Hannah Montgomery has always been hiding. Bruises concealed by church dresses. Hatred trapped behind a practiced smile. Defiance masked as subservience.
When her chance to escape her family’s cult finally comes, she takes it. Six months pregnant with a four-year-old on her hip, she flees. Finally free, her only goals are to survive and to protect her children. When she meets her new Alpha bodyguard and his Omega, she quickly finds herself falling. And these men will do anything to prove she’s theirs.
But freedom comes at a cost. Her husband isn’t going to let her go easily. Not when she carries the male heir he needs to take control of her father’s congregation. He hunts her relentlessly, wearing her down until she’s ready to break.
One thing this Beta won’t do is give up. She’s been Reforged by Fate, and this time, she isn’t fighting alone.
Reforged By Fate is a MMMF Why Choose standalone set in the Soulbound Omegaverse world.
Good read. This is a mostly sweet story with a slash of dark with darker undertones. Hannah’s story takes place concurrently to her sister Omen’s story (The Primodial Covenant Duet) There’s spice, loving moments and some topics that may be difficult for some.
I loved how Shepherd and Foster took the time to make Hannah feel safe and loved (like she never had before) and let their relationship go a her pace especially knowing that they were fate matched mates. Loved how they were with Kaitlin as well. And Manny just fit in so seamlessly and was a great addition to the pack. We also see all of the pack help her with the fallout and ‘issues’ of her leaving the cult and her ex. The
A bit of a different take on omegaverse, with different types of fated mates and also a glossary in the back that explains them.
No cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with a HEA

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
3.5 stars
This book was good, but it also took way too long for me to read it, to the point that I just wanted to be DONE, because it was dragging on.
So many parts of this were just too cheesy (example: the nickname Hot Stuff) and sickly sweet for me. Don't get me wrong, Hannah deserves all the joy and sweetness, but it was just too much for me. Also way too many exclamation points were used (and this is coming from someone who loves herself an exclamation point).
Also a heat wasn't shown on page of that featured the whole pack... Not a fan of that.
Omen's duet (Primordial Covenant) is still my favorite in this series. I just feel that JC writes darker romance better than sweet.
I would still recommend this book to someone who loves overly sweet romance, with a side of suspense though.
I really liked Hannah's story with Shepherd, Foster and Manny! The slow burn development between Foster, Shepherd and Hannah at the beginning was so good, it was the right pace for them with the circumstances at the time. Manny fit in so seamlessly when introduced half way and absorbed everything really well with Hannah's psycho ex. The plot kept me invested as we know the storyline briefly but we got to see it from Hannah's pov and how badly Colin, his family and her mother wanted to get back at her. Definitely pay attention to the triggers but I'd still say this was mostly found family and had a cosy vibe to it with the family moments with the kids. Really enjoyed the relationship between Manny, Shepherd and Foster themselves; it was nicely developed alongside Hannah's with them all.
Looking forward to the next book in this series and where we get taken next!
I love the Soulbound Omegaverse world and was delighted to return and get Hannah’s story! The main vibes were sweet, frustrating, heartwarming, and infuriating. I was bouncing between soaking up the amazing MMMF relationship and sighing aggressively and exclaiming “the audacity!”. There are significantly darker themes mentioned, but not too terribly much happens on page. I loved the healing journey and the realistic nature that sometimes it’s two steps forward and one step back. Shepherd, Foster, and Manny are the sweetest MMCs and absolutely perfect for Hannah. While this does stand alone, if you want to read Omen’s and Bea’s stories, I recommend doing so before you read Reforged by Fate as you’ll get all kinds of spoilers!
Given the conflict of this book and the previous 2 books, you'd think this book would be darker than it was and while it still had some darker themes, this book felt very sweet and full of love and adoration. Shepard and Foster were probably the best mcs for Hannah to end up with and then when Manny came around, you could feel the love coming off the pages. I loved how gentle and dotting they were with her daughter and how patient they were with her. I highly recommend this book!
Shepherd and Foster doted on Hannah from the beginning, slowly earning her trust and showing her how much she and her children were cherished and wanted. They were just what she needed to heal from her traumatic past. Manny was a great addition to their pack, and he seemed to fit seamlessly once he allowed himself to believe they wanted him forever, too. This was jam-packed with sweetness and would make a great read if you're craving comfort and warm fuzzies.
What a fantastic story!! I was sucked in from the very first page. The storyline had me at the edge of my seat in a few spots. I swooned in other spots. I loved how they all navigated their attraction and love for each other. I enjoyed catching up with the other characters from the series.
This story was so full of love and acceptance. You could sense how scared Hannah is at the beginning and how much the guys are willing to prove they are there for her anyway she needs them. It was heartwarming even as you felt her struggle with the guilt
