This journal-style book recounts an American author's experiences in Russia in the early 1990's. Bradley-Detally is a writing teacher and comfortable with pen and paper. She's especially interested in the people, not the politics. The settings come through clearly along with the harshness of Russian daily life in this interesting and sometimes surprising read.
Read this because Esther is a good friend of Ann's and her husband is an uncle of a lady who was in book club. It is about their experiences As Baha'i pioneers. It was okay.
