xAlternate Sources has an interesting premise and offers a compelling look at corruption within the pharmaceutical supply chain. I especially enjoyed the realistic procedural details and the way the story shows how greed, desperation, and corporate decisions affect people at every level.
That said, there are a lot of characters and shifting viewpoints, which sometimes made the story hard to follow. The pacing also slowed in places, and a few storylines felt like they needed more development or a stronger conclusion. Overall, it’s a thoughtful crime thriller with some genuinely suspenseful moments, but the crowded plot kept me from feeling completely invested.
