She thought choosing Knox Hartley would be the hardest part. She was wrong.
Walking away from Finn was only the beginning. Loving Knox means stepping into a world Sloane never wanted, one filled with secrets, danger, and a man who doesn’t know how to love without going all in.
Knox is intense, possessive, and absolutely unapologetic about wanting her. And somehow, that’s even more terrifying.
As the consequences of her choices start catching up with them, Sloane has to decide if she’s strong enough to stay, if she can live with the violence that follows him, the enemies that come with his name, and the truth that once you let Knox Hartley into your heart, he doesn’t ever really leave.
NOTE: This is a steamy, emotionally intense romance with adult themes, morally complex characters, and scenes not suitable for sensitive readers. While it's funny, dramatic, and chaotic for the most part, reader discretion is advised.
This story took so many damn twists and turns, I got whiplash a few times in mostly a good way! Like literally gasping "WHAT?" a few times throughout the book. Everyone is a mess and I loved it. The Wrong Obsession and The Right Addiction have so many characters. The world building is pretty in-depth and it can make it difficult to keep track, but also it feels like real and genuine family chaos (okay, within reason).
I feel as though the epilogue cut off any opportunity to branch into other books within the world since it sort of wraps up everyone's stories with a neat (and slightly confusing) little bow. However, sometimes knowing the end isn't as important as getting the story. I think I'd like more of Soroya's backstory though.
The spice in this story is spicy though 🔥🔥 love me a good play room scene.
