This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and the sweetest, most adorable, historical romantic comedy/erotica that I’ve read. I enjoyed Lucy, the female “new money” debutante lead trying desperately to fit in whilst still holding to her principles. I enjoyed Peter, the male duke lead frustrated by the financial situation he found himself in and trying to care for his elderly mother. I laughed at Peter’s attempts to escape their inadvertent scandal. I adored the way they supported each other once they were married, working together to look after his responsibilities, enjoying hobbies together, and learning how to please each other together. This was a fun, fast, sweet and spicy read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Sweet innocence shines through Peter’s tough guy facade. He and Lucy are adorable in their open curiosity and clumsy fated successes. I wholeheartedly recommend Ruined by the Duke’s Quizzing Glass. It is quite entertaining, lighthearted, steamy, good fun.

Lucy steals the Duke’s quizzing glass and ends up being married to him. This was a short and fun romp. Both leads are virgins. Lucy gets her knowledge from books and Peter visited a brothel but didn’t participate in the activities. It was nice to see how they both relied on books to expand their horizons. Both are likable and there is no angst or major drama.
