When alpha wolf shifters Nathan and Kato discover a wounded omega on their territory, they expect a problem they can solve, not one that could destroy them.
The omega Casper refuses to talk about his past, but he’s even more determined not to endanger the two alphas who saved him. As days pass and bonds deepen, though, the secrets between them become harder to keep.
And then Cas is thrown into a powerful, unnatural heat, driving every unmated alpha in the pack into rut, including Nathan and Kato. The instinct to claim him is overwhelming, but the danger is worse: if they breed him, he’ll die.
With instincts spiraling out of control and a threat lurking at the periphery, can the trio survive the call of a mate bond and save themselves—and the pack—from certain destruction?
If you know my reading tastes, you know I have the tendency to fall head over heels for almost any omegaverse. THIS BOOK WAS NO DIFFERENT!!
Having torn himself free from the binds of cruelty, Cas charges into the lingering unknown, desperate to escape the twisted cage which surrounds his life. As his adrenaline soaked nerves settle into a mere thrumming sense of anxiety, he finds himself on foreign land beneath the careful watch of two Alphas. Both who are clearly drawn to him in every way possible.
But while Cas expects demanding beasts he instead receives two gentle lovers who seem to truly care about his wellbeing. Overwhelmed by this new sense of adoration, Cas can not help but sink into a softly woven blanket of safety. But stitched between the seams remain hidden secrets, ones that may just tear his new, tender relationship apart.
This story is an M/M/M, with the two alphas being Kato and Nathan. Oil and water, it would appear at first glance but underneath all that blistering tension simmers an undeniable fascination towards the other. It’s rare that I get to read an alpha/alpha and I really enjoyed their dynamic.
Kato is all bratty, headstrong energy while Nathan is more stoic and poised, the perfect combination. And of course they wouldn’t be complete without their sweet Cas who takes each of their very strong emotions and patches them together into one beautiful piece of mismatched art.
This story is far from perfect but I had a really great time with all their banter, playfulness, and steamy encounters. And it was really refreshing to read an M/M/M where the author gives careful focus to each character and their piece in the relationship. Not only that, but it was clear their love and devotion was always meant to be shared between three.
I need to know when that second book comes out though?!? Because that Epilogue was BRUTAL.
FAIR WARNING: there are some messed up things in this story. Specifically regarding one of the characters' past. So best wager a sense of caution while reading. Though, the author does make sure to give a full list of TW at the start of the book.
“It’s how it should be. The three of us entwined. Irrevocable. Uncompromising. Permanent. An unbreakable bond. Mated for life.”
I understand why so many people love shifters and omegaverse stories, because this need to claim, protect, scent, possess, and just go absolutely feral over your mate is honestly soooo romantic 😅 (at least for me). I do sometimes struggle with the inevitability of fated mates because it can feel a little mechanical, like the characters don’t really get a choice. I did feel a little bit of that here too, but somehow it worked for them.
I really enjoyed this story. It takes a surprisingly original approach to the omegaverse and kept me invested from the beginning. We get a very clear sense of Nathan, Kato, and Cas as individuals, and I loved that the relationship truly felt like an MMM romance instead of "two alphas and the omega." Every bond mattered, and their dynamic developed naturally.
Kato was definitely my favourite. He completely stole the show for me, and I loved seeing how fiercely protective, patient, and devoted he was. Cas was a close second, though. His trauma, fear, and determination not to put Nathan and Kato in danger made him impossible not to root for. The hurt/comfort was one of the strongest parts of the book, and all those protective, possessive, feral instincts that make omegaverse so addictive were done really well.
That said, I did have a few small issues. The second half becomes heavily focused on the heat/rut storyline, so readers looking for a stronger external plot may find the balance a little uneven. I also would have loved to see more of the Scottish pack and the wider world, because it felt like there was so much potential there.
One thing that confused me a little was the BDSM aspect. It's mentioned that one of the characters leans towards a more dominant dynamic, and there's even a closet full of toys and gear, but it never really goes anywhere, so I'm not sure why it was emphasised.
That said, after that epilogue, I absolutely need Adrian's book next. He deserves to be happy. ❤️
Overall, this was an engaging, emotional, and very romantic omegaverse with a balanced MMM relationship, plenty of hurt/comfort, and lots of deliciously feral mate instincts. Definitely one I'd recommend to omegaverse fans, even if, like me, you're sometimes a little skeptical of the fated mates trope.

Oh, okay 🥺 Thank you, an amazing duo of Risa and Marra - I have so many thoughts and emotions and feelings about this one 💞 I don’t read much OV but it seems like I have a soft spot for it after all. Because all the chemistry during those heats and ruts, with all the desperation, passion, scents, marks, mewls, neediness, it’s scorching hot as it is. Add in two alphas and an omega - it’s blazing, like totally another level 🥵
I'm so glad I went in knowing almost nothing, because "surprised" doesn't even begin to cover it. I genuinely couldn't predict where it was going. My heart broke so many times for so many characters 💔 And after 85% I couldn’t even sit straight, muttering nonono and trying to breathe normally.
First things first, this story is complex, with layered worldbuilding, and I'm usually not someone who reads for it, but here it genuinely mattered, and it was done incredibly well. A lot of side characters that make you either really care about them or hate them beyond words. The whole setting works perfectly honestly.
But the most important are of course the MCs 💗 As I’ve said - I genuinely wondered what’s going to happen and HOW. All three of them are so vibrant, so distinct and different, but Cas - omigod Cas!! is so precious, heartbreaking and sweet baby angel with ALL THOSE RIBBONS it was unbearable 💔
“I look at our omega, lying there on the bed. So small, and yet he has the ability to destroy us both. He might have already.”
Kato, chaotic, hilarious, carrying too much guilt 🥺 and Nathan, the big ALPHA teddy bear with an enormous heart 💗
“Oh, you fucked up. Mating me. I’m a fucking disaster.” The corner of his mouth quirks. “And yet I love you anyway.”
I devoured this, I couldn’t stop, it was a chokehold, it was unexpected, I was hot, I was squirming, I cried and looked like a mad person (courtesy of my husband 🫢). So yes, I was properly affected by this story, 5 totally deserved stars, I honestly wouldn't change a thing.
Ah, and I am still not okay after being totally destroyed by the epilogue!!! WHEN IS BOOK 2 COMING OUT 😭
genuinely think this should’ve been only alpha x alpha.
WAIT PUT THE PHONE DOWN DON’T CALL THE POLICE I WASN’T KIDNAPPED I SWEAR. this is NOT a call for help.
yes, i, martina (i’ve changed my username many times but it always involved chaos) think that i could’ve given 5 stars to an alpha x alpha pairing.
maybe i’m sick. idk.
okay, let’s keep it quick. 1. those two alphas together?!??? hell yes. please. genuinely AMAZING. wonderful chemistry. beautiful banter. absolutely perfect relationship. 2. the omega. what omega? there was a white haired character who happened to be an omega and unfortunately wasn’t graced with a personality. no, really. he was just going around without one. and unfortunately the book suffered because of him.
untwist your panties, I love MMM. The problem here is just that there is one character without a personality. and two that are amazing. it makes you wish that we could please ditch the boring one somewhere.
all in all, I enjoyed it, but let’s be clear, it’s all because of the alphas.
ALL HAIL THE FUCK SHED 🙌🏼 I AM FERAL FOR NATHAN FUCKING ROSS. I am sooooooo in love with that big ol “ginger bearded fuck” (as Kato says). I wanna start this off by saying that I ADORE Cas. The relationship between the 3 of them would have been nothing without him. Cas opened them up to a world they never knew could exist. Cas made them realize they had purpose. He was the sexy little glue that held their beautiful relationship together. He’s even the reason Nate and Kato make good on their feelings for eachother. All that being said, I AM CURRENTLY LIVING FOR THAT ALPHA-ALPHA RELATIONSHIP between Kato and Nathan. They stole the goddamn show! So hot.
All three of them were so broken and didn’t feel like they really belonged. They were a beautiful little group of outcasts. The family they found with each other was breathtaking. The dynamic they had with each other was very refreshing for me. Most MMM books I read, I’m left feeling like it wasn’t a “fair and balanced” relationship. I’m usually left feeling kind of sorry for someone because they aren’t getting the same attention or they’re getting left out. NOT HERE. Cas, Nate and Kato had such an interesting connection. The bond they have individually and as a group was unlike any I’ve read before. Ravage had my emotions all over the place. The fierce protectiveness they have for one another made me fall so hard for them. The way they claim each other is INTENSE as hell and the possessiveness is top fucking notch. The banter was hilarious, I was laughing out loud several times.
This is only my 2nd omegaverse book ever. (I know, I know. wtf?!) I completely understand the hype now! Huge shoutout to the author for the guide in the beginning, that really helped me understand the story better.
I do wish more of the BDSM aspect with Nathan was explored a bit more. I mean, he has an entire sex closet in his fuck shed!
Loved the little age gap between the 3 of them. Loved the Scotland setting. Loved the little twisty twists! Loved (and fiercely hated) the side characters. Really hoping for an Eden book. His story (what we know so far) broke my heart.
And the epilogue…. There were a ton of emotional parts to this book. EVERYONE had a sad story. But the epilogue is what finally pushed the tears out 😭 really looking forward to book 2!
THIS WAS SO HARD TO WRITE WITHOUT GIVING SPOILERS. So, you’re welcome.
Why isn’t anything hitting the mark lately 😩 At this point, it can’t just be my reading slump. I miss books with good, captivating writing, authentic relationships, real, raw emotions, and something meaningful to take away from them. I want a book that actually makes me feel something—and maybe even leaves me thinking about it long after I’ve finished it.
So, I do realize that Omegaverse was clearly not the genre I needed right now 🫠 I’ve enjoyed Risa Cruise’s previous books, which is why I was looking forward to this one—and I usually love shifter books—but this one just gave me the ick. The writing didn’t really make me feel anything else towards the three MMCs.
The overall writing just wasn’t… it for me. Maybe some other time this could have worked and I’m sure a lot of people find it amusing, but I think now I’m looking for something with a little more substance.
I’d say more 3.5⭐️ but rounded up to 4 since this was my first omegaverse. I did find some of it confusing. I really appreciate the brief guide in the beginning that helped me flesh it out a little bit.
I really did like Kato, Nate, and Cas’ relationship and how they all came together. They make a great throuple (MMM) and you could really sense how much they all loved, adored, and cared for one another.
The ending/epilogue broke my heart. I will definitely read the rest in the series.
*Received an arc in exchange for my honest review.
THE ENDING 😭😭😭😭😭😭 omg my fkin heart how could you!!! In all seriousness ARC review.
This book was so fkin wonderful 😭 i felt for EVERY single character. Im thankful my sweet loves got their HEA (for now 👀) but like ughh the other part 😭😭
Damn. It was hot though another wonderful MMM to add to the wont shut up about it list
This book was a wild and hilarious ride and I'd expect nothing less from Risa and Marra.
I am a sucker for poly romances so when I saw this was MMM I immediately signed up for the ARC and I'm so glad I did!
Nathan an outcast Alpha in a small rural pack in Scotland has been put on babysitter duty after the pack leaders American nephew gets sent there to clean up his act. This grumpy x chaotic sunshine duo are out to the test when they find a mysterious injured omega.
The pull they feel to Cas is instantaneous and unstoppable. They are a slave to their base instincts and desires even when the cost could be their lives.
Nathan, Kato, and Cas's dynamic is literal perfection 😩 the hilarious banter, the tension and chemistry, THE SPICE 😮💨🥵.
I love Risa Cruise's work and I love MMM romance, but I'm only 5% in and every word of their first encounter is screaming 'insta-lust.' Even for an Omegaverse, this is way heavy-handed.🙁
3.25⭐️ Kato has been sent away from his home in the states to stay with his uncle Declan, the strict and cruel alpha of the pack. Nathan has been designated to keep an eye on Kato, much to his chagrin. They’re both alphas, and Kato just wants to be left alone after a tragedy left him broken and lashing out. Both alphas sort of dance around each other until they come across a beaten and injured omega on the boarder of their lands. Immediately taking him in, they do their best to make sure Cas is okay. But Cas is a walking aphrodisiac, and his presence causes a huge stir for the pack.
This book has: -MMM omegaverse romance -alpha/alpha/omega(?) -accidental mating -living aphrodisiac -f*ck him and die -wolf shifters -a balance of plot / romance
This book was written with a good balance between the plot and characters, and the pack dynamics/drama was definitely the driving force in the story. The dynamic between the MCs was also fun, and I especially liked Nathan and Kato.
And I gotta say, I love the artist who did the cover, so that’s definitely what got me to pick this book up!
These authors somehow created an all-male universe, but made fantasy sexism a driving factor in the story. I thought a lot of elements of the world were interesting. That being said, there’s a note/explanation about the setting before the book starts. To me, good world building can weave these elements into the storytelling, so I kind of wish we got the world building in a more organic way.
I think it’s cool to have a more plot-focused omegaverse book, and I did enjoy a lot of it. However, the writing style is very much narrative-telling rather than emotional or captivating, which kind of lost me a little.
Kato, Cas & Nate are utter perfection together 😭 I loved how they each brought something to the table and complimented eachother in such a way that they fit perfectly together like missing puzzle pieces 🥺
Nate is the grumpy, headstrong one with his own hang ups but he would put his neck on the line for the ones he loves 🥺 Cas at one point said he was like ice and Kato was like fire and I think that’s a perfect way to describe them as it felt like Nate was a closed book until Kato got close enough to thaw him out!
I absolutely adored Kato and I will protect that wolf with my whole soul! 🥺 He was so precious and had soooo much love to give 😭 he did have some demons weighing him down but watching him try better himself was so heartwarming and Jesus Christ he was so funny 🤣 I laughed out loud so many times at his chapters, they were brilliant!!
And lastly the cute little white wolf Cas, his story broke my heart and all I wanted was to wrap him up in his pink blanket (maybe some boxers 👀) and stroke his hair. He was just so precious and I adored him 🥺
Overall this book had HOT HOT HOT spice, found family, acceptance and a whole lot of love 🫶🏼
Kato, Nate and Cas I am so happy I met you all the blessings and such! This draaaaged really really bad at the middle. I am so sorry to say it, but despite all the action I felt like there was something missing. 🤷♀️ no idea what. It was action packed, emotional, horny, I just don’t know. I’ll be definitely following the story along though with that ending 🌸
Well… I can say only one thing: SOMETHING WAS MISSING.
Actually… EVERYTHING WAS MISSING. 😆😆
If this was supposed to be more relationship-focused, then I definitely needed MORE of the relationship. We barely know anything about the characters, so I never really got attached to them, and the chemistry… well… where was she? 🥲 The sex? Yep, it was there. Pretty damn hot, not gonna lie 😏🔥 But even that somehow wasn’t enough. I wanted more of them, not just more scenes.
And if the main focus was supposed to be the plot… well, we have another problem. 🥲 The plot felt pretty thin and, honestly, confusing at times. Especially for an omegaverse story, I expected something a little more developed because half the time I was just sitting there like: “Okay… but WHAT exactly is happening here?” 🧐
And if this was supposed to be a 50/50 situation — romance + plot — then congratulations, because I didn’t get enough of either. 😭😂
The Alpha/Alpha/Omega threesome sounded SO promising, though. I saw that setup and immediately went: Ohhhhhh, okay, this could be GOOD. 😏 And then… Well. Something definitely went wrong somewhere. 🥲😂
I think the biggest problem for me is that the book had a bunch of things that could have been really interesting, but none of them were explored enough. The characters needed more depth, the relationship needed more chemistry, and the plot needed more… well, plot. 😆
So yeah…
Sorry not sorry. 😂
I wanted MORE. More character development, more chemistry, more relationship, more omegaverse, more everything.
It wasn’t terrible, and I definitely had fun with some parts, but the whole time I kept feeling like the book was teasing me with something really good and then going “nah, that’s enough for today.” 😭
The concept? Promising. The smut? 🔥 The execution? Girl… we could’ve done more. 😆
Realized I never wrote my arc review because I was DISTRAUGHT over the ending. (I’m fine, it’s fine, everything is fine)
I loved the dynamic between Nathan, Kato and Cas. This was funny, steamy and had emotional elements as well that pulled me in and kept me captive into the story. I had a great time with this read and I love these mates so much your honor!
If you don’t know me, I’m a huge fan of omegaverse books. When I saw that Marra and Rosa were coming out with one, I had to snag this one, especially when it is a MMM. Yes please. This is my first time reading by either author and I’m hooked. Also, these two collaborating together was absolutely perfect.
First off, that epilogue has me so interested in this series because my heart.
Cas, Nathan and Kato were absolutely perfect. I just knew these three were going to be a fun time from the moment the two alphas rescue Cas.
The more we learn about Cas, I just knew his story was going to hurt. What Bash did to him was insane. Cas is an interesting omega that made me want to hold him for everything he went through.
Bash is definitely crazy and he shows his true colors. He definitely got what he deserved for hurting Cas.1
The moment Kato shows up at the cabin. Gosh, that whole scene broke my heart so much. I loved what followed after because if you know what happened, you would probably act the same way. I immediately knew he was going to be my favorite when he punched certain betas when they made those comments about Cas and his duties of being an omega.
If you like omegaverse, shifters, MMM when they’re all together, all the feels and drama, this book is definitely for you. I cannot wait for the next book on this series because I’m so invested in these characters and I only want more.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Zero stars for what the authors decided to do to Niall and Adrian.
What about the actual MMCs of the book? 1. Don’t think Kato & Nate needed Cas 2. The whole story is about 2 missing the Third First - Kato & Cas missing Nate Then - Nate & Kato missing Cas Then - Nate & Cas missing Kato Finally - Nate & Kato loosing Cas to find him back 3. I don’t have a third bc I skimmed read it
I know after mating, they need at least a month of being as close as possible but during this book, I was the one suffering.
And yes I am sour and in rage from what happened to Niall and Adrian.
“Like the first snow in winter, undisturbed and crisp. Fresh spring water, flowing clear. Summer flowers, blooming and bright. Earthy, woody conkers, freshly freed from their husks. Together, they’re every season. Every day, rain or shine. They’re everything, these two shifters. Both of them crashed into my life and I’ve been helpless to resist them, no matter how hard I’ve tried.”
UHHHH. anyone in the mood for some emotional damage??? then this is the book for you. HA. but seriously!! wowie. I knew I was going to love this book because all of my friends that have read it had nothing but great things to say about it, but it def exceeded my expectations!! I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive yall for that epilogue, though. 😭
sooo Ravage brings us three wolf shifters from different worlds; Nathan, the Alpha who has never been able to truly be himself.. Kato, the Alpha who is walking chaos.. and Cas, the Omega that may or may not be an actual Omega 👀
when Kato is sent to stay with his uncles pack after using alcohol to cope with his problems one too many times, Nathan becomes his ‘babysitter’ (not my words hahaha) and the two become close, though in a banter-y, ‘god you’re so annoying’ type of way. when Cas shows up naked and bloodied in a field one day, the Alphas take it upon themselves to take him in. maybe not the best idea, cause he ends up in heat and ya know, smells like irresistible pure sex. what happens next? I’ll let you read to find out 😇
all of these characters have my heart ((well besides Bash.. FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING FUCK!!! Declan, you’re on my list too.)) and i cried a few times over these broken boys. they have all suffered from some type of loss, and they deserved to find each other, even if it wasn’t exactly under the most normal circumstances. I knew going into it between the MMM and wolf shifters i was going to fall in love, but I truly have never read a book like this before and I can’t wait to see what else comes from these authors brilliant minds! SIX star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
some tidbits: 🐺 2 alphas x omega 🐺 hurt/comfort 🐺 Cas’s ribbons 🎀 🐺 Nate’s protectiveness 🤍 🐺 Kato’s chaos 🌀 🐺 age gap 🐺 a knotty good time 😏🔥
I’ve never felt such perfect fullness before, never knew how amazing it would be. I was made for this after all.
Great Omegaverse shifter romances can be hard to come by, believe it or not. So don’t sleep on Ravage. It’s got fantastic characters, a cozy setting and a plot (and mystery) that grips you all the way through.
What’s more, our authors pull off MMM so darn well. Yes, we have our Omega Cas who both Nate and Kato are drawn to, but those alphas have a relationship all their own as well. This is poly done right, and I couldn’t stop squealing for these guys.
I love seeing something different in Omegaverse books
Ugh that freaking epilogue had me in tears. Also, makes me excited for the next book in the series.
I absolutely loved Cas. He is found naked, alone, and unconscious by Nate and Kato. Both men are immediately drawn to him. So many times I just wanted to wrap Cas up in blankets and keep him safe. He also is super sweet and does everything he can to ensure the people around him are safe even if it hurts him.
His heat was unlike anything I have ever read and I loved it. It was high anxiety and action at the start with a huge level of fear based off the warning that he managed to give the guys before he slipped under. Cas is unique in the fact that the hormones he releases will bring all the boys to the yard. This made for a crazy start.
I loved the way this story was happy to bring in the toys and talk of kinky ideas while never making a big deal out of them. I love the fact that there was this huge random toy collection.
Nate is this big teddy bear of an Alpha. He is a protector and just wants his pack to be safe and loved. Kato on the other hand is chaos. This actually makes these two Alphas perfect together. These three men all fit together perfectly and really needed each other. Together they became so much more while creating the pack they always needed. All three men came in with heavy backstories but together they were able to not only heal but to thrive.
“It’s how it should be. The three of us entwined. Irrevocable. Uncompromising. Permanent. An unbreakable bond. Mated for life.”
I was so intrigued by Cas in this. Kato and Nathan are great of course and I love how they came together but Cas was the draw for me. He was so sweet and soft. Finding out his story broke my heart. He deserved the joy he found with Nathan and Kato. Declan is awful and I would like to see him dethroned. This had so many side characters I adored. Like Adrian and Niall. I loved them so much. There was part of this book that absolutely gutted me and I hope book 2 is the happiness I need for this. Ultimately I really loved the dynamic and the pack Nathan ended up with.
{Ravage} ARC review by Jessie melka __________•__________
The book that I’m reviewing is non other than Ravage by Marra moore and Risa cruise I don’t know about you but it’s on my top 5 most anticipated releases this year and I’m honoured that I get to review it and share it with you all. Let’s just dig into what the book is about!!!
Ravage an MMM shifter romance book centred around the three Mc’s, Cas, kato and Nathan. Nathan and kato both alpha OutKasts find a wounded omega (Casper) on the border of the parklands Both of them feel a strange attachment to this Omega neither of him wants to let him go so when they bring him to the strict outfit of the pack who is suspicious from the moment he sees the omega they offered to take him in Nathan who is already babysitting Kato who is sent from his family‘s packed to get himself together after a tough period. And kato who feels like he screws everything up that his life has been ruined by the fortune of the past neither of them can let go of the omega neither of them want to but when he wakes up things starts happening that none of them could have expected
Ravage by Marra moore and Risa cruise is an MMM shifter romance With lots of unexpected twist and turns and in the prologue our first introduction is Casper running, from what. You will have to find out for yourself but what I wanted to say from this is that right from the prologue the book just sucks you in all this tension that the prologue will really drive you tge drive to want to dive head first into the book, each chapter gets you more and more excited for what’s coming next
All these boys has had a life of misfortune they’ve all been told that they are wrong for being who they are some try to change some strive to obtain that little thread still inside of them hoping that one day everything will be alright and my heart really goes out to them. They’ve been through so much and together they just make the perfect imperfection perfection.
Cas my sweet angel baby cakes I love his spirit kind open armed and loving even through everything he has been through. He’s such a lovable person.
Kato I cannot express how much I love his character. He gives us very much sad boy aesthetic, but he’s hilarious and he deserves the world. And with these two, I hope he gets it.
Nathan the strong and feel is on the outside the soft teddy bear on the inside being shown by his family for his desires but honestly, who could blame him ;)
This was a lovely story and quite frankly extremely sexy too though there was moments where I really feared what was going to happen despite everything they made it and I’m happy for them
I must not remember to say I don’t think I really have any criticism because it is book one and I’m excited to see what will happen next. There are so many things left unsaid and I can’t wait to hear them The book was beautifully written so there is no complaints there. It’s also my first book I’ve ever read from Marra and I’m really excited to dive into their work some more. Risa i’ve been reading for awhile and I always loved their work so of course I had to read this one too.
I read this book a 4.3 out of 5 stars and I would love to recommend this to someone who is looking for a polyamorous story with shifters and forbidden relationships and of course love lots and lots of love This book really helped me by the horns and I couldn’t stop reading it from the moment. It hit my email inbox right until the end I couldn’t put it down. But remember to always form your own opinion and not just listen to mine until next time my loves….
Nate, Kato, and Cas have me FERAL. The hormone-crazed antics were incredibly hot and I loved the vulnerable moments when the rush fades and they have to face the aftermath. I was anxious to see how their relationship would fare when instinct no longer held the reins.
I really like this book's approach to shifter omegaverse, especially how their "wolves" were not entirely disparate from their unshifted personalities. This was especially important to me in light of Cas's traumatic loss of autonomy. Primal instinct didn't feel like an excuse to shirk all accountability.
I'm grateful I got the chance to read an advance copy and im leaving this review of my own accord.
I really enjoyed reading Nathan, Kato and Cas’ poly romance. I am a huge fan of omegaverse when done right and I absolutely loved their chemistry, fated mates aspect, the excellent banter and the worldbuilding. There are some very spicy scenes in this book because Nathan and Kato really just could not stay away from Cas if they tried ❤️🔥 so be prepared. Thank you to authors Risa Cruise and Marra Moore for the early copy!
I was soo excited for not only my first MMM book but also my first omegaverse(!!!) and alas, I am underwhelmed. I debated a lot between 2 or 3 stars and in the end settled on 2 because I feel like all three main characters had no chemistry whatsoever. Kato and Nate had the most chemistry of the three of them but it was also pretty non-existent, we were told that they had spent all these long months together but saw actually nothing between them but instant lust. And maybe my lack of omegaverse was working against me here and this is how this trope always works, but I feel like these characters fell into insta-lust with their mating and never even bothered to get to know one another after that. I mean Nate even mentions to Cas at one point that they know nothing about each other, and we still get no character or relationship development? Literally any serious scene would be ruined by Kato making a stupid ass remark or Nate thinking about fucking his mates, it took me out of so many scenes and made this read pretty frustrating. And what the fuck was up with the authors pulling that bullshit on Niall and Adrian???? That invoked the most emotion from me in the entire book and not in a good way.
Not gonna lie, in the end I was skimming and probably would have DNFed had it not been an ARC.
I do want to say a huge thank you to the authors for a free ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
absolutely loooved ravage! lived up to the hype, made me fall in love with each (main) character, changed my entire stance on books featuring poly ships! i just loooved it! i hope we get more from the world, because i am fully invested lmao. fantastic job to both marra and risa, i couldnt put it down and i will scream to everyone who will listen about this book 😅🥰
