Two little monkey brothers go through a day of actions that are yes (appropriate), no (inappropriate), or maybe so (okay). By the creator of Itsy Bitsy the Smart Spider.
We are on a bit of a Charise Mericle Harper kick right now. Our oldest loves the Fashion Kitty and the Just Grace series of books. So when we saw this book, we just had to check it out.
This is a simple, but fun book that depicts good, bad and questionable behavior. The monkey brothers go through the day in various situations and children can see the good, bad and otherwise for each. We enjoyed reading this book together and our girls laughed a lot at the funny illustrations.
The monkeys had different things that they would do together. This was a list of the things they did: Bounce, dress, eat, ride, push, picnic, stomp, drink, share, read, bathe, sleep. There were good examples of these things, which would be in the "yes" category. There were bad examples of these things that were in the "no" category. and there were things that they would be able to do together that fell in the "maybe" category.
