This audiobook was fantastic.
It is produced in a graphic audio style so there are sound FX and music.
The story was good, not great but the world building is here. I was confused a little bit but it works itself out nicely.
Kai and Eryn are cute... she is scared of using her power and being discovered. He is the most powerful of his kind. She wanted to find her bonded at first but believes he wants to destroy or use her for her power.
Kai is... alot. He knows who she is from the beginning and he is determined to make her see him as more than his faction and that he truly wants her. Eryn honestly got on my nerves alot in this book. I do love how she is one of the more powerful creatures but she almost knows nothing about how anything goes. She doesn't even know the extent of her power because she has had to hide it her whole life.
I am excited for the next installment.

This is a 4.5 star read for me!
I really loved all the world building that naturally accompanied the plot! Eryn and Kai were super fun to read, and while there were a couple small moments that dragged in pace, I really enjoyed this book! I did wish that they went more into the factions and maybe had them there instead of on the college campus the whole time, but I know we will probably learn more in the next book.
I loved the yearning (duh), the spice, and all of the magical/paranormal vibes, and I can't wait to read the second book soon!
