This book examines how we as believers stand firm in our faith against Satan’s various attacks and strategies. The book is easy to read and broken into helpful sized chapters with a couple of paragraphs at the end of each which summarise and point to application.
I particularly valued chapter 7 ‘Life-suckers’ and itself exploration of sun and evil as parasites and spoilers of the gospel. And the subsequent examination and application of 1 Timothy 4v4 as a way to stand firm against that by seeing that God is good and gives good gifts and we respond to those gifts rightly when we see them as gifts from God, thank him, and use them as God intended not as sinful desires twist.
