What do you do when your predictable life goes spiraling out of control? When your supposed childhood friend commits the most brutal betrayal, completely gutting you, destroying the life you thought you were meant to have? You make dangerous, careless decisions with your best friend, completely molding yourself into someone you’re not. I thought clubs, alcohol, and promiscuity would numb my pain, sculpt me into the person I should be; strong, confident, alive…
I was wrong.
So now I’m forced to go back home, where the only opportunity to throw my life back on track is located. I never wanted my parent’s wealth or notability, but I’m afraid if I don’t take the flight from Florida to Grand Rapids, I’m going to drown.
But instead of drowning in my own insecurities, I’m being consumed by my boss, Tyler Conklin. His secrets are devouring me, along with his mystery and charming grin. He wants me, his advancements are clear; but so are his exertions to keep me his biggest secret of all.
I’m not sure if I can tolerate being his covert lover, especially when he has so many secrets of his own.

Received a review copy from author in exchange for an honest review.

Before I saw one word about my feelings toward this trilogy, I want it to be known I'm review this set as the trilogy as a whole. Having read all three books in one swoop, I could break it apart into each, but spoilers would happen regardless, so this is a review of the box set in it's entirety.

I don't know that I would have ever found this gem if it weren't for Brooke reaching out and offering it to me to review, and oh my goodness, am I so glad that she did. I have to say... I love Tyler and Becca. I would get so caught up in this trilogy and then remember, Hey, Mignon... you have two/three books that are due for tours tomorrow/the next day, and would have to put this one down.

It was a hardship. No joke. There just never was a good place to put the book (I)down...

Right away, I enjoyed Tyler's reaction to Becca. Becca is the new junior architect, and during a meeting, he can see the ideas and thoughts going through her head. So, the brother who never says a word, speaks up and asks for her opinion.
Then later, when she goes back into the office to work on personal blueprints and he finds her at the lovely hour of 11 pm, I enjoyed the ease in which he speaks to her. Right away, you could tell this was going to be an easy relationship. There weren't overtly flirtatious innuendos or conversations... Their relationship starts as two strangers who get to know one another, and one thing leads to another...
I just really enjoyed Tyler and Becca.

Just prior to beginning her first day is when Becca first sees Tyler and Nathan Conklin -- although she doesn't know it's them at the time. Tyler, however, notices and catalogs everything she does, and when he recognizes her later in the meeting, he stares at her trying to place her.

When Becca took this job, she wanted to do it without her father's name attached to her. She wanted to go back home without people knowing. When she'd left home, it was after a pretty disastrous finding -- your best friend and long-term boyfriend in bed together can do that to a girl.

I love how Tyler has a bit of a protective streak towards Becca. When she receives a text message with a picture of the ring, Tyler is a bit exasperated about the fact that Becca's best friend is still her best friend, and that she feels the need to showcase the ring.

Speaking of Becca still being friends with Ashlynn... The girl is a sweetheart.

Becca, that is.

She's afraid that breaking her friendship with Ashlynn will make her the lesser person. Oh, but sweetheart... how you're hurting yourself in the process, allowing Ashlynn to drag you around. And while she doesn't break down and scream, she does have a few good cries over it. But where Ashlynn, her ex-best friend, is quiet the witch and very much a bad habit she needs to drop, Becca also has Jamie -- probably the best person Becca could have in her corner. She's her cheerleader when it comes to Tyler and she's the one who throws the obvious in Becca's face (ie: DROP ASHLYNN).

Becca's a strong woman, but equally, she worries about what her boss's boss thinks of her when they first meet, she worries that she's not good enough for him, and she worries about what being with him would do to her job. She gets all girly when he texts and texts and texts, and then when he doesn't for a few days...

She's real.

Tyler's not always sunshine and lemonade, either -- and I loved that. The way he was written... I didn't find him to be hot and cold (well... except at the beginning of their 'relationship', but he had his reasons), or go from one extreme to another... He was written incredibly human, and as a reader who likes to see things as close to real as possible, I appreciated it. He wasn't ego and alpha all the time; when he and Becca first started testing the waters, he had moments of nervousness; when his family drama threatens what he and Becca have, he has surges of protectiveness -- he was a very well-rounded, well-written male, in my opinion.

I'm torn on how I would suggest to read this trilogy.

I loved having the entire series at my fingertips. The problem simply was that I didn't want to put it down... and 3 extra-full length novels, that you can't put down? Well, even for a quick reader, I was reading this book for days. So to be able to take breaks between books may have been 'nice' -- granted, I was forcing myself to take breaks so I could stay on top of my tour books -- but being able to dive into the next book right away? That was great.

My favorite thing, I think, about this trilogy is that it reads real -- it's not a quick romance by any means. The steps Becca and Tyler take in their relationship, aside from the big bang in book three, are very normal. This is a relationship that could happen to anyone. There's not an extraordinary hero, not a super-unbelievable plot... it's just a guy and a girl with baggage who fall in love.

Could it have been shorter...? Sure. But I rather enjoyed the day in and day out of these characters.

Get on over to book one and read that one first!!!
Boook #1

This is the first book that I have read from this Author.
I gave this book 5 stars.

This is Becca and Tyler's story.

Becca is a beautiful young lady, who has basically been put down her whole life from her family to her friends. She thinks she is fat, and ugly and not worthy of being with anyone. Her mom is always telling her how she needs to eat less, and how she will never be a size 2 but she needs to be better. Now Becca is only a size 8 to start with and once she decides to cut out all potatoes and junk food and basically anything that is not a vegetable or meat she goes down to a size 4, but she is still feeling like she is ugly and is way more comfortable in a six. Now you may say really? A size 8? I would kill to be a size 8, but society has made it so that we are not comfortable in our own skin, this was a big issue for the writer to write about, so many times we get caught up in what we think others should think, and we are never happy with ourselves.

Becca has a boyfriend named Connor who she has been dating for quite awhile, that is until she finds him in her bed with her best friend Ashlynn. Ashlynn always wants everything that Becca has, and she didn't stop at the boyfriend either. She continues through out the book trying to trump Becca every chance she gets. Becca is a very passive, timid woman, and to a point that is good, but I think she is this way because everyone is always saying something about her weight, Ashlynn is always pointing it out right along with her mom, you shouldn't eat that, or it's ok that your not a size 2.

Becca broke my heart, she so wants to just be loved, for who she is, that she doesn't even love herself. She is constantly trying to make herself better, She needs to learn to love herself, or she is never going to ever be happy.

She graduates from college and moves in with her other bestfriend Jamie and she decides she is just going to have fun and sleeps around with a whole bunch of guys they meet at bars. She finally lands a job back home and moves back. She has a beautiful condo that her parents set up for her, and she is not happy with the fact that she is home and under their thumb once again, she wants to be able to do this on her own. But again Becca is timid and doesn't like to cause waves so she stays quiet.

At her new job she meets Tyler and he is the bosses son, he runs the company with his dad and two brothers, now Tyler has his own issues and those issues cause him to want to keep her a secret, and not because of the way she thinks, she thinks it's because she is not perfect and that she is no way good enough for him, but they have to learn to deal with these things together, and both of them are very hard to get to open up, so while she thinks she is not good enough, and that she is fat and frumpy. Tyler is not like that, he loves the way she looks, and doesn't have issues with any of that.

The book continues to deal with Tyler and Becca's relationship and their issues, but is this going to tear them apart? Someone with all the issues that Becca has can she put up with being a secret and if she does for how long?

This book really spoke to me, maybe because I related to it so well, I found Becca to be a beautiful woman with some major issues, I do believe that Tyler can help her face some of her fears, and that he will help bring out that feistyness that she is missing. AND it is there. She just has to be willing to let it out.

Tyler when he finally told his story my heart broke too, these are two beautiful, damaged souls looking for someone to just love them. And I do believe they have found that in each other.

I loved going on this journey with them, and their story is not over, but their was not a major cliff hanger, which I loved also, it left me wanting more, but I was also satisfied.

Thank you Brooke for a beautiful story, about learning to love yourself, about learning that you might not always be perfect but in someone's eyes they will see you as perfect! And isn't that what we are all looking for ?

I can't wait to read the next book!! <3

Book #2
The story continues and will leave you wanting more and cheering for the heroine more then you did in the first book.
I didn't think that I could like this book better then I did the first one, but Brooke proved me wrong.
I cannot wait to read the final book in this series to see what is going to happen..
I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance, a swoon worthy man, and a strong heroine.
You will get everything you wanted all in one book.

Thanks Brooke for a great read! <3

How I stumbled upon Brooke Page and Conklin's Trilogy is beyond me at this point but I am so glad that I did. I really loved her writing style and that she was telling a story that was different from anything I had been reading. In a book world that is full of billionaires and virgin's we get a woman fighting to get back on track and a sexy architect. The journey that Becca and Tyler embark upon is full of twists, turns and moments that left me thinking 'what just happened?'

The trilogy follows the story of Becca and Tyler. Tyler is Becca's boss at her new job after she returns to her home of Grand Rapids from living it up in Florida. They're both attracted to one another but Becca is very insecure. She battled with being overweight and bullied for it for most of her life. By her mother no less. That woman is something else that I'm not even going to get started on. Tyler wants her with an intensity that he can't deny but he isn't willing to put a relationship with her for the world to know about. Becca is alright with that until she isn't. She sees the softer side of Ty that he doesn't show everyone else and she knows she wants more. Little by little she breaks out of her shell and starts demanding the things she wants and needs, respect at the top of that list.

Tyler is enamored with Becca's shy self confidence and the way she starts to face her fears head on. The only problem is, Tyler has secrets of his own that he isn't willing to share. Mainly because he doesn't have answers to all the questions they will cause and he doesn't want to put her into danger. Because danger is lurking in more than one corner. I really loved the way the intensity built throughout the entire series with a sweet love shining through all the ups and downs.

There is a lot going on in the final book, that being said, everything tied together very nicely in the end. The trials and tribulations that Tyler and Becca suffer through in this book only solidifies their relationship. Becca's willingness to not only fight for herself but for Tyler showed just how far she had come. No more was she the wallflower that would let everyone walk all over her. I thought Ty was letting his guard down but he was broody and closed off as ever. As more secrets from the past are revealed, Tyler is left questioning all that he has known for most of his life. After a very shocking moment that had my jaw on the floor, he retreats even further into himself. It takes a good portion of the book to sort out that mess and just when I thought Tyler and Becca would sail off into their happily ever after...BAM!!! Another unexpected twist in the plot. Holy smokes I wasn't expecting that from this story at all. But it did make sense in the grand scheme of things (sorry no spoilers from me, just know that you've been warned to hang onto your hair).

Overall, this series gave me everything I wanted and then some. Tyler and Becca took me on quite the journey from the start of their relationship right through to the end of book three. Their connection, passion and understanding of each other is the romance that most can only dream, or read, about. It just goes to show how loving yourself and having the love of the right person makes you into the best version of yourself. If you like your books full of drama, angst, steam and some suspense then this is the series for you- I promise you won't be disappointed.

The first book Conklin's Blueprints we meet Becca, returning home to Michigan from college in Florida with her masters in Architecture and ready to start her life. She is uneasy moving back home, her father a wealthy business man well known in Grand Rapids wants what is best for his daughter and has no problem buying it for her. Becca wants to make it on her own. having self esteem issues Becca thinks she is fat, ugly and listening to her mother put her down for years has made Becca unable to see herself as she really is. getting the job at Conklin Architecture, Construction and Design she hopes she is a good fit. her first day on the job she meets Tyler one of the owners sons. She thinks he is out of her league. Tyler has his own issues and has never done relationships. Yet he finds himself attracted to Becca. There is something about her that draws him. He starts pursuing her but from things that have happened in his past he knows he needs to keep it a secret. Becca doesn't want to be a secret.

There is a lot going on in the story. Between family relationships, business relationships and personal the story keeps you on your toes. At times the dialogue between Tyler and Becca seem immature but when you look at from the standpoint of what they have gone through it fits. I loved both characters. Becca is a strong person she doesn't see it in herself but others see it. She lets the people in her life walk all over her but yet with outsiders she stand up for herself. The end of book one is a tear jerker and a cliffhanger.

Book 2 Conklin's Foundation picks up where book 1 left off. You start getting more background on the families in this book. Which starts answering some of the questions from the first book. Becca finally stands up for herself. She goes all out. Loved the scene. Becca and Tyler's relationship is getting stronger. they still have some issues but are trying to work through them. Trying to keep their relationship professional at work but not hiding anymore.

Book 3 Conklin's Corruption All the secrets are coming to light. Things that could make or break Becca and Tyler as a couple. Tyler tries to push Becca away while he deals with everything and hoping to keep her safe. Becca is trying to hang in there but you can only be pushed away so far before you give up.

This was a fantastic series. . Such complex characters and so much going on in the story it keeps you turning the pages as fast as you can. Each book you watch the characters grow and change and become stronger in both themselves and as a couple.

I loved Conklin’s Trilogy!!! It has it all romance, twists that had me flipping page so fast to find out what was going to happen, and the emotions this book will draw from you. Tyler and Becca are a force to be reckoned with and at times I wanted to strangle them and just shake the living crap out of them!!
Becca is the independent type who’s dealt with way to much due to her family and is finally enjoying her life and doing what she want. Shes the type who lets those who are in her life walk all over her but if you meet her on the streets shes not afraid to give you a piece of her mind and stand up for herself.
You can tell right off the bat when Becca and Tyler meet that there are sparks. Tyler has his own issues and has never once had a relationship. But there is something about Becca that draws Tyler to her and keeps him wanting to pursue her. But because of his past he keeps it a secret and Becca does not want to be a secret.
I’m so glad I was able to get this in the box set and read all the books back to back especially with the cliffhangers that are left after book 1 and 2. All the characters in this book are beyond complex but they have you so damn invested in the story that you cannot stop reading it once you start.

I think this author has potential but I had quite a few issues with this book. The editing wasn't great. There were several inconsistencies that drove me nuts. Not huge things, but I'm pretty nit picky about that kind of thing. I also felt the back and forth between Tyler and Becca grew to be way too much. I felt like some of their fights were thrown in there just to drag the book into a trilogy. I read this as a box set, not separately, and it felt like the plot just got thrown around for no reason between the books. The characters basic personalities were really inconsistent. I still can't really figure out RJ. Overall, the writing itself wasn't bad but the characters were pretty annoying and their motivations were difficult to understand at times.

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!
I am so glad I read this trilogy. I absolutely loved it. It's fun and exciting and suspenseful. At times I cried to the point the sadness ached in my heart. Tyler and Becca are so meant to be together. Their chemistry is off the charts hot! Becca's insecurities in the beginning are so out of control they almost ruin her life. They both love each other madly and even though they go through a very difficult time their love will never be overlooked or pushed aside. Between her mother and his It's a wonder they've lasted. Lol. I highly recommend this trilogy to everyone.

Wow

I won this trilogy in a competition and wow. An absolutely beautiful love story. I really liked that throughout their troubles they never lost faith in each other and stayed strong. Yes they had problems but it was worked out together as a team. Totally refreshing. The characters were written beautifully, Tyler is such a sweetheart and so loving and affectionate. Becca is also just a typical girl with the same hang ups as every other female but also so loving and affectionate and never gave up on her man. Absolutely loved this.

This trilogy is definitely worth a read, Tyler and Beccas love story had everything needed to keep you turning the pages. Parts were slightly frustrating but there were also twists and turns that kept you guessing. I loved the fact that Tyler whilst being a typical alpha also had a very vulnerable side. I only hope Nathan and Mitch get their stories.

what can i say about brooke page other than this woman knows how to keep you hooked and how to thrill you, from the very first moment you meet tyler and learn about becs your heart is in it and you cant not feel for them both, there were moments in these books that had me laughing so hard my chest hurt, had me crying from how real and relatable some of the situations are, and above all had me unable to put my kobo down, i have fallen in love with the Conklin brothers and my heart aches for their family, i love Jamie and wish she was my best friend, i want to kill Ashlynn and sometimes even wanted to strangle Becca a little for being way to real for me, for someone who has ever had trust issues Becca is the girl you hope you can be her strength and loyalty and love are amazing, all of the characters were amazing and felt so real, i loved reading these books from the beginning to the unexpected explosion of an ending, this book series will make you laugh and cry and will have you screaming NO WAY!!!! in so many chapters but the ending will leave you breathless and confused by how you didn't see it coming, Brooke's writing is so well done that it grips you and thrills you every step of the way, she brings a new twist to these genre and a theme that i would normally have passed up has become one of my top ten favorite series ive ever read in this genre, if you pass up the chance to read this series your as crazy as chino ............... my only down side which i hope brooke will change is that there isnt a sequal series about becca and tylers future because i have to know the answers to their next adventure xx

** ARC received on behalf of Obsessed by Books for an honest review**

what a great series

Becca is a timid girl never really says anything to anyone, and has always been put down by those close to her including her family which causes her to think of herself as fat and ugly and not worthy of love especially when she finds her boyfriend in bed with her bestfriend, Ashlynn, she always wanting what Becca had and will do what ever to get it. well Becca is tired of it all. she moveds in with her other best friend and finishes college and decides to just have fun and sleep around but that's not Becca. when she lands a job that brings her back home she meets Tyler, her bosses son. they seen to really hit it off but tyler has his own issues and wants to keep Becca on down low but Becca thinks its because he is ashamed of her looks. can becca and tyler survive each others flaws and secrects. tyler is in aww of becca but he cant let his secrect out due to keeping people safe. this whole series is amazing we see these two characters grow and with each book we have a cliff hanger but in the last book it all comes together for a great read. I loved it.

Hmmm

I am giving 4 stars only because I really like the Conklin brothers. Becca got on my nerves at times. The story line with Margo could have so much more juicy and the author didn't do that. There were so many parts that could have so much more. I did enjoy it. There was a LOT of wrong words conscious instead of conscience happened quite a few times among others. I wish I could give 3.5 I definitely would have done that.

DNF. I'm so bored with this book. I tried to soldier through it, but I couldn't. Becca is a sniveling baby and Tyler has anger issues. The (overdone) sex even couldn't save this book.
