“I wondered how differently my life
Might’ve been if I’d ever put myself first instead of always doing what was expected of me”…..
Monroe is turning 40 & there’s some things she’s never experienced. So she wants to “do it for the plot” and see what it’s like to put herself first for once. Especially because she was the type who always did what was expected of her (to her own detriment). I resonated with this as someone who also is approaching 40 and like Monroe realized that I spent a lot of years letting life just “happen”. I loved seeing her be bold & take what she wanted. Going into it I didn’t realize it was why choose (before I requested the ARC), which is not something I enjoy. But the story is written so well & the premise enjoyable that I still enjoyed this book. So for fellow friends who don’t particularly enjoy why choose you’d probably still have a good time with this one.

She Deserved!
This was such a good Erotic short. I feel like I wasn’t missing anything. This is my second read by Ms. Roxanne and I’m loving her writing! Monroe just needed something new in life and she was determined to get it. Planned an amazing 40th birthday weekend and I’m excited this ended the way it did. She deserved happiness and got it on her terms ! Whew! What a time !

Monroe had me hooked from the intro. Seeing a FMC grown and not operating from lack, but choosing herself (in every way!) piqued my interest. Brooks and Keaton?! I’m still blushing and giggling. This read was everything I didn’t know I needed.
I am not a “smut” fan, but this story of a grown woman enjoying the freedom of a full human experience made a fan out of me.

Roxanne does it again.
Roxanne has a gift of making characters seem so realistic that you think it's yourself or your homegirl!
Monroe is about to turn 40, and basically, she doing it for the plot. A tipsy night leads to a birthday decision that made me clutch my pearls!! Ro, brooks and Keaton were fun! I love watching her choose Herself over and over.

Now listennnn… this was a quick read that had me giggling and rubbing my feet together. Monroe isn’t your average 40-year-old virgin—she’s hot & ready to give it up 🤩 Her boyfriend for the weekend Brooks shows her a whole new side to life…and that maybe Monroe needs more than one man to be satisfied 🤷🏽♀️
This was 10/10, NO NOTESSS 🤭

I loved this! Whole book I was like YAAAASSSSS MONROE LETS GOOOO 😆😆😆 it’s never too late to live in the moment and do what makes you feel good.
And whew! Those spicy scenes and the chemistry between the main characters were *chef’s kiss*. I need me a Brooks AND Keaton in real life 🫣😅

I loved it . Monroe is turning 40 and has never dated, kissed, or had sex in her life so she takes this weekend to get everything she desires and ends up getting more than she bargained for! I love when a woman gets everything she wants and deserves. It left me wanting more !

cause why?!
this read was so interesting and the concept was so unique.
our FMC felt real personal to me in some of her thought process in the very beginning.
THE SPICE- DID NOT DISAPPOINT
this is my second read from this author (their 2nd book) and I suggest their work and definitely look forward to their future books because I enjoyed their writing....
