I never believed this book would be so helpful! Not only does it give every step of the writing process, it is also descriptive and gives loads of examples. The author makes sure you can stand on your own while navigating how to write realistic characters, settings, and background characters. She even points out how to say just enough about the background characters to pique the reader's interest, wanting those characters to have books of their own...Next thing you know, you have a series!

This needs to be in every author's library and be kept close at hand!
