Fleeing her wedding and a toxic relationship in her white gown, Peyton jumps on the first bus out of town—and straight into billionaire Liam Rockwood. Literally. Distracted by her search for a place to stay, she steps into the street and sends the town’s most eligible bachelor crashing off his bike!
Liam is furious. His suit is ruined, he’s late for an event at his hotel, and now the runaway bride responsible is trying to check in. Worse, the small-town rumor mill quickly decides Peyton must be his secret new wife.
When Liam’s father arrives ready to celebrate the “happy couple,” Liam makes Peyton an offer: a temporary marriage of convenience. She gets protection against her vindictive ex, a home, and a fresh start. He gets the wife his family expects.
As crisp fall days turn into cozy nights, they carve pumpkins, steal kisses in the corn maze, and share secrets in the dark. Suddenly, their fake marriage starts feeling dangerously real. But falling was never part of the plan…

Marriage of convenience and only-one-bed? Sign me up!
The beginning of this book was a hot mess of things a normal human would never do. From overdosing on paracetamol and washing it down with booze (please don’t EVER do that) to marrying a complete stranger to impress your dad. Like, no sane person would do any of those things. And yet, I ate it all up 😋
I loved the dynamic between Payton and Liam. Their chemistry was amazing. The sort of fake relationship that wasn’t really fake because they were attracted to each other from the beginning 😏, the waking up all tangled up despite falling asleep on opposite sides of the bed 🤭, the stolen kisses, and the way they always, always had each other’s backs. It made my heart sing.
Also, there was no third-act breakup 🙂↕️
Seriously, I loved this book so much!
However.
You might be wondering why it’s not getting all the stars from me. Well, I had one pretty big issue with it: Liam’s perfectly perfect and perfectly platonic single, attractive, straight female best friend. I don’t trust that shit. I don’t care if the hero was in love before; in fact, it often adds depth to his character. But the thing about those past loves or lovers is that once the hero is with the heroine, they don’t matter. The effin best friend, on the other hand, is there to stay. To annoy me. She even gets an effin SELFIE from their bed 😭 Wtf, are they 16? 😭
Platonic-shmatonic. If a man is that close with another woman, it’s never a good thing. Also, such arrangements only work in books; in real life, they’re a recipe for disaster.
Okay, rant over.
All in all, I still recommend it, especially if you don’t mind the bestie thing.
Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the arc, all opinions are my own.
Small-town charm, fall festivals, and a marriage of convenience? I was sold immediately. 🍂💛
Peyton and Liam were such a sweet match. I loved watching them build a relationship where they could simply be themselves, without trying to fit into someone else’s expectations. The marriage of convenience setup gave them the chance to really get to know each other, and I loved how they encouraged each other to be braver, whether that meant standing up to family expectations or embracing who they truly are.
The fall atmosphere was absolutely perfect. From football games and pumpkin festivals to corn mazes, book clubs and small-town traditions, the seasonal setting felt woven into the story rather than simply serving as a backdrop. Add in the wonderful friendships, the charming side characters, and plenty of tension and banter, and I found myself smiling through most of the book. 🎃🍁
This was a cozy, feel-good romance that left me crossing my fingers for more stories about the other founding families. Lila and Emma better each get their own books!! 🤞
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
╰┈➤ « So we’re both crazy. Great foundation for a marriage. »
Peyton run away from a toxic relationship on the day of her wedding, still in her bride dress and end up fake marrying a billionaire and hotel owner Liam.
Oh..my..god…this was so cute !!! I loved the tension that Liam and Peyton have from the start. But also the flirting, the jealousy, and how fast they fall for each other was adorable.
Peyton and Liam ? Where to even begin omg…they were soo cute and sweet and so perfect for each other! I loved Liam…such a green flag from the start (tho I was with Peyton for the accident in the beginning ;) ) I loved how he was so gentle, protective and helped Peyton a lot. Even when they just met ! And Peyton ! Such a baddie and brave, and I enjoyed seeing her be finally herself with Liam.
It was really a sweet love story, very relaxing and enjoyable !
I never read any other book from this author but now I’ll definitely check her other works!
Thank you to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and the author for this arc!!
"Liam, I look like a swamp witch, and I know zero facts about you other than you drive like a maniac and have daddy issues."
4⭐️
Now THIS is a great example of how you do fake dating x marriage of convenience! I ate this up like I hadn't been fed in days and the autumn setting was perfect. This is the second installment in Blue Crescent Harbor and in my opinion, the best so far!
Small town billionaire boy Liam has been trying to prove himself to his father in business and as a son. When he accidentally almost runs over a runaway bride, then finds her in his hotel lobby, rumours spread that he has a secret wife - and his father is ecstatic! Peyton took the first bus out of town to nowhere, leaving her abusive ex at the altar. But with his connections, he's now dead set on ruining hers and her family's life. So when Liam proposes a temporary marriage of convenience to prove himself to his father in exchange for helping her out of a legal mess, she reluctantly accepts in the hopes she can protect her parents. Though their attraction is there, falling is not part of the plan!
"For the last five minutes, I've been considering kissing you just to shut your pouty mouth."
Liam is your typical broody billionaire, but the way he falls first for Peyton is delicious. He really yearns for her despite their predicament, until he just can't contain it anymore! She's literally shouting at him and all he's doing is thinking about kissing her and nothing else appropriate for his not-so-real wife. Their forced proximity and that they had to share a bed from day one made the tension go from a spark to an inferno.
"Is that a fantasy of yours? Because I can shush you, if you like."
Peyton at first was hard to get a grasp on at first, but all the signs were blaring in our faces that she was in a horrible past relationship. From saying sorry when she did nothing wrong, to putting herself down when she received a compliment, to throwing food away when any comment is made about what she's eating. Girl... we all been there! I needed that emotionally healing for her and myself, making the romance all the more rewarding. She deserved someone who didn't try to fit her into a box and allowed her to shine by herself! And Liam was that man.
"Well, for you it's the strawberry toothpaste that does it, for me it's you destroying my enemies."
Don't even get me started on the banter and sass. Liam and Peyton could back and forth banter and bicker for forever. But the way Peyton put her foot down and didn't cower in situations meant too belittle her or Liam? Yeah, she defends her man! Fake husband of not. Lila and Peyton's friendship was so wholesome and genuine, and with the fall backdrop and events it just felt like a cozy read overall. I cannot wait for what's next at Blue Crescent Harbor!
"I googled the ending of the book on your nightstand. Oh, maaaan!"

🚨 SPOILER ALERT: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! I am giving Fall for Me by Camilla Isley an absolute 5-star review! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved this book and their story so very much! I'm giving it as many stars as are possible. So when I read book 1 in this Blue Crescent Harbour series, I thought nothing could top Faye and Ryder... well, boy was I wrong! This sequel is an absolute masterpiece that you will want to read on your Kindle screen immediately. ARC Disclosure: Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing an early digital review copy (eARC). All thoughts and reflections shared here are entirely my own. The Review Fall for Me returns to the charming, atmospheric community of Blue Crescent Harbour, and it completely raises the bar for the entire series. Moving from the initial foundational setup of the first book, this installment dives into a high-stakes, deeply intimate arrangement that forces two opposing personalities to navigate their lives together. Camilla Isley weaves small-town charm with intense, underlying vulnerability, crafting a plot where the domestic proximity challenges the characters to confront their deepest family pressures. It is an exquisitely paced, heartwarming contemporary romance that perfectly delivers both emotional depth and high-heat tension. The Good Liam and Peyton are amazing, fantastic, and everything I didn't know I needed. Seriously! All tropes here work perfectly well together: fake marriage, grumpy x sunshine, and forced proximity. Add to that superb sexy banter, yearning, a slow burn, and a "he falls first and hardest" dynamic that is so strong! Small SPOILER ALERT here: The way Peyton puts Liam's father in his place while earning his respect is beyond words! And Liam suddenly not giving a rat's as*s about what his family thinks, leaving, and following Peyton? Top-tier MMC right there! End of spoiler.😅 And don't get me started on the town. Seeing our regular book 1 characters back was amazing, and having their two best friends, Emma and Lila, stealing the show at times was just sublime. Absolutely loved it, and I can't wait for book 3 on Lila! The Not So Good Literally nothing! It completely shattered my expectations for a second book, delivering a flawless romantic arc, incredible growth, and the absolute perfect setup for future installments
Peyton flees her wedding at the last minute, escaping in a corseted wedding dress with only her phone. She ends up in the small town of Blue Crescent Harbor where she is almost killed by a man driving a fancy motorbike too fast down the deserted main street. After a heated exchange of insults the man rides off leaving Peyton by the side of the road.
The rider was Liam Rockwood, running incredibly late to a cocktail party at his family's luxurious hotel. However, by the time he arrives, despite his injuries, he starts to feel sorry for the runaway bride and sends a town car to find her and take her wherever she wants to go - not realising that Peyton was in fact trying to reach the hotel to stay the night. When they run into each other in the lobby, while Peyton is trying to check in he puts her in the bridal suite to get rid of her - but the rumour mill goes crazy and Liam's father assumes that Peyton is Liam's new wife. Liam has been unfairly branded a playboy billionaire because an ex took a candid photo of him while sleeping and posted it on social media, since which Liam's father has never let him forget it. When his father is happy that Liam has decided to settle down Liam doesn't have the heart to tell him the truth.
Meanwhile, Peyton's fiancé has shown his controlling and manipulative streak. He threatens to sue Peyton's parents (who run a small CPA practice) for half the cost of the lavish wedding he and his parents insisted on, gets Peyton fired, and generally intends to make her life a misery. Can you see where this is going yet? Liam offers to rescue Peyton from her fiancé's vindictiveness if she will agree to marry him for maybe five years so that his father finally relinquishes control of the business to him.
I'm a sucker for a fake marriage, small-town billionaire romance complete with hay mazes and pumpkin carving. This was enjoyable, nothing I haven't read before but I would happily read it again.
I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley.
I am a longtime romance lover, and marriage of convenience is one of those tropes that almost always catches my attention. After reading “Rein Me In,” I was excited to return to this world, especially since Liam was one of the characters who stood out to me in the first book. Add in a runaway bride, a small-town setting, and a fake marriage, and I was more than ready to dive into this story.
I really liked both Peyton and Liam right away. My heart hurt for Peyton as more details about her previous relationship came to light. It quickly became clear that walking away from her wedding was one of the bravest things she could have done. I loved watching her slowly rebuild her confidence and realize that she deserved so much more than what she had settled for. Liam was easy to root for as well. Despite coming from one of the wealthiest families in town, he never felt arrogant or entitled. More than anything, he wanted to protect the people he cared about, and I loved how consistently he showed up for Peyton when she needed him most.
One of my favorite things about this book was how naturally the relationship developed. What starts as a practical arrangement slowly becomes something much deeper, and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way. There were several moments that made me smile, but there were also some emotional scenes that really highlighted how much both characters had grown. I also enjoyed getting to see more of Lila, and I am already looking forward to reading her story.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet, romantic, and had just the right amount of emotional depth. The epilogue was especially satisfying, and I loved getting one final glimpse into Peyton and Liam's future. I also have to admit that seeing Matt finally get what was coming to him was a very nice bonus.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**
Reading this is like listening to a banger you’ve just found on repeat.
It's a quick, easy read, and you truly don't need to know the first book in the series to pick this one up.
With Camilla's writing style, some things are always a given you come back for - the banter, the tension, the chemistry. She does a great job with creating excellent dynamics between her MCs, every time. And the slow burn is always worth it. Her books are almost exclusively closed door, but somehow you end up turned on anyway, because the characters' vibes are just this solid.
I like that they openly admit to being attracted to each other. It adds another layer to the tension and leads to some hilarious conversations. Uncertainty is not always needed, as much as it's preffered in most romances.
It's adorable how they both stand up for each other in their own ways, not expecting a pay off. I love watching people being there for someone just because they think that person deserves it and is worth fighting for.
Of course, Liam is pathetically gone for Peyton at a certain point, and that’s my favorite kind of man. Also, he's very funny and his need to assure her he doesn't want to control her is hot.
Peyton, on the other hand, is a mixture of overcorrecting and reverting back to old behaviors, and I easily see myself in that. I like that sometimes she's bold and sometimes she chokes. That's what healing looks like.
I’d have liked to hear a bit more about Liam taking Matt down, but it’s not something the book did wrong and more of a personal preference, because I’m fueled by rage (and caffeine) this year.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend. If you like marriage of convenience and need a quick pick-me-up, this is for you.
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and the author for letting me read the ARC!

My thoughts: This book was really cute! I love a runaway bride so I was pretty instantly hooked. It's so courageous to be shown someone's true colours in a big moment and not feel the pressure to ignore the red flags. Liam and Peyton had great chemistry and banter. I was sort of worried about the pacing at the start of the book just because there was a timeline placed on the fake marriage (3-5) years and the book itself was covering most days. I just had this little flag in my head worrying about it. But it turned out to be misplaced worry. I thought that Peyton and Liam's relationship progression felt very natural. The fall setting and activities were so cute and really lent to the cozy feelings of the book. The side characters were fun. Really enjoyable read overall!
Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the advanced e-copy in exchange for my honest thoughts.

It was easy to follow and had a good cast of characters with good pacing and lovely place settings in the story. I loved Peyton and Liam's chemistry and I wanted them to have their happy ending. Fall For Me is the perfect early Autumn read or anytime when you want something cute and cosy to read. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author. 💝 Thank you to Boldwood Books, the author Camilla Isley and Netgalley for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the third Camilla Isley book I've read, including the first book in this series, and I think it may be my favorite so far. I absolutely loved Liam and Peyton, and for me this one was even better than the first.
I have to admit that I HATE, HATE, HATE the billionaire trope. I wish authors would just call these characters millionaires or multi-millionaires and be done with it. Thankfully, "billionaire" was only thrown around a handful of times here, and the story was really much more of a fake marriage romance than a billionaire romance.
Peyton is a runaway bride who has a chance encounter with Liam. When the small town mistakenly believes they've secretly gotten married, they decide to make it official for three years so Liam can meet some family and career-related goals while Peyton gets help dealing with her incredibly toxic ex. It sounds a little wild on paper, but Isley made it work perfectly.
I loved the slow-burn development of Liam and Peyton's relationship. Watching the way Liam treated Peyton compared to the way her ex, best friend, and even parts of her family treated her really highlighted how much she deserved better. Their growing trust and support for one another felt genuine and satisfying.
This was such a fun, romantic read, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning. Highly recommend for fans of fake marriage romances, and I can't wait for book three featuring Liam's best friend as the main character!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC!
Fall For Me was the definition of cozy. The kind of cozy that feels like drinking hot chocolate topped with way too many marshmallows while curled up with a blanket on a rainy autumn afternoon.
From the moment Peyton fled her wedding and accidentally crashed into billionaire Liam Rockwood, I knew I was going to have a good time. The fake marriage trope is one of my favorites when it's done well, and Camilla Isley absolutely delivered.
What I loved most about this book was how tender it felt. The romance wasn't rushed. Instead, we got to watch Peyton and Liam slowly lower their guards, learn to trust each other, and allow themselves to believe in love again. Their relationship developed naturally, and every step of their journey felt earned.
I especially enjoyed how hesitant they both were at the beginning. Neither of them was looking for love, and yet little by little they became each other's safe place. And once they fell? They would have done absolutely anything for one another, which made their romance even sweeter.
The autumn atmosphere was perfect. Pumpkin carving, cozy nights, small-town charm, and all the fake-marriage tension you could ask for - it had everything I wanted from a fall romance.
Overall, this was a warm, comforting read with lovable characters, a swoony romance, and enough cozy vibes to make me want to immediately grab a blanket and reread it all over again. 🍂☕🧡
Camilla Isley is one of those authors whose books I pick up without even reading the blurb, and Fall for Me reminded me exactly why. From the moment Peyton runs away from her wedding and accidentally crashes into billionaire Liam Rockwood, I was hooked. It's chaotic, slightly ridiculous, and exactly the kind of rom-com setup I love. Throw in a marriage of convenience and I was sold. What I loved most about this book was Peyton and Liam together. The chemistry is there from the very beginning, but so are the friendship, trust, and support that make their relationship feel believable. Liam is an absolute green flag. He's protective without being controlling, supportive without expecting anything in return, and somehow manages to be both swoony and genuinely kind. Honestly, where can I order one? Peyton was just as easy to root for. After everything she's been through, watching her slowly rediscover herself and learn to trust again was one of my favorite parts of the story. I loved how comfortable she became around Liam and how he encouraged her to be exactly who she wanted to be. The fake marriage tension was excellent, the flirting was adorable, and the jealousy had me grinning more than once. There isn't much spice, but the chemistry between these two is so strong you could practically cut the tension with a knife. Add in the cozy autumn atmosphere, small-town charm, pumpkin carving, and plenty of heartwarming moments, and this was such an enjoyable read.
OH this was so much better then the first I’m so obsessed and I loved them so much, and again all the characters that were shown to us besides Matt I genuinely don’t think I truly hate any of them, AND I LOOVE LILA. I hope she has a book 💀 although idk, I get the vibes that the next will be abt Remy and somebody, which wouldn’t upset me at all.
About the book, which for those who don’t know this is fake marriage, one bed, small town, kinda found family, AND NO MISCOMMUNICATION, which now a days feels like a gift honestly, they communicate their feelings and thought through the book so incredibly well, tbh I was a little shocked since you don’t see much of it lately. It’s also slow burn, which I like, they only kiss for the first time past the half way mark.
The main character’s relationship was so cute and healthy…I honestly already liked Liam from the last book so it only made me like him even more now!! Th cuddling and reading together was such wholesome moments oh my goodness I loved it so much!! I also really loved Peyton, she was SO funny and I loved how she stood up for him when needed and how she knew what she wanted all throughout the book and never changed just to make others happy!
Overall I’m obsessed with this book and i literally can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out, and I can’t wait for this one to be available to buy cuz I’m DEFINITELY gonna be buying this series!!

This was a heartbreaking, small town romance. I absolutely loved Liam, he is the perfect bad boy with a soft heart hero. He is adorably totally honest for Peyton, and that just stole my heart. The banter between them was super cute and the way they standup for each other without any expectations - endearing. I absolutely loved reading this book and look forward to reading Lila’s HEA.
Fall for Me by Camilla Isley was such a cozy, autumnal romance! This is book 2 in the Blue Crescent Harbor series, but it can be read as a standalone. It follows Peyton, who is literally running away from her wedding and a toxic relationship when she ends up crossing paths (quite literally 😂) with billionaire Liam Rockwood. After a case of mistaken small-town gossip has everyone believing they’re married, Liam offers Peyton a fake marriage arrangement that benefits them both… until the lines between pretend and real start getting a little blurry.
I loved the fall vibes, the small-town setting, and the banter between Peyton and Liam. The fake relationship/marriage of convenience trope is always fun, and watching them slowly let their guards down was my favorite part. The pumpkin carving, cozy nights, and corn maze moments gave it that perfect seasonal romance feel.
I also really enjoyed getting back to Blue Crescent Harbor — it’s shaping up to be such a charming small-town series with each book bringing its own romance and tropes. After Rein Me In (book 1), which features an enemies-to-lovers cowboy/single dad romance, Fall for Me switches things up with fake dating and billionaire romance while keeping that same cozy town atmosphere.
This book was such a nice surprise. I’d not read anything else by this author before, but I love anything autumnal so I requested the ARC on NetGalley.
This was such a cozy read and delivered all the best autumn vibes. I’m not usually a fan of the marriage of convenience plot and, as the characters say themselves, the idea is insane, but it totally works!
Peyton and Liam have such brilliant chemistry and banter from the very beginning and you just know it’s going to be an enemies to lovers situation. However none of the book felt like a given or a cliche, it kept me gripped the whole way through and I was thrilled the characters stayed consistent to the end, rather than splitting up for the drama about 80% of the way through.
Liam was such a green flag from the very beginning (yes the accident was not his finest behaviour but he redeemed himself almost immediately) and I loved seeing him care for Payton while also trying to undo the damage done by her toxic ex.
Even the side characters had tons of personality, so much so that I’ve bought the first book in this series so I can read Faye and Ryder’s story from the beginning (I wasn’t aware this was book 2 until after I’d started it). This was an absolute pleasure to read and I think I may have found a new favourite author.
There was a LOT to like about this book. The gruff MMC, Liam, the recovering FMC, Peyton, on the run from a narcissistic ex-fiancee. The literal motorcycle crash when they meet and the flying sparks from an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. All excellent elements of an electric romcom perfect for cozying up in fleece leggings and a warm drink while the leaves fall outside. There was even a corn maze on a pumpkin farm! Chef’s kiss.
My sole complaint is that Liam started appreciably softening towards her pretty much the day after they met, which cut into the potential for even better banter and tension as the couple spent more time together. Please note, I don’t think he should have been an asshole to her considering the nature of the bargain, but I would have loved a slower fall on his part to feed the friction of a fake marriage. Seeing such strong potential to be a total knock out of the ballpark romcom made me just a little disappointed. It was otherwise a solid fall read.
Thank you Boldwood Books for sending this book for my review consideration. All opinions expressed above are my own.
I absolutely adore Camilla Isley and I believe her books are amazing, but she outdid herself here. Liam and Peyton were my favorite couple!
After running away from her terrible fiancé at the alter, Peyton literally runs into Liam during her escape. Though Liam is angry with her, he sends a car to pick her up and take her wherever she wants. Peyton ends up at Liam’s hotel in the honeymoon suite, and after a heated conversation everyone thinks these two are married. Baffled by the idea but both benefiting from it, they get married and start a rouse that quickly turns into true love.
Peyton was so strong and sassy. I loved how she had an attitude without coming across as a bee with an itch. She cares for her friends and family, and ultimately takes care of Liam.
Liam was super sweet. Despite wearing leather jackets and driving around in a motorcycle, he is a teddy bear. He immediately takes care of Peyton and wants what is best for her. He completely demolishes her ex and stands up for her family and actually ends up saving them when things so sour.
This story was complete perfection.
*An ARC was received in exchange for an honest review.
This is the second book in the "Blue Crescent Harbor" series by Camilla Isley but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. This book tells the story of Liam and Peyton. If you have read "Reign Me In" you have already met Liam and Peyton is a runaway-bride that ends up in Blue Crescent Harbor after fleeing from her wedding. She meets Liam as they almost collide in the streets and when she tries to check into his hotel and they meet again rumours fly. Circumstances lead to a fake-marriage and we all know that in romance books fake relationships are usually just the starting point for a real romance... I loved everything about this book: the characters were interesting and relatable, the story was very entertaining and fast-paced and the small-town setting full of fall vibes made me look forward to october at the beginning of summer. Another winner by author Camilla Isley. I received an ARC from Boldwood Books via netgalley.com and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an adorable and charming book with the perfect fall vibes! Peyton and Liam are so easy to fall in love with. Their meet-cute is chaotic, and their fake marriage/marriage of convenience comes with quite the learning curve.
One aspect of the story I really loved was how Peyton finally finds a home. The cozy small town and its people welcome her with open arms, and it's obvious she's found a safe and comfortable place to belong.
The other aspect I really enjoyed was watching both Peyton and Liam slowly let their walls down. Their romance wasn't just about attraction—it was about trust, healing, and finding a place where they truly belonged. They help each other in so many ways, which makes their romance even sweeter.
This is the cozy autumn romance you're going to want to read. It will make you smile and leave you feeling all the warm, comforting vibes of a small-town romance.
Enjoyable modern marriage of convenience romance. This is book 2 of the series but can absolutely be read as a stand alone. Liam is always trying to impress his father, and is heir to sports stores and resorts. After a misstep the year before, he is working even harder to get in good graces. Peyton is a runaway bride, leaving an abusive situation. Her ex-fiance threatens to take her family down for leaving him at the altar. After a disastrous meet-cute, Liam literally proposes as he can offer legal protection to Peyton, while she can bring up his status to family man. The story is very quick paced and an easy read. There are no open door spice scenes. Check it out.
Thank you, Boldwood Books, for providing this book for review consideration through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Peyton and Liam are such a fun couple in Fall For Me. As much as their situation is a literal fairytale, their feelings and actions are so real and give all of the swoon and happiness. Peyton is a runaway bride from a real life villain, and even though the first meet is tragic, Liam proposes a marriage of convenience that gives Peyton and her family all the support they need. He goes to bat for her with her ex, gets her anything she wants, supports her need to work, and gives her space to be herself and is a true gentleman. The attraction and chemistry between them is palpable, and as they need to sell the relationship and spend more time together, they get to pursue their attraction.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for an advanced read in exchange for an honest review. Fall For Me pulls you in for a great quick read. 4.5 ★
Thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for this arc!
When I received the email invitation to read this, I knew I was going to eat this up.. When I read the synopsis and saw that it's a marriage of convenience, it was even more clear that I was going to eat this up!!!! This book had me giggling and kicking my feet because they're just so cute and ughh I wish Liam was real because he sure is sexy and I do love a man who makes promises AND delivers them. He got things done for Peyton and I really enjoyed that (it must be the eldest daughter in me).. Another book boyfriend to add to my shelf, too bad he's fictional...
I was in a bit of a slump but this book cured it - it was funny, cute, and perfect for fall. A marriage of convenience, one bed, two sexy people.. what's the worst that could happen?
Oh Camilla. 4.5 / 5 stars Man I love the Blue Crescent Harbor series so far, book 2 is Liam's REDEMPTION and I love it! This meet cute is silly and zany and a bit of a suspension of disbelief but its a total romp: Peyton, a runaway bride, literally bumps into Liam, the wealthy resort owner trying to prove himself to his father. In order to handle their respective family issues they agree to spontaneously get married, move in together, and figure out their lives. It's dual POV, hysterically adorable, full of banter, and just plain fun. As with the first book the town and its characters are a wonderful set up, and you really get this FEEL for who these people are. The town football game? Easily one of my favorite scenes. The women supporting each other during the book club? Perfection. It's all the cozy fall vibes I wanted in this hot summer. Camilla also just excels at mostly fade-to-black romance (at most maybe strong PG-13) while never losing the chemistry. It's tense and romantic and PERFECT but never once cringy. I cannot WAIT for book 3!!!
4.5 ⭐️ This was such an enjoyable read! I read it pretty quickly, the writing and story flowed really nicely which made it easy to read and I liked both main characters.
Peyton has run away from her wedding to her awful, controlling finance and Liam quite literally runs in to her on his motorbike. A misunderstanding with his father and threats from her ex lead to a fake marriage to protect them both. But it’s clear early on that their feelings are anything but fake.
I loved the chemistry between Peyton and Liam, and how their feelings for each other showed and developed. I’m really looking forward to reading more from this series!
Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for this ARC.
Camilla Isley is always a good choice if you want a romance with great characters, a solid plot, and polished writing.
I haven't read the first book in the Blue Crescent Harbor series (how could that have happened?) but I'm going to remedy that oversight.
Peyton and Liam are so sweet! They bring out what each other needs in every moment, and they're always one step ahead. They're very loyal (even though it's a fake marriage to begin with).
The cave setting is dreamy. I'm ready for Liam to take me there if things go sour with Peyton.
Long live Peyton and Liam! And I'm ready for the next book ;)

Not going to lie, I loved this book more than the first in the series, the beginning and how Peyton and Liam met was such a fantastic way to start the story. I loved the banter and tension between Peyton and Liam and how they formed a partnership, then friendship and more. Liam also helping Peyton with her diabolical ex was swoon worthy!
I loved Liam's BFF and I want to see more of her as well as of Peyton's BFF.
Liam and Peyton helped each other so much and I loved seeing their growth. The scene where Liam whisks Peyton off on the motorcycle... I LOVED IT!!!
This book was fun and heartwarming from beginning to end and I look forward to more Blue Crescent Harbor books!

In order for me to believe an enemies to lovers, as I have said in previous reviews, I need to believe the reason for them disliking one another, but it also needs to feel authentic and not forced.
The reason Peyton and Liam dislike one another is specifically related to the events at their first meeting, and you believe it. Did I totally believe in the reason that his father thought they were married? Not totally, but I was willing to ignore that.
I liked them together and the way they related to one another. Their conversations and interactions worked well to move the story forward and convince me that they would be willing to change the relationship from fake to real.
