Thank you, thank you, thank you y.v. larson for 1) writing this amazing book 2) letting me read the ARC for part 2.
I also got an ARC for for part 1, so this review is kind of a continuation of that one.
And WOW this book lived up to my expectations and surpassed it in some ways and in others.... Well?
I'm not sure if this is a spoiler, but it feels like it so just in case.... SPOILER... Duh.
This part 2 is fantastic, but it also felt like a giant epilogue. That not necessarily a bad thing, but at times it felt like we only need one book. With that being said I think the suspense the first book created and the HEA of this book... My heart is happy, I want to continue to read more (either more of this book or something else by y.v. larson), and now I think I have a new fav / will continue to read author. Hopefully I will continue to like her books, up coming (Trent's story) and old ones. I'm grateful to receive the ARCs in general but more so now because I've found an authors writing style I enjoy and continue to want more of.
Some thoughts on this book (trying to make without spoiling but warnings none the less)
-the acknowledgment that people with a bond (real or fictional) sometimes have any ability to which who's turn it is to panic even while in the middle of a situation where multiple people can be panicked. Sometimes the "strong" one isn't the one who is usually or ideally the "strong" one it's who is more able to be strong in that one moment to let the other person have the time need to panic and vice versa. (I'm not sure I explained that well, but... \/('-')\/ (that's my try at a shrug emoji)
-"trust came first... Love came second..." I think this quote is perfect to summarize both part 1 and 2 while also being (while stated otherwise in the book) what I believe (could be only me / my opinion) what I think a relationship / love should strive to be. Strive being the optimal word / goal, even though hearts and brains don't always allow / work like that.
-the verbal images of the "sub space" of vivi's is beyond wonderful and intriguing. It gives hope, reassurance, support, insite, safety, and love to Vivi; while also giving a visual representative for Vivi to the reader. it also continues to grows along with Vivi and the story. I hope this aspect of this world continues to be explored apon in more / upcoming books.
Less deep and philosophical thoughts are that:
1) You should read the books for yourself (then come tell me your thoughts; we can fangirl together)
2) trophy shelf worthy or at the very least an honorable mention (related to previous review)
3) fantastic characters, storyline, writing style, and perfect mix of emotion and humor.
4) the nickname game between the characters is on point and appreciated.
5) I know I don't review like a "normal" reader but I like that and I hope you do to.
If this wasn't enough to convince you / help you want to read part 2 then please continue your search for knowledge and try to read this book in the future (it's comes out later in June 2026)
*also please read the trigger warnings. I do believe they are the same as the first book so if you didn't read / finish part 1, part 2 is most likely not for you.

Perfectly imperfect

While the first book focused on getting to know the characters and their fight for survival, this one is about coping with further trauma, facing the unknown, and tearing down emotional walls. It's a "battle against the demons".

This duet conclusion was everything I hoped for and more. I loved how beautifully everything came together in the final installment, tying up the story in such an emotional and satisfying way. The character development throughout this duet was incredible, and I was fully invested in every high and low right alongside them.
This story had my heart racing, my emotions all over the place, and me constantly rooting for these characters to finally get the happily ever after they deserved. The emotional depth in this book was one of my favorite parts—it was heartfelt, gripping, and impossible to put down.
Overall, Bound by Love exceeded all of my expectations. If you love stories with strong character development, emotional intensity, a gripping plot, and a cast you can’t help but become attached to, I absolutely recommend this duet. This was easily one of my favorite reads of 2026, and I can’t wait to see what Y.V. Larson gives us next.

This duet conclusion was everything I hoped for and more. I loved how beautifully everything came together in the final installment, tying up the story in such an emotional and satisfying way. The character development throughout this duet was incredible, and I was fully invested in every high and low right alongside them.

The Perfect Goodbye to Vivian and Her Pack
This was a phenomenal conclusion to the Subliminal Binds Duet. I absolutely loved this storyline from beginning to end, and it wrapped everything up in such a satisfying way.
We pick up right where book one left off, and Vivian and her pack officially welcome Riot into the fold. After everything she endured, Vivian struggles deeply with the trauma of being kidnapped, and watching her work through those emotions was both heartbreaking and realistic. Thankfully, her men never leave her side. Kade, Silas, Jerek, and Riot rally around her, reminding her every step of the way that she is loved, safe, and never alone.
I loved seeing the relationships between Kade, Silas, Jerek, Riot, and Vivian continue to grow. Their bond felt genuine, and the unwavering support they showed one another made this pack even more special.
This was a thrilling, emotional read that kept me invested until the very last page. I honestly wish I could experience this duet again for the first time. I can’t wait to see what this author writes next!

Technicolor bonds
I FREAKING LOVE THE BONDS IN THIS BOOK.
I absolutely loved all the imagery in this duet. The bonds are everything in this story and all ways they are represented was beautiful.
Of course this picks up where part one ended. Vivian is home but she is absolutely not okay. Riot is there but trying to figure out how to leave. The entire pack dynamic is chaos and no one is okay.
Vivian is struggling more than ever before. The pack trying to figure out how to help sends her into a tailspin when she overhears part of a conversation and makes it fit her narrative.
This book explores and explains the pack bonds as perceived by Vivian. We also see some of the pack finding more within the bonds.
I love the way Riot was pulled into the pack. He had a lot to work through too. Vivian really helps him and he gets her to come out and talk more.
This is a very unique Omegaverse story which makes it so much more. I love the way YV Larson writes. Her stories always bring out the emotions. I can't wait for the next book.

Bound By Love is a why choose, spicy omegaverse featuring Vivian, Kade, Jarek, Silas, and Riot. It is the second book in the Subliminal Bonds duet. The books should be read in order.
After the ordeal endured in the first book, Vivian and Riot are taken to hospital for treatment. While they work on healing, Kade, Jarek and Silas try to focus on their omega, giving her what she needs, and recover from the shock of finding out she has claimed Riot as her own. They soon all return home, along with their new addition. This new family has some hurdles to overcome in order to settle in to a new routine, and help both Vivian and Riot find their way. They all have questions and concerns, but underlying it all is love and acceptance, and that makes this a beautiful love story.
It didn't take me long to remember the story and reconnect with the characters. I enjoyed the evolution of their dynamic, their love and attention focused not only on Vivian but Riot as well, and how these individuals come together as a family. This duet was the first works I have read by Larson but I hope to explore more of their work in the future.

Just like book 1, Bound by Trust, this story is packed full of all the emotions! My heart goes out to all of the members in this pack for everything that they have been through. I love the way Y.V. Larson illustrates to the reader the struggle these members are facing after getting Vivian back and trying to accept Riot into their pack. Everyone works to get past their issues bolstered by love from the rest of the pack and that really resonates with me. I still needed to have my tissues handy but this duet has so many layers to its excellence. Vivian's story is everything I didn't know I needed in an Omegaverse, in any book series and so much more. Y.V. Larson you have out done yourself with these books. I hate crying so much, but I will reread these books forever. There will honestly be a special place on my shelf for these!

After a highly angsty and tension-filled first half of the duet, the second half was simultaneously emotionally devastating and heartwarming. The progression throughout is predominantly based around the pack and their relationships, but was everything I wanted. Riot is an absolute heartthrob and his reluctance to accept as much was pretty comical. The sheer amount of growth from everyone, specifically Riot and Vivian, was a wonder to see. And I really enjoyed seeing Riot find his footing in the pack and his relationships develop. The unwavering support and kindness between everyone in the pack felt like the warmest, most cozy hug. The tether dynamic Y.V. describes in this duet was beautifully unique and I loved the intricacies it introduced to the pack’s bond. It was truly a phenomenal duet and I could not recommend this why-choose omegaverse more!

After the emotional devastation of book one, this conclusion delivered exactly what I was hoping for: healing, growth, and a pack that refuses to give up on each other.
The emotional work was put in. Both Vivian and Riot are forced to confront their trauma head on, sometimes together and sometimes on their own. There were no easy fixes. Just people choosing, over and over again, to keep moving forward, and choosing one another.
One of my favorite things about this duet continues to be the bond between the pack. The way their connection works is so unique compared to other omegaverse stories. It’s more than a scent match or mating bond. It’s something deeper, more intimate, and emotionally layered. I loved seeing that explored even further in this book.
I also really appreciated the ARFID representation through Vivian’s experiences. From my perspective working with individuals who have ARFID, many of the signs, struggles, and thought processes felt very familiar to stories I’ve heard from clients over the years. It was handled with care and added another layer to Vivian’s character.
I love the pack, and their devotion to one another.

And I love the way they continue choosing love, even when everything seems stacked against them.

Omg, this was an amazing book. It brought the whole story line together like a perfectly pieced puzzle. I adore the fact that the FMC has selective mutism and that Y.V. Larson brings light to unseen disabilities. I love me an omega verse but this one *chefs kiss*. It is more plot then spice but oh my word 🌶🌶🌶🌶 is it spicy in the right moments.

The perfect conclusion to a really beautiful story. I love these characters, they’re all so unique and fit together perfectly. This duet shows a brand new representation of bonds that were so vivid and visual and I’m obsessed. Viv is the perfect combination of soft is strong and I really loved the neurodivergent rep and how realistic it’s portrayed through her. And these MMCs are all loving and caring and protective and darn sexy. The tension was still very much present In this second half between Viv and Riot and it kept me on my toes. He’s the perfect addition to their pack. The growth for all these characters was a beautiful part of this conclusion. And as always the spice was spicin’. This duet has action, romance, spice, tension, witty banter and a love that conquers all. Can’t recommend this duet enough!

Emotional, gut-wrenching, healing and spicy. I love the fact that while they're trying to heal from all the trauma, the bonds that are forming are so complete. I cried, I laughed, I loved...I truly felt all the things while reading this. Riot was my favorite and watching him learn to love and be loved was perfection. And sweet feral Vivie, watching her heal some of her trauma and come out of her shell was so amazing. Honestly this was messy emotions and chaotic feelings and sad thoughts and loving hearts and healing vibes and just... complete and utter perfection! I read it in one sitting and absolutely loved every second of it!

What an awesome conclusion to this duet!! I already fell in love with Viv and her alphas (yes even Riot) in the first book. This one picks up right where book 1 stopped. Here we get to see them adjust to not only what happened, but their own personal scars and problems as well as new dynamics. I dont want to spoil but if you love alphas who will do anything for their omega, an omega who will do anything for her alphas, mental health issues, selective mutism, healing, love, growth and of course spicy times... these are the books for you!!

This duet has been a rollercoaster of a ride, it's think ive felt every emotion known to man while reading this, from anger to laughter to tears it drew it all out.
What a fantastic read it was though. Im so glad there was more of Riot in this book, finding out his past and seeing what he brings to the pack was sweet, and angering, both Riot and Viv have been through so much and for both of them to be able to keep fighting, keep living was awe inspiring.
Watching the pack flounder was hard, but so understandable. Seeing them express their fear and pain while understanding that in a lot of cases there isnt anything they could do other than what they already were, well bar Riot he definitely saw things from a very different perspective and his input was the healing balm they all needed.
Now I desperately want the next book. This author never fails to write a story that is equal parts heartbreak and healing!

This was such a satisfying conclusion. Picking up where book 1 ends, we see this pack heal, grow, expand, learn, and love so beautifully. It is not easy, and the descriptions of tr@um@ and mental health remind is how much that is the case. The raw emotions of watching someone so used to not being loved that it makes four other people love better, heal more, communicate more, was intense. Which is why I love YV's writing... you know the emotions are always going to be in the front of the story.

I really enjoyed the different characters in this book. Of course I love omegaverse in general, so I read a lot of them. This has a new twist on bonds that was twisted in with mental health issues so I thought it made it somewhat difficult to understand and enjoy. Told from all POV, there was a lot more mm than I usually read and I just especially hate the saying “my love” as an endearment. This duet was actually pretty short, definitely wish I had read it on kindle unlimited instead of buying the paperback version.

I sat down to read this the minute I got it and did not get up until I was done. This duet took bonds to a new level and it was beautiful. There was pain, but there was so much more healing. My favorite part was just watching how the pack dynamic changed. Change can be hard, it can be uncomfortable, but sometimes it's a missing link you didn’t realize you were missing. I love how deeply Y.V’s characters feel, I have yet to finish a book or series from her without a book hangover.

The cliffhanger from the first book did not let down being ] thrown right back into the story and I needed to know what happened next. I needed to find out if Vivi was okay, if Kade was okay and how the rest of the pack would handle them. It was a such a strong book about love, acceptance and family. Seeing their growth as a pack, and how they are still learning how to be together was beautiful. It was a book full of love, spice and family.

Wow. Can I say that again wow. This duet was just amazing. An emotional roller coaster. Vivian and Riot have gone through a lot of trauma. I love how her pack accepted Riot. Definitely watch for triggers. I was hooked beginning to end with this duet. Will definitely reread it.

I really love this duet. It was filled with so much emotional trauma, sweet moments, hard times trials and tribulations. I love the female character. She was very strong even through everything that she went through, I love how she overcame even her pack mates , helped her and the way that they went through their trials and overcame it was beautiful to read. I definitely love this. Duet , and I can't wait to read the next book by this amazing author

This duet brings attention to the struggles of PTSD and depression with the effects on the relationship, FMC has always had the affinity of auras, making her omega side suffer with issues silently. With this book focus on the aftermath of her kidnapping and bringing in another Alpha that is part of her soul. Be prepared to follow her emotions and build of a stronger pack.

It was great!
I don't usually connect as much with duet's second books but I'm glad to say this was the exception.
I loved seeing them figure out their dynamics and work through their issues. The last few chapters gave me absolutely everything, being able to see them live together and love each other so seamlessly.

This is book two of the Subliminal bonds duet. While I will say this had not been my favorite of this author's it was still really good. I enjoyed seeing how close the bonds were and how much those bonds helped. Overall the duet was good. It had such a unique premise and since it started with an already established and bonded pack I think it is different from other omegaverse books.

I finished this in one day, and it honestly would have been one sitting if life hadn't gotten in the way. 🥹 This was an incredible conclusion to the duet and an absolute emotional roller coaster. Watching Vivian and the pack fight their way through everything they had endured was both heartbreaking and rewarding. I loved seeing the pack continue to grow together, Riot finding his place, and the unique way the bond dynamics were explored. The character growth, healing, and emotional payoff made this a finale that exceeded my expectations.
