The DUKE’s Wicked Offer

The Duke’s Wicked Offer is a good book. James marries Elenor for convenience and to mask his hidden agenda after he learns she has been telling people she is engaged to him. It is just a sham marriage but Elenor is hard to resist and their chemistry is hot. James tries to remain cold and in control but hot and sexy Elenor wins out and he can’t stop himself from making love to her. But because of him she is in grave danger. Can he protect her and will love win out for Elenor and James?

Good but could have been better.

There wasn’t much chemistry between Eleanor and James. It seemed a little forced. I don’t think the ending really resolved what was going on. Which was kinda confusing at times. I found the story with Eleanor’s sister and father an interesting side story. Maybe the next book could continue that story line. I did enjoy the book and would recommend it.

“The Duke’s Wicked Offer” by Olivia T. Bennet

-This Regency romance follows Lady Eleanor and Duke James in a marriage born from desperation and secrets. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

The mystery surrounding James’s parents and Eleanor’s troubled family adds depth and danger to the plot. An enjoyable slow-burn with strong side characters. Another enjoyable tale from the author.

This asshole wasn't as compelling as the last asshole and I'm just not in the mood. I'm actually bored with this one and don't under the FMC. I'm DNFing at 41% I have being mean and cruel to women fatigue. It's everywhere in real life too and I'm tired. I also want ONE trauma per book. Not one person with several or each person with their own. One trauma per book is enough for me personally. Your mileage may vary. (his offer wasn't even wicked)

Little did she know that he would hear that she claimed to be engaged to him. When he comes to claim his bride little does he know that he is rescuing her from her father and nasty step sister. Secrets come out and danger lurks. Will James find out what happened to his parents or lose his heart? Ms Bennet delivers another wonderful story.

The elusive Duke, James, & Lady Eleanor are thrown together by different reasons..there is a dark secret which only one other person is privileged to know. Trying to find answers is almost impossible while being sidetracked by feelings for his wife & trying to protect her.

Amazing and Heartfelt Writing!!!

Love James's and Elenor's story! He was obsessed and determine to seek justice. She was living the life of a servant in her own home. Once they were together attraction sparkle! They realized that together, they could have so much more. Hugely Recommended!!!!
