Lovely story of love and loss but felt slow and unfortunately didn’t fully hook me as much as book 2 from Mystic Bay. Book is well written and easy Hallmark style read.

The writing style the author has creates this world where you instantly want to step into. How I long to walk the shores of the bay, pop into the lighthouse to have a gossip with the ghosts, pop to the bakery for a delicious treat and maybe even work at the nursery.

This was a fantastic instalment that made me smile, laugh and cry and even think about baking! The recipes were such a lovely addition.

The characters in this story were beautifully written, the female lead was strong and instantly relatable and I loved getting to see more of Cassian.

The story was fast paced but also in the moments where it needed to be soft and slow.

If you like gentle, easy to read romance with a little magical twist I would definitely suggest you read these books.

Thank you Georgia Perrey for the ARC, it’s now available to buy. This book is so much more than a cozy read, it’s like an onion with lots of layers. Now I’m not one to cry over a book but I got so caught up in the story I cried on several occasions! Don’t let that stop you from reading though, it’s a must read. It is about a mother’s love and how it has no bounds and the hard decisions you make. It’s also a wonderful cozy read where you just can’t help but love the characters.
