The Detective Therapy

‎In Emerald Ville, secrets don’t just haunt you. They hunt you.

‎Gabriella Peters arrived at Guépard Academy seeking the one thing her life in Lloren never allowed: invisibility. Along with her twin, Gabriel, she hoped the elite school’s ancient stone walls would provide a fresh start and a shield for the secret that has already cost her everything. But Guépard is an edifice that eats girls like her for breakfast, and its halls are filled with eyes that see more than they should.

‎When a sudden, bone-chilling Vision forces Gabriella to save a teacher’s life in front of her entire class, her cover is torched. The "Gift" she views as a curse — a heavy burden of headaches and glowing skin — is now a beacon for a predator.

‎A vague figure known as the Vandal is playing a lethal game of psychological chess, leaving notes in her locker and Guide that prove they know her mind better than she does and play tricks with her mind by manipulating events that happen in her life.

‎Alongside the CLARGST — a diverse group of misfits each guarding their own secrets — Gabriella must race to uncover the Vandal's identity. But as the stakes rise and the school’s technology begins to glitch in ways that defy logic, Gabriella realizes the Vandal isn't just toying with the school; they are experimenting on her.

‎In a place where the walls are always staring, Gabriella must solve the mystery before her Visions stop being warnings and start becoming her tomb.

CHISONARI believes that every mystery worth solving starts within.
A former child model and performer who grew up in the spotlight, Chisonari turned to the page to navigate her own journey through bullying and self-discovery. What started as a secret manuscript — her own form of therapy — became The Detective Therapy, the story she needed to exist before she could give it to anyone else.
She's still figuring it out, but she's doing it out loud, on the page, and with you.
Her mission is simple: helping a generation find their own Main Character energy. She is the heart behind the Her Renewed Essence community, and she's currently pouring her all into the Definitive Edition of The Detective Therapy.
She isn't just telling stories. She's building a sanctuary for anyone still finding their light — including herself.

It was an awesome story. It had quite a few bits of normal everyday life which I like in books. And the near future it seems to be set in allows this fun way to look at life now. There’s more I want to say but I don’t want to spoil anything

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hiii. I wrote The Detective Therapy and I also cried while writing it. Make of that what you will.
Gabriella Peters is awkward and brave and falling apart in the most human way possible, and I loved her before I even knew where her story was going. I wrote her when I felt invisible, when I thought my voice would never be heard, when life just didn't seem to like me very much. The Detective Therapy is the kind of story that sits with you in the quiet moments when you're not expecting it and it did that for me first. It gave me hope. And a second chance to dream.
This book was born in 2023 when all I wanted was to get the story out. It's 2026 now. She's grown, evolved and better.
There's also a found family that will absolutely wreck and heal you.
This is written, completely unbiased.

As an ARC reader, I’m genuinely excited about this story. From the moment I started the book, I felt immersed—like I was right there, witnessing everything unfold in real time. The FMC’s inner dialogue really resonated with me, as it mirrors my own thought process and made me feel an instant connection to her.

The world-building is well done and engaging. My only critique is that I would have liked more insight into the reason behind the move; that detail would have deepened my understanding. Overall, though, I’m thoroughly enjoying the journey so far.
