This novel genuinely surprised me in the best possible way!
For a first novel, the level of mastery the writer demonstrates is simply outstanding. From the very first pages, I found myself completely drawn into the world she created. The narration and storytelling flow smoothly and confidently, making it hard to believe this is her first work.
What impressed me the most was the character development. Each character feels alive, layered, and emotionally authentic. Their motivations, growth, and interactions were crafted with remarkable care and depth, something many experienced writers still struggle to achieve!
The pacing is incredibly engaging. I honestly didn’t plan to finish it so quickly, but I found myself unable to put it down and ended up completing the novel in just a few hours. That alone says a lot about how captivating the story is!
It’s truly impressive that the author reached this level of near-perfection in her very first novel. This is a writer to watch closely 😉
And I’m genuinely happy and honored to be the first reviewer on Goodreads for this beautiful work.
Highly recommended and I can’t wait to see what she writes next ❤️
I finished this book a bit over a month ago. I still think about it almost everyday. This writer managed to achieve something even most accomplished writers fail to and this was her first book to publish. The way the author portrays a lot of settings and feelings made me feel as if i were there. It felt like i was not reading but living the events and feeling the characters feelings as if they were my own. I never read something that lingered this long in the back of my head. It's as if she managed to put readers in the place of the character. The narration was extremely well put and the story telling was flawless. I felt the grieve, the joy, the shock, the disappointment all as if they were my own feelings. It felt like being transported completely outside of the reality i'm in. It was almost like watching a movie in my head. The author couldn't have told the story any better because the way i remember it now feels more like recalling a memory rather than remembering a book. She has absolutely outdone herself because this being her first book just shows what she's capable of. I truly can't wait to read other books shed publish
