Rate this book
Margo Turner has spent fifty years taking care of everyone else. Now, with the Shack in capable hands and her oldest friends conspiring to fill her calendar, she's faced with a question she never what does she want for herself?

As her great-granddaughter Stella captures a truth in photographs that Margo isn't ready to see, and the Circle pulls her toward something that looks suspiciously like a second chance at love, the woman who built the Beach Shack might finally discover that the best stories don't always end where you think they will.

Great book! This has been an excellent series. Most of it can be called "human interest" because it is daily lives, family situations and friendly advice. An elderly man named Bernie has been a constancy and I'm sure everyone loves him. He has been a fixture in the corner booth of The Shack for years and years. When he moves to the counter stool or asks Grandma Margo to dance at a wedding, people stop, people stare and world seems to shift. I laughed. So many promises made and most all promises kept except when one promise is broken, everyone carries the burden of the empty chair. This story will hold your interest on every page until The End. Wonderful writing!
