Although I loved Axel and Kai from book 1 of this series, I liked the way this book was written much better. It was twice as long and filled out much more nicely. I still wish there’d been more details - you get very little foundation of the MC club. What businesses do they oversee? How do they make their money? Why do they function like trained assassins instead of a MC? 🤣 This one also contained repetitive phrases, like book 1, and I swear some of the lines were plucked directly from the first book. Overall I did like it a lot though. I liked the slow burn and selective use of spice in this book. The relationship between Tank and Tyler felt strong. I liked the addition of Tank’s POV in this book. Although each book focuses on a different couple, there is an overarching plot for the series and I feel like some things would be confusing if you tried to read this independently of book 1.

Im loving this series. The characters are so complex and are so supportive of each other.
If you enjoy found family then these books are for you.
The MCs were so well written, once they made the decision to be together they never questioned each other.
Loved it, and I'm looking forward to seeing who is in book 3.

One of the best reads recently. Both books I felt were extremely well written.
Characters grow with the story line. Shows empathy and understanding of varied struggles. Liked the fact the timeline wasn't rushed. Would defiantly recommend.

2.5 ⭐️
The first 40% of this book was absolutely amazing and I was so excited for it. But as soon as we hit that 40ish percent mark and Tank and Tyler were “together” I could feel the dread starting - because what else could the author add to this greatness?
Well. For me it just went downhill. I was actually bored. I was fairly sure I persisted to the end out of spite. The first half was character driven so we are invested in the relationship (and c’mon who doesn’t like the stoic brooding quiet ones?) but the second half of the book was story driven and the story wasn’t cutting it for me.
Maybe a bit more time building the tension between the MCs and building their story rather than the book story.

Disappointing
The author made a HUGE mistake in this book. This is the 2nd book in the series and the biggest push for Tank & Tyler getting together is to teach Tyler how to ride because "he never has". But yet in Chapter 10 of the original book Reapers Violet, Tyler SHOWS UP TO THE CLUB ON HIS HARLEY because he's undercover as a member of the rival club!!!!
This is such a huge oversight of the author, proofreader, beta readers....it's just something that cannot be overlooked as a downfall to the series and puts this author on my DO NOT BOTHER reading list.

Tank’s Agent
Tank and Tyler had it slowly built into so much more. As Tyler’s past caught up to him, Tank held him steady. They learned how to be equal partners and what it meant to hold onto something bigger than they expected. This was a great continuation of book 1, the war isn’t over, just another battle won. I can’t wait to read the next book. This has been such an amazing series.

This is a continuation of book 1 focusing this time on Tank and Tyler. It's a fun easy read which again is action packed. There is more corruption to unravel which hopefully will be picked up in the following books and we can find out who is pulling the strings. The 2 MCs are interesting and I found myself really liking Tyler.

I loved it!
I loved this book!I will say I think you need first book in this series because that is where the MC in this book are introduced. This book is well written. The author is very descriptive. You feel like you actually there.excellent plot development and lots of action.Very steamy too! And excellence secondary characters. I am totally loving this series!

great story but needs editing
I really liked this but I am such a stickler for details. There were a lot of inconsistencies in the story from book one to this one. Timelines were off from the beginning of the book. Details completely missing but overall a good story

There are a few ‘loose ends’ for background characters that stood out throughout the series, leaving a possibility for a new series? However, the main storyline(s) came together in such a satisfying way that had the perfect HEA feeling… well as HEA as a MC group can have!

Second in the series I loved it. Loved Tyler and Tank. There were tears when cross took Tyler but I got through it.

Ethan Brand took Tank's and Tyler's story to a whole new level from book one. Talk about twists and turns you never see coming. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Their story will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Just when yiu think you know what's coming.... Bam!! Nothing like what you expect to happen. This book has all the feels. I even had tears at one point. And talk about the chemistry between Tyler and Tank. The heat that comes off the pages... wow, just wow!! You'll love the steamy scenes. If you enjoy hot, steamy, MM, and MC romance stories this is the book for you. I can't get enough from this author. I need more!
