One of my Grandpas most favorite, reads slow (maybe I just imagine his voice) and then “BAM BAM BAM” blows through events like a steam engine on cocaine. Only 140 pages, enjoyed slowing myself down greatly, and I enjoyed the hell out of it!
Written over 100 years ago, it’s a complete brain shock of the imagination that he had pre World War 1- and how even though we made it well past that war, the whole scene and politics could be plausible with today’s world. From this year, it takes place only 105 years from now. WILD.
Only question that bothered me whilst reading, was “how the fuck does he still have bullets?” 🤣
