A Champion bull rider in need of a reputation salvage. The ambitious intern who excels at spin. A forced exile and an unexpected baby. What else could go wrong?
At the end of the American Extreme Bull Rider tour, fan favorite Cash Hunter again sits at the top of the leaderboard. Standing in the winner’s circle opining about his chances in the finals, a woman he’s never seen runs toward him cursing before shoving a baby into his arms and disappearing. Suddenly the golden boy’s tarnished.
Madelyn Ramone always prepares for success and disaster. While tour execs panic, Maddy steps up with her redemption plan. Publicly embrace fatherhood. Go home. Lay low. Document daddy moments. Take a DNA test. Accompanying him wasn’t part of her plan. She’s going to need her own Kevlar vest to resist his potent sexual pull.
Cash is furious. No one believes the child isn’t his, especially the coolly judgmental Maddy. But he needs her. And she’s gunning for the opportunity. Neither wants to buckle up and head to the small Montana town that holds unpleasant associations and memories for them both.
Sinclair has loved reading romance novels since she discovered Barbara Cartland historical romances when she was in sixth grade. By seventh grade, she was haunting the library shelves looking to fall in love over and over again with the heroes born from the imaginations of her favorite authors. After teaching writing classes and workshops to adults and teens for many years in Seattle and Portland, she returned to her first love of reading romances and became an editor for Tule Publishing last year. Sinclair lives in Oregon’s wine country where she and her family own a small vineyard of Pinot Noir and where she dreams of being able to write at a desk like Jane Austen instead of in parking lots waiting for her kids to finish one of their 12,000 extracurricular activities.
I liked this story but there’s things about it that were unexpected and I’m not sure worked for me. It’s almost too many tropes in one story to work. The prodigal son, the accidental baby, the enemies to lovers. That being said Maddy and Cash are adorable and really and truly made for one another. The ending was a miss with the (stop here spoilers ahead) get your girl but oh wait there’s still legal drama with the baby sister and the possible black sheep dad. Complex family relationships are all well and good and add depth to a story but sometimes too much is just too much. For me it’s a 3/5.

Bull Rider’s Baby Surprise: A Small Town Rodeo Romance is the third book in The Telford’s of Montana series by Sinclair Jayne. This is a fabulous addition to the Telford family books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It is set in my favorite fictional town of Marietta, Montana and involves a secret family and a secret baby. We meet Cash Hunter, a champion bull rider with the American Extreme Bull Rider tour. He has just been recognized as the winner and an unknown woman shows up and thrusts a baby into his arms. She calls him a deadbeat dad and escapes. Everyone is shocked and Cash’s reputation takes a nosedive. Management assign the marketing intern, Madelyn Ramone, to go with him and the baby and figure it out. They will search for the woman and get a DNA test to discover if the baby is Cash’s. He says it is not his child. They tell him to lay low and visit family.
Cash has no family he is aware of. His mother left him and then he was in the system. Madelyn is set to complete her internship and move to a big city and get a great job. We learn she grew up in Marietta in a group home. She never had much to her name and is still watching her money. Cash isn’t certain where the three of them should go and then they are involved in a near accident and the other couple includes is a woman Maddy grew up with, Riley Telford. They decide to get a suite at the Graff hotel in Marietta and accept Riley’s invitation to dinner with her family. It is quite an evening when all the Telfords see the family resemblance in Cash and the baby. They all agree to join Cash for the DNA testing. Maddy and Cash let down their walls and become closer and there’s lots of chemistry. Both have bonded with the baby too. The future is uncertain for everyone and Maddy is questioning her plans.
This is such a heartwarming story with lots of suspense, twists, surprises, drama and romance. The characters are genuine and Maddy and Cash learn to trust and depend on each other, making them a terrific couple. I love how so many people we’ve met in Sinclair’s prior books are included in this new story as well. It is a well written story that is so enjoyable and exciting to read. Like all of Sinclair’s books, I highly recommend it and give it 5 stars.
I was fortunate to receive this ARC from Tule Publishing in exchange for my honest review.
When a random woman turns up at champion bull rider Cash Hunter's prize ceremony and shoves a baby into his arms, cursing him for abandoning the child and then vanishing, it looks like his whole carefully curated reputation is going up in smoke. Cash is certain he doesn't know the woman but everyone immediately assumes he is responsible, including his AEBR management team. Madelyn Ramone is interning with the AEBR for a year as a stepping stone to bigger and better things in New York. She's an expert on image management and steps up with a plan to rehabilitate the delinquent father. Only her boss makes it a special project, sending Chase home to his family with Madelyn along to document the process. Problem is, Chase doesn't really have a family. His father abandoned his mother and while he knows the name of the family, he's never really been keen on making a connection considering they abandoned him. Yet with a baby on his hands and needing somewhere to go, somehow he ends up heading to Marietta, where he knows Taryn Telford, former rodeo star, has a family spread. Madelyn is unimpressed about heading back to Marietta where she has only bad memories. Yet almost immediately, she and Chase are drawn into the Telford family circle when she meets an old friend who married into the family. It is quite a journey for both Cash and Madelyn. They find they have far more in common than they believed, when circling each other warily on the bull riding tour. Baby Bronte is a real catalyst, forcing them together and driving engagement with the Telford family. I loved how Cash and Madelyn slowly get to know each other. The intimate scenes are mostly closed door so that is left to your imagination. But it's the talking to each other and gradually revealing their past that really brings them close. The ending, while not unexpected, was very satisfying and the resolution with Bronte was lovely. It was great to catch up with the Telfords and Wilders who feature in other books by the author.

Cash is a top bull rider, he's worked his way up from nothing, he never knew his father and his mother left him with his grandmother, then he ended up in care and many foster homes, but through grit, hard work and determination he's got to the top. At the presentation of his last but one ride in this series, he's completely confused when a woman in the crowd rushes through and presents him with a baby, who he's absolutely certain isn't his, although no one seems to believe him. Madelyn is working as an intern with the intention of then going to a job in New York, where all her marketing skills will be valued, she's didn't know her father and her mother wasn't too good either, so she has something in common with Cash, not that either of them know that, she thinks he hates her but actually he's intrigued by her, even she believes that the baby is his. The whole team have to decide how to portray Cash in a good light, they earn a lot from him, to them he's a product not really a person, so they decide he ought to go to his family and hide out with them, keeping a low profile until the DNA can prove if he's the father or not. Cash doesn't really know where to go, but drives, with Madelyn to document what is happening, to Marietta, which is where Madelyn came from, not that he knows that. When they stop to help a couple with a horse box who have been nearly run off the road, things change, the woman recognises Madelyn but calls her by a different name, and she looks at Cash and invites them over for supper that night. And a whole lot of information and understanding occurs. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Bull Rider’s Baby Surprise is the third title in The Telfords of Montana series, where a completely surprised Cash has to deal with not only a baby pushed into his arms at the winner’s circle but his attraction to the volatile Madelyn (Maddy), who is supposed to be the expert at spinning and rebranding tarnished reputations… like his is right now. Neither expected the sparks that flew between them, far beyond the annoyance level, but that never stopped either of them before. Also, neither wants to return to Marietta, Montana… but neither has a choice about that either.
Sometimes, I’ll read a story and completely fall in love with it and the main characters as well. That was the case with Cash and Maddy. There are also times when the less said in a review, the better. There are surprises for both Cash and Maddy, connections and revelations that neither was aware of. Those surprises and the resolution of the connections are best read firsthand. I do feel comfortable saying that this is a fantastic addition to the series. Bull Rider’s Baby Surprise is well-written, emotional, and full of secrets and simmering tensions. If you enjoy a romance with believable characters, realistic situations, a few puzzles to put together, and a couple that really do belong together, then you’ll love Maddy and Cash’s story.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the author or the author’s team via Booksprout, and I sincerely thank them for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
Packed with emotional moments, The Bullrider’s Baby Surprise, brings together two people who felt let down by the people who should have loved them when they were young but who have risen to be strong, self-sufficient and successful adults in spite of that. While Madelyn Ramone exudes a confident but insular personality, Cash Hunter has built a stage persona that is all about success as a bullrider and providing a wholesome image for his sponsors. At 25, he’s independently wealthy and has a business plan in place that will have him working the rodeo circuit for five more years before retiring. While he has an image as a bit of a player, he’s careful to only enjoy the compaly of women who also want a no strings night out. Having a baby all but thrown at him by a stranger in the most public way possible is definitely not what Cash had expected but thankfully Maddie is there to help the AEBR and Cash clean up his suddenly tarnished image before the final rodeo of the season. Thrown together, the two of them discover that not only is the physical attraction between them undeniable, but they enjoy each other’s company as well. With baby Bronte in the mix, they exude the impression of a happy little family, even if that’s not the case. I loved watching these two falling in love while at the same time dealing with the demons of their past. I also loved watching the Telford ranching family get to know them and slowly accept them both into the fold. This story is engaging throughout and, in my opinion, one of Sinclair Jayne’s best.
Cash is a champion bull rider at the top of his game, but a stranger shoves a baby in his arms and claims the baby is his, and suddenly his world is turned upside down. Cash knows the baby isn't his, but this could ruin his reputation and hard-earned career.
Madelyn is interning for the tour, and she is assigned to help Cash's reputation while they figure out who the baby belongs to. Maddy creates a plan for them, and they hit the road to lay low while everything is sorted.
A chance meeting on the road compels Cash to check into rumors from his childhood and potentially meet his biological family. With Maddy by his side, he greets them. It's apparent he's related to the family, and possibly the baby is, too, and several members agree to DNA tests.
Maddy has secrets from her childhood, too, which helps Cash and she bond. As they work together to find the truth, both must reckon with their pasts in order to move forward. Maddy has big plans for the future, and this job is her ticket to NY. Working close with Cash is a temptation she doesn't need, and she tries hard to fight the feelings passing between them.
When the DNA test results are in, the results are surprising. Maddy's job is done, but is her heart ready to move on? Could there be a future with Cash, and could she stay in the one place she doesn't want to live? Can Cash find love in his heart and give Maddy a reason to stay?
Bull Rider’s Baby Surprise is another great, well-written story from Sinclair Jayne. This is a fabulous series that I can highly recommend to anyone who enjoys emotional contemporary western romance with strong characters and plenty of heart.
This story focuses on Cash Hunter, a bull rider whose life is turned upside down when he is handed a baby he insists is not his. The situation creates plenty of drama, emotion, and unexpected tenderness as Cash struggles with responsibility, reputation, and his own feelings. Maddy Ramone from ABER Media is drawn into the chaos as she tries to help uncover the truth while dealing with her growing connection to Cash.
The chemistry between Cash and Maddy is wonderfully written, and the emotional development feels believable throughout the story. Sinclair Jayne does an excellent job balancing romance, family complications, humour, and heartfelt moments. The baby storyline adds warmth and vulnerability to the rugged cowboy setting, making the characters even more engaging.
Fans of cowboy romance and small-town family series will thoroughly enjoy this book. The Telfords of Montana series continues to deliver strong storytelling, lovable characters, and satisfying romance.

Cash Hunter is at the top of his game in The American Extreme Bull Rider tour and is in line to take the top prize. But all of a sudden that could all be derailed when a woman comes and announces that he is the father of a baby and she leaves him dumb struck sputtering to everyone that that baby is not is and she leaves the baby with him....He needs help quick.
Madelyn Ramone is always prepared for a success and disasters on the tour and because of her past she knows just what needs to be done to help out with the baby, even though she is very reluctant, as babies and cowboys are not in her future plans. But the powers that be see it that she is the one to get Cash out of this impending media nightmare.
So the two, along with the baby go on an the road to find out why the small town of Marietta is in their past and might hold the key to the future while finding out who just fathered this sweet little girl.
I like this story, it has cowboys, babies, found family and most of all a found love that will make a family for this sweet baby. A story that is going to touch your heart. For fans of small town romance this a read for you. And it will have new fans wanting to read it too.

I’ll admit it took me a chapter or two to get hooked. I loved the banter and the instant connection between Cash and Madelyn, but I needed the storyline to move a bit before it truly pulled me in. Once I reached my aha moment, though, I was all in. Both Cash and Madelyn have had hard, character‑shaping journeys, and that clearly influences how they see the world and approach life. I really liked the choice to have Cash head “home” to learn more about his family—especially as this is where Madelyn’s roots are. It adds depth and makes their story feel more grounded and emotional. The twists involving Petal and Bronte bring added emotional layers to the plot and play an important role in Cash’s personal growth. At its heart, this is a story about two people who didn’t truly have a family growing up—one who left home at sixteen and another who came through the foster care system—finding purpose, each other, and ultimately creating a family of their own. With banter, spice, and engaging family dynamics, this is a story that draws you in and stays with you.

If you are searching for a story that captures the soul of Big Sky Country while pulling at your heartstrings, this book is an absolute gem. It successfully balances the rugged, dusty charm of the rodeo world with a sweet, clean, and deeply heartwarming narrative that emphasizes character growth over high-octane drama. Sinclair Jayne has crafted a beautifully written tale that proves some of life’s best moments are the ones we never saw coming. It is the ultimate comfort read for anyone who enjoys watching a tough-as-nails hero like Cash be completely undone by a tiny baby, or a driven professional like Maddy find her true home in the most unlikely of places. Whether you are a die-hard fan of small-town romances or just looking for a wholesome escape, this story offers a gentle, satisfying reminder that family is something you build with love, one "surprise" at a time. Highly recommended! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Well written, full of drama, surprises, family, friends, cowboys, emotions, mystery, baby, rodeo and a baby. Cash Hunter is on a high at the rodeo as a champion bull rider. While in the winner circle, a strange woman comes up to him and pushes a baby into his arms. He is shocked as he doesn't know the woman or the baby. His promoter wants Madelyn Ramone to help him clear up this mess but till than he needs to show everyone he is a good Daddy. They travel back to his home in Marietta, where a friend of his tries to help. Cash has taken a paternity test and needs to wait to find out what the results are but it takes time for them . Madelyn and Cash work together to make a home for the baby Bronte. Feelings and emotions run high for them both. The characters are witty, each has their own emotional journey and plans for their lives. Good storyline. Would recommend to everyone this story and the rest of this series.

Bull Riders Baby Surprise by Sinclair Jayne is a small-town story that is the third in the Telfords of Montana Series. This book is about more than having some woman saying a rodeo bull rider is the father of a baby. Cash Hunter is at the top of the finals when this happens. He takes baby Bronte to the Telford Ranch by accident or providence. He faces the challenges, deals with the answer and grows as a person. I can count on Sinclair Jayne to have some unexpected twist in a story this one has a big one because knows he is not the father. Madelyn Ramone becomes his support, then his love but she resists it for most of the book. She has other plans than staying in Marietta, Montana.
The beginning is rough as Cash and Madelyn work through the unexpected and disliked events but after Cash meets family, learning some truths, the relationship begins to ease as well as the atmosphere of the story. A genuine, modern-day story where your past and parent neglect does not need to be the deciding factor for what kind of person you will be. Cash and Madelyn prove it to all.
Heartwarming romance - This is the second book that's made me cry this weekend. Cash and Madelyn (Maddy) are more alike than they ever knew. But he's a playboy to his core and she's got dreams that are bigger than the Western rodeo circuit. When a baby gets dumped into his arms, the rodeo executives rally to save the reputation of their highest earner. He'll take responsibility for the wee babe, and she'll film it all, fodder for social media likes. A visit to Marietta, MT, brings more changes, as family connections are made that Cash only ever imagined. All with Maddy by his side and someone's baby in his arms. They weren't playing at being a happy family, but that's what they became, their hearts opening to each other without any pretense involved. I love my visits to Marietta and this story was no exception. Old favorites are joined by new, the town changing even as so much remains the same.

Bull Rider’s Baby Surprise: A Small Town Rodeo Roma... Book 3 of The Telfords of Montana by Sinclair Jayne In this story Cash is handed his child that he didn't even know existed and the woman leaves along with the receipt of everything she ordered that the baby would need. Madelyn is nearby she's an assistant and intern on the rodeo with reports of events and other things that occur. He gets an idea to head to his father's house who he's never met along with his brothers and sisters and the whole family. Love how they are greeted in Marietta with familiar places I am used to. Everybody is waiting on the paternity test to see where the truths lie. Maddie plans to leave to head back to NY for her job. She wants no part of Cash and the baby but then they name the baby and they both become very close. great read, love catching up with the others I've read about prior. Received this review copy from Tule Publishing via BookSprout and this is my honest opinion.
As Cash stands in the winner's circle a woman shoves a baby into his arms. The woman is a complete stranger to him. It is not that he couldn't have a child out there somewhere, but very unlikely. He is not the womanizer the papers make him out to be and he is extremely careful in that department. Once the news hits people are calling him a deadbeat dad. No one seems to believe him that it is not his baby. His agent decides it best for him to take the baby to his family and get some good images of him playing daddy so they can spin this his way. Now he has to deal with Madelyn as she tries to salvage his reputation. He knows she dislikes him. Now she is assigned the job of accompanying him home to his family ranch with the baby. Once they thought they were complete opposites. As they spend time together trying to locate the baby mama they realize that they are not so different. When everything settles we find out just what kind of man Cash really is.
This was an interesting and fun book from the first page to the last!
Championship bull rider, in the winner's circle right before the Championships gets handed an unexpected 'prize'. A baby thrown into his arms by a woman he's never seen! Wowza! Not good for the 'family friendly' image he's promoting. Fortunately there is an intern whos job is spinning a story. Now he's 'stuck' with the baby girl and the intern until the mom can be found and he can get on with his life.
As a 'throwaway' kid himself, his attitude towards the baby begins to thaw and his interest in the intern heats up. She was also a 'throwaway kid' in the foster care system. Heading to his possible family's ranch to wait out the month, with baby and intern, DNA testing comes into play and surprises abound.
A feel good book that keeps moving along in the best direction!
Book three of "The Telfords of Montana" series. Cash Hunter has clawed his way to the winner's circle at the AERP many times but this might be the most memorable - for all the wrong reasons. In the midst of doing promos and interviews, a strange woman runs up screeching at him and shoves a baby into his arms. Cash is stunned. The woman was a complete stranger - the baby can't be his. The promoters task Madelyn Ramone with putting a positive spin on the entire situation. They insist that she stays with him for the next month, getting ahead of the PR. This is a really good book but keep the tissues handy - you'll need them when the ugly crying starts.
Love Swirls around Madelyn and Cash but neither one is certain of accepting it.Both abandoned as children, love is an illusion. Unexpected baby Bronte is literally thrust upon Cash. Madelyn is AERB intern and tasked with providing the media information on Cash’s new life as a baby daddy. Change becomes the new norm for both Cash and Madelyn as their lives begin to weave around Bronte and each other. A sweet growing into love story. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Cash is top of the charts in bull riding when he gets a baby shoved into his arms in front of the cameras but he knows she is not his but Madelyn the PR for the rodeo wants to play him up as the responsible dad that did not walk away from his responsibilities. Along the way he finds the family he never knew he had and the one woman he is ready to commit to but Maddy has dreams of New York. This is a well written book that is romantic and heart warming.

When Cash is handed a baby by a woman claiming it’s his, everything changes for the champion bull rider. He is forced to take a break from the tour. Madelyn Ramone, the marking intern for AEBR tour, is forced to tag along with Cash to document his instant fatherhood. But this is just the start of this story. So much more happens to make it one extremely memorable books. This is a heartfelt and emotional story with great characters and an amazing storyline.
Rodeo intern Madelyn makes assumptions about champion bull rider Cash especially when a woman thrusts a baby claiming it’s his after he wins and runs. Chase knows nothing about babies but he’s forced to learn fast while facing a family he thinks abandoned him with Madelyn’s reluctant assistance. Madelyn has career plans that don’t include falling for Cash and caring for another baby as she did in foster care. The baby provides several funny and sweet moments in this steamy romance.
Such an emotional story. sinclair Jayne is an excellent storyteller. The characters are realistic and interesting. Cash and Maddy are meant to be together. Their journey is emotional charged. She doesn’t go easy on him but she helps him find his path. I loved this book. It makes me want to live in Marietta Montana witj the Telford family . I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Bull Rider Baby Surprise is book 3 in the Telfords of Montana series by Sinclair, Jayne 4.5 stars
When you are at the top of the Bull Rider tour, working with an ABER media person, then suddenly a situation creates total havoc. Read on for Cash and Maddie’s story that includes complicated family situations, humor, small town, romance, family, emotional and hopefully they find their HEA.

Sweet, clean, closed-door romance that is beautifully written. Cash and Madelyn both grew up without family, both were in the foster system, and both left feeling unwanted.
But family isn't always the ones you grew up with or were born into; it's who you choose.

The Bull Rider's Baby Surprise: A Small town Rodeo romance. Another heart-warming possible romance in The Telfords of Montana series. I really enjoyed the character development and characters in the story. Sinclair Jayne gives you a character driven story that kept me intrigued from beginning to the end.
I love Madelyn and Cash. At first glance they are polar opposites but as they are forced into a situation together and learn about each other they find out just how much they actually have in common. This was such a good read full of growth, hope and not only finding love but finding themselves and what really matters.
Oh boy what a barrel full of secrets this one is. Absolutely loved it. I think Cash and Maddy are my favorite couple yet in this series. It is such a heartwarming series with lots of love and a few heart wrenching moments in the mix. Can’t wait for book 4. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this western romance and always welcome a chance to visit Marietta, Montana. I enjoyed the characters, especially a strong heroine. This tale varied from the predictable romance formula in perfect ways.
