way to go Casey Kelleher 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟read from. Me 📚

I loved the first book about The King brothers and this one certainly didn’t disappoint- it was a fab read and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Lance King is recovering but he can’t remember much about what happened to him. His brother Wesley is finding out more about what Lance has been up to and he is shocked and horrified about what Lance was involved in.
Steve Jenkins is in prison for something he is adamant he didn’t do. His girlfriend Jolie thinks he cheated on her and unknown to Steve she’s getting closer to Lance King - who Steve knows is the reason he is in prison.
DI Hannah Pinkney is determined to bring Lance King down. She believes that Steve is innocent and that Lance has set him up but needs to find evidence to support her suspicions.
A fast paced and full of action book that contains surprises that I just didn’t consider. I would definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to book 3 in the series.

I started this, the second book in the King Brother series yesterday evening and finished within 24 hours.
This is definitely the sequel you want to read! A good solid 10⭐️ read that delves more into the twisted work of Lance and Wesley King.
God, Lance is some piece of work isn’t he! I must say Casey Kelleher has introduced us to some characters since 2011 but Lance is a different level altogether. His lack of morals, involvement in past disappearances and his smarmy attitude is crying out for him to get caught…. With Wes realising he can’t be saved and the Officers Pinckney and Foster on his heels can Jolie and Kane be saved is the question…

This series is amazing—gritty and gripping. Steve is struggling in prison, while Jolie wrestles with her feelings as Lance King enters her life and woos her. Wes King is trying to keep Lance in check, as Detective Hannah Pinkey closes in on him. It’s an addictive read, and I can’t wait for book three from this very talented author.

Gripping storyline
Wow!! This book had me hooked from the start, excitement, anger, stomach churning, upset, you get all the emotions trying to get to the end.
And you think you know the ending then bang....you really dont. Had a bit of a soft spot for Wesley but Lance grrrr....really is a man with a black heart and soul. Cant wait for the next one.

Another great read
Another fantastic read by a great author. She never fails to keep you totally enthralled in the story. This book had me glued from start to finish. I totally enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Can’t wait to see if the story continues in another book.

Absolutely stellar and somehow significantly more gripping than Buried, which has shocked me as Buried had me absolutely hooked.

I had to keep taking a break with this book it got a bit too much just as I like it ! Lance King is one evil sadistic sick bastard. What I love though is there has to be another installment from Lance must remember to breathe! Absolutely brilliant book !
