Ines Gray is a paranormal fantasy romance author with an obsession for fallen angels, shifters, vampires, and dark prophecies. Hailing from the Midwest, she weaves supernatural stories with gritty suspense, mystery, and heat. Drawing on global mythology, she creates multicultural, crossover casts that reflect the rich lore shaping her worlds. Her mission? To write as many stories as possible about immortals lurking in the shadows of our world that keep you turning the pages. When she's not conjuring forbidden love, Ines indulges in action and horror movies, travel, and (of course) devouring paranormal and fantasy romance.
Angel Bite is a thrilling continuation of the Watchers and Warriors series that successfully deepens the lore of this fascinating universe. The story follows Claire, a fierce and independent heroine, and Seung, a morally gray hero who is the complete package: emotionally aware, intense, and harboring a dangerous demon side. When their paths collide during a desperate quest to save a friend, they are forced to confront twenty years of buried secrets. I was immediately hooked by their "enemies-to-lovers" dynamic, which evolves into a high-stakes, fated-mates journey. The author does an excellent job balancing the tension with a reincarnation twist that gives their connection real emotional weight. With multiple perspectives and a growing cast of well-developed characters, this book is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance who enjoy tortured guardians and intricate world-building. I am already eager for the next installment in this wild, immersive series. Huge thanks to Ines Gray for the ARC copy; it was my pleasure to go along for the ride. Content Warning: Please be advised that this book contains intense emotional themes, graphic depictions of fantasy violence, and mature adult content including sexually explicit scenarios.
Having read the first in this series, and absolutely loving it, I was very much looking forward to reading Claire and Seung’s story. And not only was I NOT disappointed, I believe I loved this one even more.
Claire and Seung find themselves thrust together in a quest to save her best friend. However, as the story unfolds, we find out they each have secrets and literal demons of their own to fight.
Their chemistry and attraction is off the charts. Seung is the best kind of morally gray hero. And Claire is an independent, strong, and badass heroine. At first, they’re like oil and water, fighting their attraction to each other. But when they finally give in to their desires, it was my pleasure to go along for the ride.
This series will take hold of you and linger long after you read “The End.” Lucky for us, author Ines Gray has many more characters and stories to add to this universe. I can’t wait for the next book in the Watchers and Warriors realm. Buckle up, buttercup, we’re in for a wild journey!
For best reading enjoyment, the series is best read in order.
I was able to be an ARC reader for the first release of this series, and now, with the second book, let me tell you, I was excited to jump back into this world, which is an understatement.
Claire is such a total badassss! I love her, I relate to her, and I totally want to be her when I grow up lol. Seung, our knight and total daddy, is the complete package. Amazing body, emotionally aware, touch her and die vibes, with a kinky demon side. This book got me so hooked so quickly. Between our main characters and the world-building, I just want to keep reading more. I enjoyed the knew characteres introduced and the twists and turns of this book. I like the way the books intertwined together, and we still got different point if views all throughout the book. I am dying for the next book I already know the story is going to be a wild ride.
Angel Bite pulls you deeper into the Watchers and Warriors world with a tense, emotional fated‑mates story. Claire has spent twenty years hiding from the night that nearly killed her, and Seung Moon has spent just as long fighting the darkness inside him. When their lives collide again, the truth about angels, demons, and past lives rises to the surface. The chemistry is intense, the danger is constant, and the reincarnation twist adds real weight to their connection. A strong follow‑up for readers who enjoy tortured guardians and high‑stakes paranormal romance.
Angel Bites was a refreshing break from the heavier, more serious books I’ve been reading lately. I really loved Claire and the journey she went on. Her relationship with Seung was my favorite part of Angel Redeemed (Book 1), and it continued to be a highlight in this book as well. While the story was a bit predictable for me, I still genuinely enjoyed reading it.
This book was even better than the first book and both were fantastic! I love Claire and Seung’s story! It is hot and the writer is delicious in her storytelling and scene descriptions.
A lost friend. Demonic urges. Waiting for the other heel to drop.
As a child, Claire had her world ripped apart. Now her best friend is missing, her guardian died in her arms, and her ex is acting strange. It has not been a good couple of weeks.
After regenerating, Seung is desperate to get back to Claire and pick up where they left off — but with a dark hunger always close and a soul mate due any day, they’re running out of time.
This book delivers tension, heat, and supernatural chaos, but it’s been a while since I read book one, and I felt that gap. There are callbacks, just not enough to fully reignite all the intensity. I’d definitely recommend reading books one and two back‑to‑back to keep the emotional momentum sharp. This is a great read on its own, but it hits harder when everything is still fresh.
